He shook his head- he probably didn't phrase it in the best of ways. "No no. I do. Generally though, when I'm flying, unless I'm with Glawar, I have somewhere that I am going. Being in the air...there's less traffic than on the ground, ergo more freedom of where you're flying exactly." He gave her a smile, and wondered at the sadness in her eyes. Had she not been free to be who she was at a time? He hadn't meant it in that way, and hoped she wasn't upset.

She forced a smile back onto her face to dispel away the sadness that had started to plague her mind. "Please forgive me, I had found myself thinking back to whom I used to be." A half smile formed instead of what she wanted as a full smile but she figured it worked for what she wanted to portray. She was not fully happy but not equally sad either, she was somewhere in the middle perhaps? "I did a lot of bad things to a lot of others." Sayoko figured that she shouldn't leave the stallion in the dark too much, it could be a scary place when there was no glimpse of light. A shudder rippled through her body as her mind wandered to how lost she had been in the darkness. "I would love to meet your family though, and perhaps you could meet mine one day." She was glad to have made an actual friend for once even if it had been in unfortunate circumstances, but she did wonder where his son had wondered off to, if it was custom to just leave one alone if they got separated? She had continued to walk, not stopping once as she had carried on the conversation but it seemed that she was no as far from her home as she had thought because within moments of finishing her last sentence her companion came wondering forward. The black and purple bear nuzzled her legs as if he couldn't get enough of her touch. "I am so sorry Akira." She smiled down at the little bear. "This is Akira, Raka; he keeps me company so that I am not completely alone." She smiled at her new friend and then back down at the little bear. "I had planned to return before he awoke but I did not quite make it." She giggled down at the little bundle of fur and laid down before the bear so that he could cuddle up against her.

He gave a slight nod. "A bird can change their feathers, though. It's possible to change...so long as one wants the change." Raka gave a smile to the mare, the fact that she was thinking of the future amused her. "Perhaps one day. It'd be nice...plus, more friends is always a good thing." He took a half step back upon sighting the small bear, however he swiftly continued moving forward once he saw her reaction to it. "Akira? Cute. And with you having to walk- definitely not before he woke. But, at least the little guy managed to find you, right?"

Sayoko found herself nuzzling the little bear in return; wanting to show the bear just how sorry she was for making him worry. He had probably been scared and alone when he had woke up and realized that she was nowhere in sight. "Have you ever changed Raka?" She thought carefully about it before she chose her words, she didn't want to upset her possible new friend. Was it even possible for someone to become upset from such a question? Her mind began to wander off of the topic at hand as she explored the various things that could make someone's emotions run high. She knew from her past of a few things that could make blood boil and tensions form but never of what could form nervousness or make one feel embarrassed. Akira grumbled at her because she had stopped giving him attention, she blinked in surprise at herself. It wasn't like her at all to stare into space like she had been and to just go off into her own little world.

"Have I ever changed?" His eyebrows raised as he contemplated the question while she nuzzled Akira while laying down. "As one ages, they change. Or, grow, I suppose. Every encounter one has will change them slightly, in my opinion, at least. I guess it's safe to say that I've changed, then." He gave a slight shrug as soon as he had finished responding to the question.
Glancing at the sky, he turned his gaze once more to the mare and her little companion. "Would it be possible for him to ride on your back? That way he'd be able to be with you as we continued heading towards your home?"
