Dante nodded. "Thats a good idea. In fact I was on my way to do that when you... well you know..." He didn't really wan to say out right that she crashed. She could be sensitive about that kind of thing. He was sure that no one wanted to be reminded that they crashed. He sure didn't. "We could keep going until we see or hear a river. if we don't find one we could always look for shelter till the fog lifts up."

“I bit the dust in a less than graceful way?” She looked at Dante trying very hard not to laugh. She was still physically sore but after everything that had been going on in her life one thing she learned was how to laugh at herself. She could just imagine that darn pain in the tail deava mocking her. “To be fair I do have a good excuse to crash in this weather.” She was feeling just a bit smug that Dante agreed with her plan and was smart enough to figure out a solution too. He was handsome and smart.

"Mm...." He couldn't believe what she had just said. Did she just mock herself? She did. With that comment he couldn't help but laugh at what she had said. "Yes well... I would have just said crash..." He chuckled. "You sure put it in a funnier way though. I also agree... you did have a vary good reason to crash. I'm actually vary impressed you got this far with out crashing." He smiled. "I crashed not long after I entered the fog."

Hael shook her head. “What can I say? A flop is a flop no matter what the reason, and no matter what other name you call it.” She blinked when he said he first crashed when he got into the fog. Remembering back she had to blush. “Um well.. I was up quite high and then, and well. I wasn’t ..” she looked away into the fog her voice going quieter. “paying all that much attention to where I was flying until it was too late.” She looked back at Dante and make a silly face sticking out her tongue “So I guess we’re phims of a feather. No wonder I like you. ”

Dante couldn't help but laugh. He was glad that the female had crashed. he wasn't alone anymore and thats the way he liked it. When he stopped laughing and looked at her he could tell she was thinking back to when she had crashed. If her looking back in the fog wasn't enough of an indicator. Smiling he chuckled when she stuck her tongue at him. "I guess we are... and if I may say... I like you as well." He nodded to her.

Hael smiled. “Well it is nice to be liked. Especially since there is no one else to help out here in the middle of this place.. I’d hate to be stuck with someone who hated me.” She thought of Diemos and gave a wary mental laugh. Still why worry about that mean deava when she had a handsome phim next to her? “So shall we start off in a direction?” She gestured off in a direction. Hael really didn’t know what way she go.

"Yeah... tell me about it..." He sighed. "One time I had traveled into a valley and met this rather annoying fox. I don't remember her name but boy we did not like etch other at all... and of couse we had decided to travel together because we were going the same way. This was before we found out we pretty much hatted etch others guts." He chuckled remembering back to that time. "She called me names I didn't even know existed." Looking back over at her nodded. "Yeah heading out might be a good idea." He followed her.

Hael’s heart stopped while listening to Dante’s tale. It sounded suspiciously like their situation. She worried that Dante was only trying to be nice and actually say that he didn’t want to travel with her. She breathed a small sigh of relief when she heard the part about him being called names. She realized it wasn’t her. After all she hadn’t really called him any names. While except Dante and of course handsome in her head. Gorgeous was an apt description of him too, but that though she pushed further down in her head as she wondered if she was going the right way.

When he finished talking he looked over at her and smiled. He was lucky to have such a pretty female with him. Though he was sure that he must be acting like a total fool. He some times did that. He acted like a loop when he was around a pretty girl that he got to know. They walked in silence for a wile and he was currently trying to figure out how to start up another conversation. "So... Um... Hael..." He smiled over at her as they walked. "Tell me a little about yourself. Um... where did you live before coming here?"

“Me?” Hael asked surprised. He was really curious about her? She knew little about him other than he was nice, a bit young, and had a cute smile. Now she was learning he was guy who actually liked to listen to others. That just seemed to good to be true. Hael had a lot of baggage she thought she might as well get it all out of the way now before the phim next to her found out latter and judged her for it. “Well there really isn’t much to tell. I was born in a group of phims who taught me a rather puritan way to look at life.” She shrugged a bit not proud of how prejudiced she was in the past. “After my sons were born it really came out and there was a bit of an issue with a family of one of my son’s little friends. I tried to keep him sheltered and to my mind ‘safe’.” She sighed. “I wound up doing us both more harm than good, but my son is as strong willed as I am so he wouldn’t be held back by me and followed his heart. He and his mate along with a help from a friend…” Hael danced over the word tenderly with the tone she would use to scold her son. “they showed me the error of some of my judgments and now I’m moving forward.” Hael pointedly did not look at her traveling companion certain he would pick this time to leave her.

"Yeah..." He smiled at her. "I mean... I don't seem to sound rude or anything..." He chuckled lightly. "I just want to learn a little bit about you." He looked over at her and followed her as she began to talk and tell him about her. He frowned when he listened to her whole story. "Im sorry... it sounds like you had a hard time... but im glad that you are moving forward and not staying in the past." He smiled at her. "That is a good way of life. Don't set yourself in the past. Keep moving forward."

“Rude? No you’re not rude. It’s normal to be curious about the one you’re traveling with.” She gestured with a wing to wave it all away. “It’s not something you need be sorry for, so please don’t apologize. You see I’m doing much better.” She thought over his words for a moment. “No I’d not lock myself in the past, though I promised myself I would not forget it either.” To her the words sounded trite but she also knew them to be true. “And what of you my winged patient and traveling companion?”

"Alright. I feel much better knowing that... And for me talking some times passes the time." he smiled at her. "Thats good. Im glad that your doing better. Me?" He thought about it then chuckled. "Well my life hasn't really been exciting." He shrugged. "I don't talk to my family much. We kinda went out seprate ways. Some times we talk but we don't really have anything in common."

A few drops fell off a pine borough letting Hael know that the mist was settling down and would then clear up soon. She watched Dante shrug hoping he didn’t hurt himself when he shrugged. He seemed so very sweet and young. She had to admit she was very flattered by his words. A part of her mind scolded her for being a lecherous old hag. Her she was with two fine fully grown sons and her she was traipsing about with a phim who was so sweet he had to only be a boy. “Well I’m sure you have something in common with you family. Even at our worst disagreements my sons and I had some form of solid ground.”

"Possibly." He smiled as he looked at her. "I'm sure I do have a few things in common with them..." He then chuckled. "Weather or not I would be able to stay in the same place with them long enough to talk about it differs." looking up he also noticed that the fog was letting up. "If were lucky maybe the fog will let up enough for us to see."
