SunshineRank: Private Squad: None Active Mission: Getting Some Answers SunshineSunshine didn’t like the fact that Thanatos had mentioned he knew more about her than he let on. She felt the hairs on the back of her neck and arms stand up in apprehension. She knew nothing of this Thanatos man, and he knew much of her even though she did well to cover her tracks. Her apprehensive thoughts were cut short by a rumbling sound that she knew all too well. Taking Thanatos’s orders, she and the others raced for the stables. Six mounted a black stallion, and the woman with the rifle mounted the mare she had placed Walker across from. Sticking her foot in the stirrup of Walker’s saddle while he was still in his stall, the pair galloped after the other two. Closing her eyes as she rode, Sunshine trusted Walker to follow the others as she focused. Opening her left eye only, she continued to ride on; Walker finally catching up to the others. As they neared the ridge, she pulled the Broken-Justice from its spot on her hip. The other woman mentioned as they rode that the attackers would be prepared. Closer than ever before, Sunshine closed her eyes once more and opened her right this time. With Sunshine’s thermal imaging eye she would hopefully see them, before they saw her and her group. She called out to the others letting them know about her advantage, and although she nearly shouted so that they could hear her, her voice was ever still deadpan, “I will be able to see them, long before you two.” XP: Gold:

Thanatos arrived back at the hotel. He jumped off Hypnos and secured his horse to a hitching post outside. He leaned back against the wall, knowing he would be waiting for a bit. He reached into his coat and removed his revolver from its holster and began twirling it in his hand back and forth. It was an action he always found himself doing when he stood idle. He could never keep his hands still; if it wasn't his gun, it was cards, if it wasn't cards it was a pencil.

SixRank: Private Squad:Tabitha: Private Sunshine: Private Active Mission:Getting Some Answers ProfileJust after the bandit's failed escape attempt Six told Tabitha "The Boneshredder was just to make sure you guys knew I was done. Just in case the scream wasn't enough. Didn't want to get shot after going through all that after all," and followed after Sunshine. Diablo quickly caught up to Sunshine and her horse, but Six made sure to be just behind and to the right of them in the off chance the bandit somehow tried to escape. It wasn't long before they were once again in New Jericho, seated on their horses in front of the motel. Seeing a spot to tie up Diablo next to a white horse, Six dismounted and did just that. He then turned to Thanatos, waiting for the others to dismount and join him before simply saying "Mission accomplished."Xp: Gold:

Tabitha CardellRank: Private Squad: Sunshine - Private, Six - Private Active Mission: Getting Some Answers Tabitha CardellTabitha watched the bandit's failed escape attempt with a mixture of disgust and pity. She could understand why the woman had at least tried, of course. She herself would have tried to escape her own capture if she hadn't been knocked unconscious first. Maybe that's what they should've done with this bandit... Still, as one of the captors, it was annoying to watch a prisoner try to escape on a comrade's horse. At least Sunshine's horse appeared to be as well-trained, if not more so, than Dawn. In any case, Sunshine finally ordered her horse to move, and Tabitha and Six were not too far behind her. All the ride back though, Tabitha couldn't help but think that Sunshine looked exceptionally grim. Looks like she'd like to slice this woman into tiny pieces, and I don't blame her. Didn't get much action this run. I think we owe her first kill or something next time. That was, of course, if the best plan of action provided for such a thing, but Tabitha would do her damnedest to make sure Sunshine got something next time around. It may have been a very callous train of thought considering they were returning after a successful mission - predetermining who would get to do the killing on the next one - but Tabitha was feeling a little bitter towards the bandit populace in general. She had two scores to settle with them now and all the more reason to want them dead. This was why she was a little disappointed that Six hadn't actually been using his Boneshredder to make mincemeat of one of the bastards. This was also why she hoped she'd get the chance to go back to Sanctuary one day and return the favor the bandits had not-so-kindly bestowed upon her. The ride back seemed much shorter than the ride out, as the trio reached New Jericho sooner than Tabitha was expecting. I guess time flies when you're thinking of slaughter. Thanatos was waiting for them outside Al's Motel, doing something fancy with his gun. Impatient? Just a guess. Six dismounted from his horse, and Tabitha followed suit. She would've offered to help Sunshine with the prisoner, but she had a feeling the mercenary had things covered. Instead, she tied Dawn to a hitching post alongside Six's black stallion and Thanatos' white horse while Six informed Thanatos that their mission had been completed. XP: Gold:

SunshineRank: Private Squad: Six | Tabitha Active Mission: Getting Some Answers SunshineAs they rode back to the city, everyone was silent besides the hostage’s whimpering. Sunshine couldn’t help but smirk when Walker’s head ducked down low as he went on the bit and pulled the reins taut. The cyber-horse’s strides became longer and more graceful as he did so, but the woman began to lean forward to alleviate the pain it caused. Grabbing the reins in one hand Sunshine pulled the woman back to sit up straight, causing her to scream. The shrill sound caused Walker’s head to snap back up as he lost his concentration. Sunshine looked displeased and disappointed as she spoke emotionlessly, “Sit back unless you want to fall off, and I assure you being dragged back at this speed will be much more painful.”Upon reaching New Jericho, Sunshine and the others slowed. Moving through the streets, she followed behind the others, to which the competitive and impatient Walker was displeased. The cyber-horse showed its displeasure by bobbing his head and snorting, and the action pulled on the reins and caused the hostage to yelp once more. Sunshine was unimpressed by this woman’s pain tolerance, and wondered if she were new and that’s why she was behaving in such an unprofessional manner. Arriving at the hotel with Six and Tabitha—and the unwanted, unsuccessful horse stealer—Sunshine noticed Thanatos doing some fancy twirling with his gun. She was slightly impressed, but it was vastly overshadowed by her anger towards the hostage. Remembering the hostage sitting before her, Sunshine leaned forward and untied the woman’s hands roughly. She then in an instant, threw the woman from the saddle and onto the ground, where she lay in shock and confusion. Sunshine then dismounted from the saddle and came gracefully onto the ground. Remembering her right eye was still in thermal, she switched eyes briefly to get a better look around. There were people she hadn’t noticed earlier on the roof and almost no one on the streets. Deciding for certain that they hadn’t been followed, Sunshine willed her right eye’s vision to return to normal. Hearing Six tell Thanatos that the mission was a success, Sunshine couldn’t help but let a frown appear on her face as she grabbed the woman’s elbow and threw her once more in the man’s direction; making her land about three feet away from the giant. No longer interested in the woman, Sunshine turned and tethered Walker to the post with the other horses and gave him another pat on the shoulder. He snorted back at her and twitched his ears as he appreciated that his master tied him next to the pretty mare. Sunshine then turned back to the others, and waited for something to happen. ‘Something tells me, this Thanatos shows no mercy for even women when they stand in his way.’ XP: Gold:

Rank: S+ CommanderSquad: NoneCurrent Mission: N/AActual RPing:
Thanatos began to hear the sounds of a group of horses making their way to his position.
“That was fast.” He thought to himself.
Well these new recruits are well worth the money. He waited until they reached his position and reached into his coat to procure three small pouches with coins in them. Six came forth first to inform him the mission was complete. Sunshine dismounted with the prisoner and threw the girl to Thanatos’ feet. He handed the recruits their coins.
“Tomorrow well set up your bank accounts so you can deposit coins and charge rather than risk carrying large amounts of money with you.” Thanatos informed them.
Thanatos took a deep breath and crawled inside himself. His cheery grin vanished and the air became almost electric around him. Thanatos stared at the small girl in front of him.
“I am going to ask you some questions and you will answer them.” Thanatos said as he orbited around her in a slow walk.
“I won’t tell you anything.” The girl shot back in a stern tone.
“Ok here is how this works…” Thanatos started, and then paused as he unsheathed his katana while simultaneously twirling his gun then holstering it. He brought his katana’s tip down through the girl’s bad hand; nailing it into the dried earth underneath. The hostage began screaming in agony and tears rolled down her face a blood trickled from the wound into the baked dirt. “…You are gonna tell me where you got this kind of hardware. The only rocket launcher manufacturer in the area is Pete, and he hates you bandits more than I do. So where are you getting the new weaponry from? ” Thanatos finished now that the girl’s screams had melted into whimpers.
“I…I can’t tell you. Victor will kill me.” The girl answered
“Kill you? b***h I will kill you! I’ll just enjoy it less.” Thanatos shot back.
The girl remained silent except for her occasional whimper. Thanatos was growing impatient with the prisoner’s difficulty. He reached down and pull the katana out of her wound and reached down grabbed her with one hand around the neck. He lifted her up off the ground until her feet were kicking and she was grabbing Thanatos hand trying to break his iron grip. Thanatos waited until she started to go limp and spun around quickly before launching just over the head of Six. She flew through the air about twenty feet before crashing down to the dried dirt with a thud. Thanatos started walking over towards her; ignoring the eyes trained on him for the moment. The girl rolled over and began coughing up the dirt she has just eaten. Her face and arms were scratched up from face planting. She tried to swirm away but Thanatos once again grabbed her with his free hand by her vest and brought her eye level to him.
“You know I could do this all night. You wanna talk yet?” Thanatos asked the frightened girl- his tone emotionless.
“Ok…I’ll tell you want you want to know. Please…. Please stop hurting me.” The girl answered in a soft, defeated tone.
“Now we are making progress.” Thanatos said with a smirk as he dropped her to the ground.
“Sergey’s scouting party came across a small one story steel building in the outskirts of this town. Upon breaking into it they found it’s actually a vast armory left over from World War III. It has two floors below ground level with weapons stored away in hermetically sealed rooms. It’s located about 5 miles southeast of this town. You can’t miss it. Now that I told you everything I know…What becomes of me?” The girl asked after answering his questions.
“Well if I let you go back to Victor he will torture you for the information you just told me. Then execute you by fitting you with a tire around your chest with a flammable material inside and igniting it. If you just go off into the wild you’ll probably be shot by a townsfolk from Sanctuary. If you stay here the mayor is gonna toss a rope around your neck and string you up until your eyeballs pop out and your legs stop wiggling. I guess you’re only option is you can work for me.” Thanatos answered.
“Work for you?” The girl said in a shocked tone
“Your ears don’t overlap do they? Yes work for me. Take of your vest and give it to me. Walking around with bandit colors are not that smart in this town. Go to the hospital and get that hole fixed and your wrist looked at. Tell the doctors to put it on my tab. They’ll know you either know me or have a death wish. I’ll visit you later.”
“Why the kindness? Why trust me?” The girl asked as she took off her vest revealing a dirt and blood stained white sleeveless shirt. “I am short on men. I need everyone I can’t get and I know you don’t have the gall to try anything stupid.” Thanatos answered.
As the girl headed off he called his troops in the bar to continue their drinks while they come up with a plan to deal with this armory.

SixRank: Private Squad:Tabitha: Private Sunshine: Private Active Mission:N/A ProfileSix just stood there while Thanatos 'interrogated' the female bandit, though he did move to his right when he threw her over his head. His eyes, and probably Sunshine's and Tabitha's as well, followed Thanatos as he calmly walked over to where she had landed. Threatening her with a full night of this, he was finally able to force her to tell them what she knew. "An armory from the old war? Just like the lab. Seems the past keeps coming back to bite us in the a**." Six thought to himself. Then his eyes widened slightly as Thanatos offered the girl a job. He hadn't really known if he was going to kill her or not, but even if he let her live he hadn't expected him to hire her. As Thanatos sent her off to the hospital and told them to head inside, Six thought about what he had just witnessed. "He didn't seem to flince at all. I had no qualms about having to torture her, but I would have at least shown hesitation. Its one thing to kill in a fight, but its another thing entirely to kill someone who can't defend themselves. And yet, he could have done alot worse to her than what he did, of course he might only have stopped at what he did because she broke. I can't quite tell if he's as cold and uncaring as he seems, but I'd feel alot better knowing he had hesitated at least a little." Six wanted to get back at the people, though he used the term loosely, that had taken his memory sure, but he didn't want to work for someone who was just as bad to do it. Thanatos might be protecting New Jericho, but he'd seen what could happen when someone was forced to kill to survive. Experiments that had been fine and human at first had become monsterous and insane after being forced to kill in the makeshift arena meant to test their skills. Hopefully Thanatos wasn't going down that same path toward insanity. As the four of them returned to their table, Six took his previous seat across from Thanatos and didn't touch his drink. Maybe he was just paranoid but it was always better to be safe than sorry. "So, the bandits have an armory. That leaves us with two options doesn't it? Destroy it or sieze it for New Jericho's own use. Destroying it would be simpler, but I don't know how well armed whatever amounts to the gaurdsmen here are." Looking at Thanatos, who was supposed to be the leader, Six nodded his head slightly before saying "My apologies, the majority of what memories they left me are about combat and strategy. It just kind of came out."Xp:10 Gold:100

Tabitha CardellRank: Private Squad: Sunshine - Private, Six - Private Active Mission: N/A Tabitha CardellTabitha watched with no slight satisfaction as Sunshine threw the bandit off her horse. A dark smile could even be seen playing across her features for the briefest of moments. Now the prisoner would be in the hands of Thanatos, and surely, justice would finally be served. When the giant himself handed his three new recruits their bags of gold, she took hers and pocketed it quickly, but the majority of her focus was on Thanatos and the bandit. As Thanatos prepared himself for the ensuing interrogation, an electrifying change seemed to come over him, and a shudder ran down Tabitha's spine. As much as she was looking forward to this next part, she was glad that she wasn't on the receiving end of this man's deadly gaze. The bandit did alright at first, but if Thanatos had appeared impatient before, he definitely appeared to be so now as he went straight for the katana and nailed the bandit's bad hand into the ground. There would be no beating around the bush in this interrogation. He wanted answers, and he wanted them now. The bandit still would not talk after Thanatos threatened death on her, and Tabitha had to give the girl some credit, if only because she was lasting longer than the strawberry blonde had predicted. The giant's next move would end it all however as he threw the girl over Six's head and she decided to talk. Not that she had been in the same kind of situation herself, but Tabitha rather hoped she herself could last longer in an interrogation... She wasn't volunteering to test that theory however. So preoccupied was Tabitha with her train of thought that she almost missed what the girl had to say. An armory left over from World War III? Found by Sergey, no less? At the mere thought of the man who was the real reason behind Sanctuary's ultimate demise, Tabitha clenched her jaw tightly. It was pretty much an involuntary reaction by now. Great. Now that monster can wreak even more havoc and at a greater range than before. Just perfect. As for the fate of the bandit girl... it was safe to say that Tabitha was almost as shocked as the bandit, if not more so, to hear that Thanatos was not only going to let her live but was even offering her a job. This was twice tonight she'd been denied the death she thought this scum so rightly deserved. She tried to contain the anger that was boiling up inside her, not wishing to start an argument with her new boss before her first day of employment had even passed, but she just couldn't understand it. She couldn't understand why he was doing this. Had she voiced her thoughts aloud, the others might have thought her to be a monster considering the bloodlust that burned in her eyes and the hatred that would definitely have resonated in her voice. No, better to just keep her thoughts to herself. Better to fume silently for now and head back into the bar after Thanatos and the other two recruits. Taking advantage of one of the perks stipulated in the contract Thanatos had handed to Tabitha and the others, she ordered a glass of water with ice at the bar before sitting down in the same seat at Thanatos' table as she'd taken before. Her glass of rum remained untouched, besides that one sip she'd taken, and Tabitha pushed it into the middle of the table as Al served her the icy water. It was up for grabs now, as long as people weren't afraid of a few germs. Leaning back in her seat, she took several long, slow sips from her frosted glass while Six gave his opinion on the armory matter. His logic seemed sound, and she didn't think Thanatos would mind that he had spoken up. Although, what had he meant by 'The memories they left me'? Well... didn't Thanatos say earlier that he was offering us the chance to get back at those who had taken away our friends and family? And those who had taken someone's mind away? He must've been talking about Six... but why would anyone take away another person's memory? As far as she could remember, she hadn't heard anything that helped make sense of Six's situation. All she knew was that it would not do to let Sergey take all of this weaponry for himself. That would only mean death and destruction on a much grander scale than he was already capable of causing, so Six's suggestions that they either destroy the armory or take it for themselves made sense. SunshineRank: Private Squad: Six | Tabitha Active Mission: None SunshineSunshine continued to stare at Thanatos after she threw the female bandit at his feet. She watched as his more or less carefree demeanor turned into one that matched her own: cold, uncaring, and willing to do anything to get what she wanted. As the woman’s hand was pinned to the earth by Thanatos’s blade, Sunshine felt nothing. Pity was long since gone from her for anyone; especially those who tried to steal from her. Sunshine watched with an emotionless face as Thanatos threw the woman over Six’s head when she refused to give him answers. When the woman finally broke, she explained that her leader had found an armory from World War III. Sunshine wondered if anything inside would be worth lifting for her own personal use. Upon hearing Thanatos offer the woman a job, Sunshine’s eyes widened in anger. Emotions of absolute rage were clearly written on her facial features—the first emotions she had shown in a long time—as she let out a furious shout, “You have got to be shittin me!”Sunshine’s arm flung out and struck the horse hitch as she continued, “Afta she blows up the town! You take ‘er in like she’s some kinda victim!” Almost as if a switch had been flipped Sunshine’s demeanor returned to her expressionless norm. Closing her eyes, and then reopening them slowly with a long sigh she spoke deadpan, “Its you’re decision, do as you feel is right.” She paused and spoke her version of an apology, “The outburst was unnecessary.”She followed the others inside, and sat down at the table they had previously occupied. However Sunshine was still seething as she polished off her rum and took the one that Anomino… Tabitha put in the middle. Taking a sip, Sunshine thought to herself, ‘I definitely need it.’ XP: 10 Gold: 100

Thanatos watched everyone’s response- both verbally and physically. He could tell from their facial expressions what was on their mind. Six thought he was a raging psychopath and Tabitha and Sunshine were furious. Sunshine made this abundantly clear. In the end though they all kept quiet and followed his orders.
“Good.” He thought to himself. “No matter how insane my orders seem, or how much they get under their skin, they followed me. Now I have a group I can trust. This means I can inflict infinitely more damage on Victor and his scum.” This thought brought a grin to the giant’s face.
Upon reentering the bar he waited until everyone else took their seat and then joined his new crew. Thanatos listened to Six give his opinion on the matter. Thanatos relaxed for a couple seconds and returned to his normal self before opening his mouth. “Ok let’s go down the line here. I know all of you are displeased with my handling of this matter. I assure you I am more than capable of handling this situation. My main reason for doing what I did was to piss you off. I wanted to get under your skin and push your buttons. I wanted you to say ’What an incompetent fool!’ under your breaths. I also wanted to make sure I can trust each of you to follow my orders, no matter how asinine they may seem. I am proud to say you passed the test. Now Six about your ideas. I am glad to hear what you have to say. Please all of you speak your mind as you need to. I will decide what to do but that doesn’t mean your opinion will fall on deaf ears.”
Thanatos took a shot of whiskey and continued in a hushed tone so no one sitting beyond the table could hear him. “Because of the lack of man power to keep the armory safely in our hands we will be destroying it. I am going to implement some indirect strategy here. First we need to get more information on this armory. I will look into this tomorrow after I have set up your bank accounts. I’ll take care of this and have them ready for you around dawn.”
Thanatos paused to take another shot of his whiskey. “I would like to know each of you better. I figured we can use this time to shoot the s**t before we pass out. Once you are tired go see Al and he will give you a room key. Your rooms will have a bedroom and separate bathroom with a bathtub, shower, toilet and sink. Now I am done talking and I open the floor to you.”

Kayla had just handed in her most recent catch to the sheriff's office when she returned to her room in the local motel and found a letter addressed to her on the pillow. She immediately scanned the room for breaches or signs of disturbance, but the only sign that someone had entered her room was the letter. She picked it up, and gave it a quick examination before her curiosity got the better of her and she opened it.
Kayla scanned the letter to find that some man by the name of Thanatos observed she had potential and she should meet him at the bar in Al’s Motel in New Jericho. It was vague in the sense of suspiciousness, but it peaked her curiosity, overruling her sense of not trusting the mysterious letter laid out on her pillow after she left the door locked. Kayla had settled her affairs with the sheriff, collected her payment, and made her way to New Jericho.
With the help of Black Jack, her faithful cyber horse, she reached the town quickly. As she got closer to the outskirts she saw remnants of a recent attack on the town. "This is getting more curious by the minute, eh Black Jack?" Black Jack merely gave a snort in response. Kayla continued on her way and searched the various establishment signs for Al's Motel. Kayla tethered Black Jack on one of the posts outside the motel and proceeded to the entrance. A quick survey of its guests told her this town had seen hard times. Its occupants looked tired, too drunk to stay awake, and worn out. She walked to the bar tender who she presumed to be Al. "The name is Kayla, I'm looking for Thanatos. Can you point me to where I might find him?" The bar keeper simply grinned and nodded in the direction of a corner table where four people sat. She thanked the bar tender and looked at the table where one of the biggest men she had ever seen sat. He was accompanied by three other people. She wondered if they worked for Thanatos as well.
She observed that one of the females was avoiding the drink in front of her. The female seemed to be wearing a man’s dark brown jacket that looked slightly too big on her. Next to her was another female who looked like the type of person Kayla wouldn’t want to mess with on her best of days. Although it appeared that something the big guy had said lit a fuse, because Kayla could almost see the fumes resonating from her. Last at the table was a man who looked like a blank slate, as if he had no history. All three carrying various weapons of multiple caliber. What an interesting group of people I’m getting myself involved with.” Kayla thought to herself. She made her way over to the table as the overly large man had finished talking. “My name is Kayla, I received a letter from Thanatos asking me to come here. Which one of you is Thantos? "

Once Thanatos was done talking, Six decided to take advantage of the perks of his new job, getting up and walking over to Al. He ordered chicken with corn and potatoes, as well as a cup of water, before sitting back down at the table with the others. Not longer after he rejoined the group a woman walked into the bar and asked Al something before coming over to their table and asking which one of them was Thanatos. "Another one? How many people did Thanatos find to hire?" Six thought to himself. Out loud he said "He's Thanatos," nodding across the table at him before noticing Al put his food and drink on the bar. He got out of his chair and retrieved it, sitting back down and taking a gulp of water before starting on his food. He couldn't really tell the others much, though if they really wanted to know about him then he'd tell them about the lab. Xp: Gold:

“My name is Kayla, I received a letter from Thanatos asking me to come here. Which one of you is Thantos?" the girl inquired
"He's Thanatos," Six replied pointing at him.
Thanatos stood up and approached the girl staring down at her.
“Good to see you made it. Here is a paper that will mention a list of benefits for working for me. Take a seat and read this over.” He said as he reached in his coat and handed her a paper that had the rank and pay system on it.
He offered her his seat and went to another table to grab a spare chair from one of the other tables before returning to the group.

Tabitha CardellRank: Private Squad: Sunshine - Private, Six - Private Active Mission: N/A Tabitha CardellShould've guessed. The smallest of smiles appeared on Tabitha's face as Sunshine took the rum she'd left in the middle of the table, though she avoided turning to look directly at the mercenary like she had done when they had sat around the table last time. It wasn't that the strawberry-blonde was afraid that Sunshine would do anything; she just figured that the usually deadpan young woman would prefer to cool down on her own without any unwanted attention. That's the way Tabitha preferred it after making any kind of outburst, and boy had Sunshine let loose earlier. And rightly so. What Tabitha had done her best to keep bottled up Sunshine had voiced rather effectively. At least one other person had been outraged by Thanatos' actions. Now of course, Sunshine looked as deadpan as ever, but that didn't mean that her emotions matched her exterior. Once even Thanatos had taken a moment to relax again though, the ragtag group of recruits finally got an explanation regarding why Thanatos had done what he'd done. It had all been a test. Wonderful. Tabitha wasn't sure if the fact that they all passed meant that they could all be considered certifiably insane or not, but Thanatos seemed plenty pleased. And as long as the giant is happy, I suppose that's alright for now. Thanatos even encouraged them all to speak their mind on the matter of the armory while understandably emphasizing that he had the last say. Although it seemed like he already had some sort of plan in mind; he was just looking for reasonable ways to flesh it out, perhaps. Meanwhile, Thanatos was still explaining how he'd set up all their bank accounts and such. Did this man ever sleep? As for asking all of them to share a little bit about themselves... she really wasn't in the mood to spill her life story, and with Six missing at least some of his memory and Sunshine's likely state of still-pissed-off, she didn't think anyone else would really be up for sharing much either. To at least Thanatos and Sunshine, her own story probably wouldn't have been very exciting anyway, and with certain events - recent events - being too painful to talk about just now, there'd be a few awkward chunks missing. Deciding to just take another sip of her water, Tabitha would ignore Thanatos' opening the floor to them and instead keep her mind on the problem of the armory. It was something she'd prefer to sit on for a little longer before voicing an opinion. Seeing as how the armory had been found by Sergey's men, it was likely that they'd be facing bandits from Sanctuary, since that was where Sergey was comfortably holed up. That didn't necessarily mean her knowledge of the area would be needed, but it might be of use, depending on where exactly the armory was. By this time, Six had gotten up and returned to the table, presumably to do as she'd done and take advantage of the perks of their new job: free grub. Then the sound of a new voice caused Tabitha to glance up. A young woman, who apparently went by the name of Kayla, was asking for Thanatos. Another recruit, huh? I wonder how many notes he handed out. The three of us must've been pretty darn close to have gotten here when we did. Wondering how many other stragglers might find their way in here over the next few days, Tabitha scooted her chair over a little so that Thanatos would be able to fit another chair comfortably at the table. Around the same time as the girl's arrival, Six's food was done, and as the young man returned to the table with it, Tabitha couldn't help thinking that he'd made a very smart decision to get food now. By her calculations, the last time she'd had a decent meal was before her last failed vigilante mission, which was far too long ago for her liking. Granted, she always had some portable snacks in Dawn's saddlebags, but it wasn't the same. Once everyone had sat down and was comfortable, Tabitha cleared her throat and looked over at Thanatos. "I probably don't have much to offer, but this is what I figure. Sergey might not notice if his bandits don't come back from bombing New Jericho until a bit later, but by tomorrow, someone will certainly take notice. At that point, they'll either figure that all three were killed or at least one was captured. If they're smart, and believe me they are, they'll know that the location of the armory is therefore compromised, and if they don't at least start a transfer of all the weaponry to a safer location, security around the armory itself will definitely be tighter by the time we get there."Taking another sip of her water, Tabitha backtracked a little in her train of thought. Something had occurred to her while she had spoken. "Come to think of it, we don't even know if the bandit trio was ordered to attack New Jericho or if they just did that of their own volition." That being the case, the still-living bandit captive still had some purpose after all, if only to find out the reason for the attack. "It's always good to assume the worst, but we should ask the captive just to be on the safe side. Although either way, someone will notice their absence eventually..."Trailing off, Tabitha sat back in her chair and finished off her glass of water, having spoken her piece. So far, the most she had talked to any of those assembled had been in regards to planning: a few sentences on the way to the ridge, and that little tangent just now. That was probably the most they'd ever get out of her at this rate. Sighing tiredly and rubbing her eyes, Tabitha added a soft, "As soon as we're done planning and whatnot, I'll be excusing myself for the evening." As good as Six's meal looked and smelled though, Tabitha wasn't likely to get something for herself. She had met and been forced to trust and work with more new people than she was used to in a short span of time, and she was tired. She just needed some time to think and digest everything that had happened in the past few days. XP: Gold:

SunshineRank: Private Squad: Six | Tabitha Active Mission: SunshineSunshine refrained from frowning when she heard that Thanatos had wanted her to react. This man bothered her greatly, the fact that he knew anything about her bothered her the most. When he spoke that they should get to know each other, she thought to herself, ‘As if any of us are going to loose information like that to a man we just met. Employer or not.’ A small silence followed before another woman walked over to the group’s table asking for Thanatos. Sunshine couldn’t help but wonder how many people would show up to work under this psychotic man’s rule. Sunshine herself didn’t care, she had worked for various questionable persons before, but the one thing that made her uneasy was the fact that this gig seemed a lot more permanent. The woman introduced herself as Kayla, and as she did, Thanatos brought up a chair for her to sit on. Sunshine noticed the woman eyeing her warily, but did nothing but send a dead look back at her. As Anomino… Tabitha began speaking of a man named Sergey once again. Sunshine couldn’t help but think that she had heard the name before. Scanning through the names of her previous employers, she did remember a large man—around the same size as Thanatos. His name had been Sergey, and he had been an ugly brute. Deciding to voice this, she spoke out in her usual deadpan, “I’ve worked for a Sergey. He paid well, and always made my mercenary jobs more interesting. The man was a big, ugly thing though.”Sunshine waited for any sort of feedback, as she took a sip of her stolen alcohol and thought to herself, ‘An interesting turn of events this is. Will I be considered the enemy now?’ XP: Gold:
