"Oh, I hope you Impress then. I had another friend who didn't and aged out." Wykla hasn't seen the harper girl in some time. Perhaps it was still just too painful. It sounded like Janeallia wouldn't mind too much though if she didn't get a dragon.
"I'm a rider." Wykla focused on getting down the path. She looked up as another flit joined them. Boreal fluttered up and hummed at the new green. Reaching the beack Wykla looked around for the possible owner of the flit.

Jane smiled at Wykla "Many thanks." She frowned a little and thought for a moment wondering if she'd run into said friend of Wykla's. She thought back to when she found Moor and remembered the girl, well woman, the frail on she'd offered water to. Her behavoir added up if she was who Wykla was refering to, she seemed to remember them exchanging greetings too. "Would your friend be Ashmere by any chance?" She asked as they worked their way downt he path, she kept an eye on Wykla ahead of her, should the other female start to fall. She stutter stepped when Wykla said she was a rider, and for a minute was afraid that she might have crossed a line and was rude but Wykla didn't seem upset, regardless she said, "Oh wow I didn't know, I'm sorry if i was rude or anything..."
When they came out onto the beach she too looked around for the owner of the flit, though she searched the waters instead of the sand figuring the rider was searching the beach.

The young teen nodded. There was nothing like having your own dragon, as she knew. "You're welcome. Any color you'd hope for, or any dragon will do?" Some candidates got into their heads that only a certain color could possible Impress them. Could be a real downer if you didn't get that color.
Wykla started a moment, then realized that others would have met Ashmere too. She gave a sheepish grin. "Yeah. I guess you've met her?" Obviously or Jane wouldn't have been able to name her. She had to laugh softly. "No Jane you weren't. I had one candidate mistake me for herdbeast help when I went to feed Kameth. She was standing in the group and I had to call her out. I don't have my knots on cause I know this will be a messy job." Looking back at the event, she could be amused by it now. Being short and young definiately had disadvantage.
