That smirk on her face lowered when West decided to prance in her tattered garments on the floor. That dress. THAT DRESS. He'd targeted it, perhaps? Out of all the things she owned, that was one thing she wasn't able to replace. With the help of Lizzy, she'd been able to purchase it but also the petite demoness had altered it especially for her.

It was priceless. She refused to spill that to him, however. Then for him to throw that in front of her- I like it PLENTY. Hah. Take that!

what?

...what did he just imply?

The ghoul was neat and tidy and saw nothing wrong with keeping the place you live in relatively organized. However, it seemed like West had suggested she clean up this mangled pile of her once-upon-a-time clothes alone. Not going to happen. He set the barn on fire and was going to have to put it out too. She'd caught him and he wasn't goin-

YA AIN'T GOIN' NOWHERE!!!

The words vented out of her, laced with a snarling hiss when the wrath demon attempted to bolt out through her by force. She'd given him fair warning earlier- he was in her domain, defiled her belongings, and underestimated her capabilities. Had he not fought her before? She clothes lined him, immediately catching him mid-fall with her tail around his waist in a clenching grip. She felt the curve of his ribcage with the constricting and stared into his face. For once, there was a serious expression on her face. Sneakin' s all fine n' good... Her eyes flickered a gold in the darkness, and she held up her coiled prey closer so he'd be sure to hear her in this enraged state. ...but yer in ma place now. Show some respect. Ya lost. Take it and learn from it, West. Here- I'll help ya learn first hand.

First hand. She really meant it. Balling a fist, she punched him square in the jaw. Then, she balled the other fist and fluidly followed up with a swift upper cut. She kept her hold on him tight. Again- he wasn't going anywhere. This included falling to the floor.

Levi heard voices whisper to her in the back of her mind about how weak she was. She'd given him too much respect; boils like Demi loosened her distaste for boils and she'd gone easy on West as a result. Or at least, this was her perception of things thus far. If the wrath demon was looking to treat her like those boils back home did, she'd do the same. If he wasn't going to take the consequences properly, she'd leave his limp body for the nurse to take care of. He had it coming.

He jabbed out an elbow as he passed the ghoul, intending to crack her in the face with it on the way to the door, but his feet were forced out from under him again before it could connect. This time he didn't fall, not because he kept his balance, but because there was a tail wrapped around his torso holding him up. One of his arms remained free, but the other was held tight against his left side. Well, this wasn't good.

West turned to fire off a retort. Instead, her fist met his jaw.

The sound he made when she punched him the first time could have been most easily described as a coughlaugh. The second time, what came out was more of an urk due to the whole simultaneous tongue biting thing. To his credit, West didn't flinch as blood began to trickle from the corner of his mouth. He grinned, his teeth stained bright red. Pain. Anger. He had won at least one battle tonight. Too bad she didn't know she had been fighting it. Still, the fact remained that he was trapped, and he had to admit he was starting to feel a little lightheaded from all the squeezing.

"Get off me. Now." West looked down and wiggled, slapping at her tail with the flat of his palm. "OFF!" he snarled. Flecks of blood from his cut tongue spattered against her fur. "I'll clean up yer damn mess 'n everythin'."

If he was like them boils, that certainly wasn't the same reaction she'd gotten from the ones back home. Still with a crinkled nose and glaring eyes, Levi's expression loosened again at West's sheer will. She could crush his innards with her tail (or at least squeeze him enough to do some real damage), but he persisted like it was nothing. He had felt the pain of her attacks, right? Why hadn't he... Jack dangit, boil. Are all ya demons this way 'er is it just you wrath demons? She had to laugh. He dared to attack her tail, demanding to be let go despite the situation.

Is he serious?!

Then he said something that surprised her further. It wasn't really expected of him anymore but he did it. Alright then. Was she going to let him go? ... No. First she quickly constricted on him more; at least to the point where she felt satisfied that he'd perhaps get some nice bruising out of it. Then she began to release and uncoil around him. Not because he asked, but because it was getting late and he would not be getting off easily. Good. It's gettin' late. If they catch ya in 'ere with that bloodied mug, we're both boned, ya got me? So let's just git this over with. We'll clean, I'll get what ya owe me back for the damages n' ya can go on yer merry lil way. Her tail whipped about behind her, geared to take him up again if he tried to run. She wasn't going to mention the prom dress. No matter the replacement, it wouldn't be the same. At the very least, he'd have to repay her for everything else though. A venture to the maul perhaps would get her what she needed but- she also had no idea where this fabled maul was. Students spoke about it, but she'd never been to it or seen it in her outings. It clued in to her then that she'd also need someone to take her there.

Someone who owed her, perhaps? She glances away slyly for a moment and grinned. If she had to suffer through shopping near ghouly stores, he should have to suffer too. N' when should we be heading' ta tha maul? She looked back at him, grinned wiped from her face. It was back to a serious expression.

"Jus' me. No one's'like me," West muttered. It was a silly bit of bravado, but he was actually feeling pretty good right about then, all things considered. He gave her tail one final slap just prior to the damn thing squeezing the life out of him.

"s**t," he wheezed. She was going to kill him. She was going to squish him until his heart blobbed out from between his ribs like that colorful kiddie cla-- Oh, good, she was letting go.

West stumbled forward a step, replacing the air she had forced from his lungs with a quick breath. That was going to leave a mark. His hand rose to his ribs and he rubbed at them, making sure none of them were cracked. He thought he heard something about him paying her back, which was nothing in the way of punishment really, but when she so casually mentioned him accompanying her to the maul, the hairs on the back of his neck rose uncomfortably.

"Can't y'jus'take mah damn discredit card n'go yerself?" He didn't meet her eyes, instead he bent over and picked up several pieces of her former dress, rolling them into a ball. It was not the most pleasing of sensations, but he wasn't going to let her know that.

It was the tone that made her ears flit back and flatten. Now how tha heck ya figure I know where that city dwellin' place is?! That's just fer you city folk. Crouching, she began to pick up random pieces of shredded cloth -was this supposed to be a boil cutout?!-

So yer stuck with me. Did what 'cha done. Only non-cowardly way outs gonna be payin' all yer dues right. Sure- could take yer card but then that'd leave me without tha place ta be gettin' everythin' back. Don't play dumb with me, boil. Yer comin'. That last bit could be understood as you're coming or you don't leave this room. She stared at him till he understood that, a clawed hand gripping the tattered cloth.

He looked up at her then, his brow wrinkled in disbelief. "Y'don't know where th'maul is? Where'd y'buy these then?" He flicked a finger at a scrap of ruined fabric that looked like it had once been a part of a pair of shorts. "Did Mommy make 'em for ya?" He looked away again, gathering a few more scraps. "Daddy prob'ly," he muttered derisively.

The ghost of a grunt escaped his throat at her casual proclamation that he was a coward. What he had done was not cowardly! It was stealthy and... Jingleberescent!

"You..." he began. West narrowed his eyes at her and picked up another bit of her clothing, jamming it into the ball of material he already held. He stood up straight again. "Anything'll be better than the crap you wear now," he said through gritted teeth. "Name th'time, an' if I'm not doin' anythin' already, I'll come with y'to the stupid maul."

She actually pouted at him like it had been an insult to her upbringing.

It was true; Levi wasn't a seamstress by any means. If there was a button or rip that needed mending- sure, she could do that. You didn't grow up roughhousing without learning that you couldn't bring everything to Ma without becoming a nuisance to her usual workload. However, being able to convert pieces of material into something wearable was not something she took to. Her Ma and the ghouls who did take to their more domestic trainings were responsible for her clothing. West was somewhat right but- Why'da I git tha feelin' yer insultin' ma family... It kind of just flew over her head.

He stated an opinion of her usual attire and that in turn had Levi looking over his choice of clothing. Suitable enough given he was intending to sneak but the clothing wasn't going to hide his lack of stealth. Got an eye fer dressin' all fancy, eh? If he thought she dressed poorly (the tatzel really didn't care how things looked so much as functioned), then he knew what was fashionable? A part of her was curious about this; again, was this just him or did all demons concern themselves with fashion? Lizzy certainly would be further proof of this.

Picking up what seemed to be the last of the scraps, she held out an empty hand to West so she could collect his ball. Fine with 'me. I'll let ya know n' you'll make yourself available. Gotcha. She grinned, noting the blood on his cheek and walked over to the door. Tossing the piles into the familiar bucket, she opened the door and stood aside for him. Might wanna git that cleaned up. Yer lookin' like crap yerself right now. Her tail swayed happily at the witty comeback.

He didn't bother acknowledging Levi's pout. Of course he was insulting her upbringing. He had hoped she might have reacted more strongly to the jab, more angrily, but he wasn't about to waste time trying to illicit that response by explaining himself further.

West peered at her with mild disbelief. Was she honestly curious about his fashion sense? He liked to believe he had a bit of it, and often (read, always) took the time to dress well when he could spare it, but he had trouble believing she would ask such a thing if she wasn't making fun of him.

"I like nice things," he grumbled, handing her his ball of fabric and wiping his wrist across his mouth. His sleeve came away smeared with bright blood. "Doesn't mean I'ma ghoul'r nothin'."

Taking her hint, he ambled toward the door, shaking his head at her happiness. "Thanks fer the wunnerful time t'night," he muttered sarcastically. "We'll hafta do it again sometime."

Sure. Yer place again. Only when yer not expectin' it. She did manage to catch the sarcasm. I'll bring ya somethin' nice. The ghoul had no idea what that was, but it sounded cool in her head. Good one!

Behind them both, Sweets chirped before coming into view again, flopping down on Levi's shoulder. The treat didn't want the fluffy horned one to leave he made a good perch, but it also didn't want to be prodded again. So it simply kept its distance and chirped again in the safety of its master's presence at West.

Enjoy tha rest 'a yer evenin' ya smart mouthed bird demon. Tilting her head, the end of her sentence was spoken quietly and she faked at innocent expression. If a vein visibly was marked on her forehead, she tried to mask her urge to pop him another one with a wide smile. Since they were being so civil and all.

"You too... kit-- Levi." There. He was totally taking the high road. He was the better person. It almost made him feel good about this whole disaster.

West huffed out a brief snarl. No, it didn't. It stung that he had lost yet again, even if her sporadic irritation and anger still felt pretty damn good. He glared at the friendly treat on the ghoul's shoulder, rolling his eyes before noisily stomping out of her room.

Next time he would get her. He would figure out a way to best this ghoul if it killed him trying.

That was a bit of a surprise. No witty comeback in return? She'd come to expect it of him, lacking that decency and all. She was halfly still amazed that the events had gone as they did. Usually when a boil tried to get back at her, he did it in public among other boils so they'd be able to claim the fame of a win to their peers often backfiring in their faces after she pummeled them.

West chose to play her at her own game; the use of trickery and wits (or her understanding of the two). That had to say something of his intent. Surely, he had the same need to fight in public as the other boils, but this act showed he had a sort of pride aside from that. He wanted to prove he was the better one for himself. Respect had to be given when it was due; he had to have a lot of some guts to do what he did. Recalling her dream then, she simply left the doorway wide open after watching him for a moment, then settled Sweets on the ledge by her bed, curling back into her covers. After that, the tatzel was hoping to finish all them dream boils off for good.

Did these events stop her from leaving her door open? Obviously not. Clothes could be remade and bought. The boil had sworn to make amends and she believed him. She'd get him to take back his words yet.
