He looked back down at her and thought of what he should say. He always wanted to protect others hence his occupation in his herd. Though how would this young filly know of that yet? He blinked his eyes “I saved you because I wanted too.” He simply said.
As they headed closer towards the herd he could hear some current problems dealing with his master Swift Wind’s grandson. Shaking his head “I was patrolling nearby. Keeping an eye on things in case something might endanger my herd,” he said.

Why did you save me?
Somehow, it always came back to that. Why had Lutherian saved her all that time ago? He spoke of duty and honour. He spoke of guarding, but what he never spoke of was his good heart. That's why he had saved her/risked his life for her.
It seemed odd after all these years--he had saved her, and taken her to the herd to be raised. He'd given her safety and the comfort of a name. And now...well, she wasn't exactly sure what she was feeling. She figured one day it would come to her as those things did. Whatever this was would blossom and overtake her until then...
She nodded at him, wiping at her eyes. "So I'll stay here then, with you? Is everyone...nice? Are they like you?

The armored stallion glanced down at the young filly. He tried to think about his herd. Though he knew they'd accept her "Yes. You will stay here." he told her with a gentle tone.
"They are nice." He didn't know what else to say about them. They all had their different personalites. Though he knew none of them would outright be mean or rude to her. The stallion headed towards the herd glancing back every now and then, hoping she'd follow.
