"You can tell him whatever you want," Billy then gave another leveling stare, "Just don't hurt him. I think he's had enough of that already."
And Billy knew that it was all his fault. He also knew that there really wasn't anything he could do about it, but if there was any way he could stop anyone else from hurting Ladon... Well, he knew not the extremes he would go to.
"I'm sure you wouldn't intentionally. Just felt like I should reiterate."

"I think you've probably hurt him more than I ever could, but I'll keep that in mind," he said. He met Billy's level stare again with one of his own. He was sure Billy could be intimidating when he wanted to be, but Paris had seen enough in his life not to be frightened by someone he thought of as little more than a high school punk.
"I can't guarantee that I won't try to kick your a** if I see Ladon and he's miserable or if you do anything else to hurt him, but I suppose for now we can call a temporary truce."
He looked him over again, just to feast his eyes on the image of Billy looking washed up and dejected for a little longer, before deciding it was not an appealing picture -- even less so than the mental image he'd previous had of him.
"Go sleep or something. I can hardly even see why I thought you were attractive before anymore, and right now it doesn't have anything to do with the fact that you're a p***k. You seriously look bad. I can honestly say I almost feel sorry for you. I might if it were someone other than Ladon you'd been playing with."
