Aurum shrugged."I got there in time to see the monster attack her neck after Hiyo had gotten close..
Hiyo stopped saying that it wasnt his fault suddenly only to sink her head lower."not the same....hes not the same as before..."her eyes were still spaced.

"Mm....Hiyo?" He nuzzled against her neck, "My love?" Shuuha licked her cheek gingerly, "Come back to me Hiyo....everything is alright....no one is going to hurt you now I promise." He rubbed his head into the non-hurt section of her neck

Hiyo didnt move but only twitched a bit as if something was about to strike her when Shuuha licked her cheek. She knew shuuha wouldnt hurt her but something inside her wanted the man in front of her to stop. It only yelled out for someone to save her. she shook her head and turned around."I need some time..."
Aurum shook his head."the girls been through alot.so I think she just needs time to think..."

Shuuha nodded his head, "Take all the time you need hiyo...you know that I am not going anywhere." he smiled at her softly, "I love you too much." He sat on the ground, "Just...let me know when you're ready and I shall come back." He pointed to the forest, "I'll be camping out there until you are ready."

Hiyoko didnt day anything just continued walking to the lace she called her room. she moved to a corner as the tears began to fall.
Aurum watched His son in law walk off,he decidednow wouldnt be a good time to talk with hiyo either.He simply rolled up and went to sleep.

Not knowing what to do, Shuuha merely walked into the forest and found a shady patch to lay under. He didn't know how long he would be waiting outside, so it was worth it to be comfortable. He didn't know what was going on with Hiyo, but he knew that when she was ready to be around him again she would come for him.

Hiyo sat in the shadows going over the event in her mind."I dont want to hurt him.....he hurt me I have to kill him....I dont want to though, he wronged me though he has shown himself to be evil in Tama's eyes..."Hiyo began hearing the voices that seemed to come when she became disassociated with reality. A feeling in her gut that brought back how she was months ago, hateful, without mercy for the lives of those she deemed filthy, the feeling that Gimpi had changed. But now he was the way she was, was he wrong should she.....No that would be detestable she should try to help her friend right?

Shuuha hated the fact that there was nothing he could do for his mate, but she had said she wanted to be alone and he had to honor that. If though it made his heart ache to be separated from her, he respected her wishes. He just hoped that she would be able to get through this on her own. But it was Hiyo after all. Shuuha smiled. He had never met a more tough, yet caring vixen in his life.

The next day
Hiyoko stepped outof the small shrine and started to head towards where shuuha was supposed to have gone. she found him and slowly walked over sitting next to him without saying anything. only leaning on him, her mouth didnt move. she decided the night before that shuuha would be safe to be around.However couldn't get the courage to approach him. Her fear of those who she loved had subsided.

He smiled as he watched her approach, then smiled even wider as he watched her lean into him. "Mmm....hello there love." He grinned as he licked her neck affectionately. "Are you feeling any better?" He nuzzled against her neck softly, smiling as he licked her cheek.

Hiyoko shook her head.she honestly was still on edge but didnt want to hurt shuuha.she still didnt say anything however her tail swayed. the tip rubbing the top of shuuhas head to comfort him. a small mousey voice came from her mouth."sorry"

Shuuha looked at her shocked, "Why are you apologizing Hiyo?" He leaned in and licked her cheek, "You didn't do anything wrong love." He smiled at her softly, "You are perfect my beautiful Hiyo..." He continued to nuzzle her, hoping it would bring her comfort, "There is nothing for you to be sorry about."

"It's true Hiyo....That stuff is not your fault and I will not blame you for it." He gave her a stern look, "And you aren't going to blame yourself for it either." He pointed a paw at her. "Damn it Hiyo, you are beautiful, smart, compassionate, sensitive..these are all good qualities. And if some friend of yours is going through a hard time, it is not your fault that you can't help. Maybe no one came. Like last night, I knew there was nothing I could do to help you so I left you alone to figure it out. Gimpi is the same right now. Let him figure it out."
