I got a new pet. Right now it's a serpent with wings, but if given the chance, it will be growing into a Falcor-like beast. biggrin Falcor from Neverending Story.

isabutt woot woot:0! nah he isnt. ill let him know then. thanks smile ! That's just how mine did it. I got to start the game with a pet, but when that one died he asked if I'd be looking for another one, I told him what I wanted and we rolled the stats. For one game session I was without a pet, but the last game session we had I found him. He was on the path our group was heading. We had to save him and I had to roll to see if it'd follow me and listen to me. And he did. heart

Don't wish such evil things!
Well D&D related, I bought a little drawing today of what I automatically associated with my serpent-like pet that is planned to age and strengthen into a Falcor (Neverending Story). It's cute and I'll share it here soon.

Alright. Yesterday was game night with my Level 4 Rogue Gnome. Our group had to go down into a crypt and I found a vial of green liquid that turned out to be embalming fluid that I then dipped my arrows in to and used those to shoot at the undead that were walking around. I was able to attract a few, lock the gate and shoot through it. Ne ner ne ner, you'll never get this! razz
I'm really excited about today though (less than an hour and half from now) because my Druid Elf levels and learns a few new things. Mastered entangled roots and I got a magic bow that allows me to entangle the target AND do damage (each turn while it's still entangled).

It went really well! I ended up being able to use my entangle roots to help us a lot when fighting like 20 undead things. They couldn't break out of it so we just kept standing there attacking them. And then we fought a big monster and I still had two magical arrows I hadn't used and wasn't sure what they did, they both hit and they turned to healing and as we all know, healing undead kills them faster. biggrin Now I have two entangled roots that have the ability to hurt my opponents while healing my allies. It's totally awesome!
Falcor ended up evolving and helped us out a lot! He's big enough for me to ride him. There was a 20ft wall with green slime on it and I asked Falcor to take me to the top and he did razz

PukeFacedFreak So last week I actually went and bought some dice and a little character model to be my game piece. This will be the first time I spend more than 4 hours playing (I tried to play like 6 years ago and that's all we got to do due to circumstances).
My character is an Elf Druid with a honey badger pet. biggrin
What do you usually play as? Do you have any tips/ suggestions? Any funny/interesting stories about a time you played D&D? Wanna call me a nerd?
Go for it. biggrin how do you play D&D i heard of it but never played it.

Go for it. biggrin how do you play D&D i heard of it but never played it. Well I obviously can't explain it all, but it is basically like a RPG. You have classes to choose from, skills, and work together to accomplish things. Of course D&D came before those online RPGs. You play with imagination. There are books that say what powers certain monsters have and you roll dice and fight them to win treasures and such so there are guidelines, but there is a blank map and little figurines to represent the monsters and characters. It is very fun.
