Naru chuckled, missing her brief lack of motion. "If I have kits, I'd probably spoil them to death." He did notice she had gotten a little distracted though, and shot her a questioning glance. When she went on, he dropped it, but watched her a bit more closely.
"Me? I don't need much help but I wouldn't mind company." He said, knowing full well he was 'misunderstanding' her question. "I don't do much of anything any more. The ennui is getting to me." He grinned

"That wasn't what I..." She trailed off though, deciding to go along. Anyway, what else could she do? Sit there in a bored fashion? Without Xavier who did she know that she could spend time with other than Naru? Besides, he wasn't to annoying.
"Then I suppose we should find something to interest you with?" She asked him, clicking her tongue. "What do you like? Other than rescuing damsels."

Naru tilted his head a little and sent Lilith a sheepish grin. "You know? I'm not sure. As a kit I was always playing with Csistri: tag, hide and seek, you name it, we played it. As an adult...I haven't really tried much. I have explored quite a few places though, and I've enjoyed doing that." He paused and thought of all the places he's been.
"Do you like caves? Not shallow den-type caves, but deep, dark, dank caves full of bats? Cause I know one that has all that...but also this really pretty lagoon." The orange male offered.

Scowling briefly she thought it over. Caves. Didn't sound fun at all. However, climbing did. She wanted to climb, that was for sure. Eying him she clicked her tongue, nodding. "Sure." She trusted him not to attack her in the cave, or molest her. He was a good fox which usually she didn't like to spend to much time around. Naru was a little different. He was amusing at least.
Flicking her tail towards his she allowed it to drag across his hip. "Only if you promise to get me out before dark." She teased, pretending to give an innocent face. "Daddy may get mad." Chuckling softly she nudged him, stretched, and tested her paw that had gotten stuck. All good.

Naru brightened when she agreed to go with him and out right laughed when she said she'd have to be in before dark. "Alright, little missy, I'll make sure to have you back before bed time. Promise." Naru replied, hopping up from his prone position and wagging his tail enthusiastically. He trotted over, nudged her shoulder lightly, and padded off a few paces, looking over his shoulder at the vixen.
"It's this way, come on, Lilith." He invited, smiling back at the horned fox with excitement.

Nudged by the male, Lilith glanced over and nodded, following after him with a slight smirk. Hm. She was never the most graceful creature, she wondered how many bruises she'd have once she left the cave. However, she wasn't one to back down, ever, and would pursue after the male.
"Maybe breaking the rules wouldn't be to bad." She added, tail flicking back and forth. Hell, if she even had a dad to respond to she still would probably break the rules.

"Breaking the rules is fun so long as no one gets hurt. It get's pretty dark in those caves, though. You aren't afraid of the dark...are you?" Naru teased happily. The caves weren't too far away, but there was enough time to get to know each other a little better. Naru already liked Lilith, but he didn't really know too much about her.
She didn't know much about him either so, maybe she'd want to ask him some things. Or maybe not. That was the beauty of converstaion. You could learn things or simply talk about nothing for hours.

"Of course not." She chirped back, tail flicking side to side. "The dark should be scared of me." With this she dragged her tail across Naru's side, grinning at him briefly before slipping into the darkness. Her bracelet clinked to let Naru know where she was, silencing when she turned to wait for him.
"Naru." She called out, ears flicking. "Do you belong to a tribe?"

"Good, it's no fun if you're afraid." he replied, grinning when she brushed passed him into the cave. He followed after her, keeping track of her through her bracelet and her quiet breathing. It would take some time before their eyes became adjusted, though once that happened, they'd be able to navigate fairly well.
"A tribe? No, not me. How about you? Do you have a tribe?" he asked. Naru blinked and realized that he was beginning to be able to see well enough to start towards his lagoon. Naru bumped his shoulder into Lillith's softly before turning down a path.

With a lazy roll of her shoulders, Lilith peered into the darkness. "I guess." She mumbled back, shaking her head. "Though, I'll probably leave it before it becomes official. I'm not one to like large groups, I have no idea why I joined it in the first place." Head tilting back, she shook herself off as a cold breeze brushed into the cave.
When Naru brushed against her she clicked her tongue, following his path. Absently, she wondered what the hell made her so social today. First Xavier, now Naru. Though, Naru was more interesting, in her opinion~

"You don't know why you joined a tribe? I think I would want to put a lot of thought into that, if it were me. Do you have friends in the tribe?" He asked, coming to a fork in the cave and taking a left. "Take a left here, Lilith, can you still see me?" He asked. Naru definitely did not want to lose his companion in these caves.
The male was happy to have a friend with him today. He had been awfully lonely without Csistri, and he missed her company. Lilith was fun too, though, and Naru was enjoying himself very much. He couldn't wait to show her his lagoon.

"Not a single friend." She shrugged, ear flicking as she turned left. "Yea, barely." The vixen kept her paws busy, eyes having to squint to keep up with his dark form that was slowly become more obscured as they traveled.
"Perhaps I should have given it thought. But, I don't have anything else to do with my life. I don't have a purpose or even a family, I just went for it." Clicking her tongue, she nearly tripped over a rock, letting out a faint growl. "I just wanted to see what it was like to be with others."

Naru slowed down enough so that he could tap Lilith's shoulder with his tail with every other step. It was a way to keep in physical touch as the cave got darker. Naru knew where he was going since he had traveled that way countless times, but Lilith hadn't. Naru hadn't really thought that through very well.
"Wow. You're very brave, Lilith; I don't think I could just wander into a tribe where I don't know anybody. I'd want to join a tribe either with a friend or one where a friend has already joined." The male replied, frowning slightly...not that anyone could see it. "The lagoon isn't much further. There's a left turn coming up, then it should start to brighten up again."

She was startled when he spoke. Brave? Blinking, the vixen almost jumped when his tail touched her. She had gotten used to it, and grateful, however the second she had zoned out the movement had become forgotten. Blinking, the vixen peered at the darkness, trying to make out something.
"Am I? I always thought I was just a brat." She muttered, tail flicking gently. Nodding when he spoke again, the vixen nipped his tail playfully when it touched her again. "Don't get us stuck in a pit. It'd be awful to die right before we reach the lagoon."

Naru chuckled, the sound reverberating softly through the cave. "Are they mutually exclusive? You can't be a brave brat?" He teased, chuckling again when he felt her teeth graze his tail. "No pits on this trail. It's longer, but safer. The short cut is the dangerous one. I think it's mandatory for shortcuts to be dangerous." The male said, a smile in his voice.
The male felt the sudden space to his left and turned into the passageway, dragging his tail agains Lilith's shoulder. "Here's the turn. You should start to gradually get your sight back." He said, barely making out a dim glow further ahead.
