"Why thank you," Cleo purred at the compliment; sure, she had a massive ego already, but a girl liked to be reminded of her beauty from time to time anyways. And heaped in jewelry, but this wasn't the thieves' tribe--she'd have to come by that some way else, or make someone else do it for her.
The vixen smiled amusedly to herself as Lucian overtook her, but made no move to challenge him. She could, for the fun of it, but the male was allwoed his ego trips. Besides, this way she could keep an eye on his a--
Cleopatra blinked as a drop of water plunked onto her nose, then blinked up again at the offending clouds that had dropped it. The vixen pulled her ears back, disgruntled at the sight. They were a darker gray than they had been when the bird escaped her, and that could only mean a storm soon. She loathed getting caught in a storm--wet fur made her feel gross and the very opposite of beautiful. Only swimming was acceptable, because at least she felt clean after that.
"Luciaaann," she grumbled. "It's going to storm soon."

Lucian laughed and blinked when Cleopatra thanked him, then turned around when she complained of rain. He sighed quietly and ran toward the cave, going full speed. "Let's go then, we've gotta take cover, unless you want to get caught in the rain!" He sing-songed quietly, flicking his tail, amused.
