Taoshira's eyes went wide with his invitation. This Enthallion seemed so nice she couldn't see anything wrong with going. "I-I would love to." She managed to reply. Though the thought of being with who know how many azriens made her somewhat nervous, "As long as you don't leave me by myself Enthallion. It would be rather awkward to be found by myself with others I don't know." She said somewhat flirtatiously.
"Unfortunately for me, and fortunately for you, I wasn't really paying attention to the pathway. I was just sort of, uh, running." Tashi said before looking away awkwardly.

"That would be great, and I promise not to leave you alone, although the vast majority of them are harmless." said Enthallion. "I like to run too, and i'm rather fast, at least according to those who are always complaining about having to catch up."

"Well, just to make sure. It'll be comforting to have a familiar face next to me at all times." Taoshira said with a wink. "And the poor horses who have to keep up with you, oh mighty Enthallion." She teased. "I'm sure you're fast, I don't think I am, I just run when I have to. I rather enjoy long walks, they're much more soothing to me."

"Personally I hate trotting. Walking is okay but loping is much better. It doesn't rattle my brains" he grinned at her. "Fancy a nice graze? Would you like to try some water plants? They are quite tasty actually."

Tashi laughed at his statement and her knees went weak with his grin. "I've actually never had any water plants, I always thought they would be slimey. And I always had apples. Though a little walk might be nice. My legs feel tense from the run." She admitted.

The water plants are a little salty but they are full of nutrients and such. Perhaps a walk would be better though as they are a little slimy. Thali waited and then asked, Would you like to see the herd now or later?

"Well, I'll have to try some water plants with you some other time then." Tashi hinted at her desire to see him in the future. "I suppose we could go see the herd now, while there is still some light out." She said as she looked towards the setting sun. "Voreti always told me---" Tashi started, then remembered her situation again, "She, um, told me to try to not be out at night, that it wasn't safe..." She finished. Regaining her composure, she closed most of the distance between the two. "Shall we go?" She asked, tilting her head shyly.

"My dad only said that when I was a foal. Sure we can go now though, Its this way." Enthallion headed West and started on his way. He stopped and looked back at her to make sure she was following. "Tashi I am sorry about Voreti. It must have been very hard. I haven't seen my real mother in a long time but I know she loved me."

Tashi sped her pace for a minute to catch to him. She walked close to him, liking his presence. "Thank you. At the beginning of today, I thought it was the worst day of my life. But as it turns out, its been the best." She paused for a moment, "Voreti only wanted me to live my own life: to meet someone, and have a happy life alone. I suppose she didn't want me to live my life solitary as she has. I guess I can't be mad at her for that. Thanks Enthallion." She said as she nuzzled his neck for a quick second in thanks.

Enthallion's eyes widened at the nuzzle and he tried to hide a blush. "Your welcome Taoshira. I hope that if someone else had found you, they would do the same. I am positive you will be welcomed warmly." He hesitantly brushed his nose against her neck in acknowledgement. Then he snorted and turned away a little. He was quite confused now. Of course this was the first girl he had really met besides Opal.

Taoshira blushed as she felt her nuzzle returned. Noticing his turning away, she put a little more distance between them. "I hope so. I haven't had much interaction with others so I hope I don't offend anyone with anything I say." She said worriedly. So far she thought she had done ok talking with Enthallion, but the conversation had stayed pretty neutral, never straying from anything she hadn't talked with Voreti about.

"Well you haven't said anything impolite yet so I think you will be okay." It was nice to walk with her, she was a very pleasant being and he was beginning to relax more. His stride loosened and he meandered along the trail with a bounce in his step. "Not far now Tashi."
Thali could see the lone pine coming into view as well as dark shapes and a light one that could be his father, uncle and mother.

Taoshira nodded her head, too nervous for words. Meeting one other azrein in the first day of her leaving was an event in itself, but meeting an entire herd was overwhelming. She was without a doubt nervous. Tashi had enjoyed spending time with him and didn't want it to end because his family didn't like her. "I-I hope so." She said, her throat suddenly going dry again as she saw some figures in the distance. Her muscles became tense and knotted, ready to bolt if the need arose.

"Tashi, relax, these are the guys who pulled me out of the lake mud and adopted me remember?" As it turned out the pale figure was a rock and not his mother but the "Dark" part of the family was there.
Enthallion called out to them to alert them to his presence and he lead Tashi past the tall grass and under the sweeping boughs of the great pine that protected the herd form all weathers underneath.

Nodding, Tashi slowed down, allowing her neck to be even with his front legs. "I'll try." She said quietly. Tashi prepared herself for the meeting as they wound through the grass and under the ancient trees that acted as the barrier she supposed. If she were to have her own land, she would want a natural barrier on as many sides as possible. Like Voreti's, all of her territory was the forest so it was easy to see who was near her territory as well as protection. She took a deep calming breath and forced her muscles to relax.
