Quite bluntly, Howl pointed out "A pointy stick is no substituted for a lie detector." Obviously he was tending to a lady who happened to have a few screws loose. It became quite obvious as she pulled man over who she had obviously injured.
As she asked him what he was going to do, he stated what he foresaw. "I will be damned if I do, and I will be damned if I do not. If I confess to being something I am not, you will injure me. If I do not confess, then you will injure him, and then most likely me afterwards." Of course with the way she was leaning upon her weapon was probably causing some damage. It was hard to tell at the moment, his vision was getting a bit blurry from the prolonged effects of blood rushing to his head.
"...I am not saying that I am a senshi, because I am not one... but leave that gentleman out of this. Do whatever you want with me. I see no reason why there needs to be two who are injured."

Painite grinned at him.
"Clever girl," she said, though the joke was strained. Howl, as established, was no girl, and certainly no velociraptor. That did not stop the joke from being funny, damn it.
She watched him keenly as he spoke, an idea crawling over, dripping like ice down the back of her neck and making her shudder with anticipation. She knew he was going to need to be cut down soon, and a senshi would be drawn to the area before long. Her energy was hard to miss.
Moving the javelin from the man's chest, she nodded her head.
"You're right, of course," she kneeled by the man, putting her hand on his slowly rising chest. He was breathing evenly, and seemed to just be unconscious. But she wasn't checking on him. Her hand slipped into his chest, or so it looked, and her delicate fingers wrapped around his starseed. With a thrill she had never experienced before, she pulled the shining crystal free, leaving the man to die.
She moved to Howl, taking his hand a putting the crystal in it, working his fingers so he didn't drop it despite being upside down.
"You might not be a senshi, but you must know them pretty well. the next one you see, yourself or not as the case may be, give this to them. Say it's a gift, from General Painite. And from you."
She backed away from him, watching before blinking out of existence, as if she had never been there at all, leaving him to be found and let down by whoever might be passing by. She had taken the body with her, it seemed, to dispose of elsewhere.

The jab at his appearance did not go unnoticed, though he most certainly tried to remain as neutral about it as possible. However, it was quite difficult to maintain his composure and have all of the blood seeming to fester at his head.
There was a faint sigh of relief on his part as she pulled that weapon away. The man definitely needed some sort of first aid. Perhaps this woman knew first aid, thus why she was kneeling down at the man's side, pressing a hand over his heart.
Perhaps his eyes were playing tricks on him though, for he had to blink curiously, even moving a hand to rub at his eye. It looked like the woman's hand had passed through the man's chest. Even curiouser, the woman seemed to pull some sort of gemstone from where she had reached. Logically this made no sense to him. His brain fought to try and locate a logical reason for all of this. Did the man have some of pocket at his chest where that gemstone had been hiding?
His head was starting to hurt to the point where he didn't even want to maintain this conversation. Yet soon enough, he felt the woman take his hand and stuff something warm within his grasp.
Her words were anything but comforting. Though, the only thing he did manage to pull out of her farewell was her name.
General Painite.
The object he had been given, he carefully attempted to place it into a smaller pocket upon his pants. After hanging around for so long upside down with his energy being stolen without him being any wiser, he had to finally pass out.
He awoke the next day at the police station. Apparently some officer had located the lad in his unusual situation while patrolling. He was questioned, and Howl answered as honestly as he was able.
Howl knew of starseeds, yet now he was in possession of one, and he did not even know it.
