I love that Marie's got a Cajun/Creole flare! Finn's dad's side of the family is French New Orleans all the way back... they're pretty anglo-looking so I doubt that the Derouens are related to Marie, and the generations don't really match up, but could they be old family friends? Maybe she babysat for Finn before they moved to DC or something?

@ Lizzy: Marie would be happy to feed the cute kitty with the funny star! ********* might want to be careful though, because if she sticks around too long the Marie will also try to make her clothes. xD
@ Silv: Yay! Marie could have been a babysitter, or she could be like a cousin or aunt by marriage if that works. I have 50-year-olds in my RL family I call cousins, so hey, why not? xD

I would not be against her dressing up Dahlia if you'd like another kitty to dress up biggrin
Also though, I'd love Corey to meet her sometime. :3 She isn't THAT much older than him (he's 26) but he's very youthful and he's so very cheap. He'd be so happy to mooch food (and clothing mending because he wears his clothing until they basically fall off of them) off of her.

I'm trying to think of a grand introduction to DC for Marie. I'll probably hold off until after the Meta for it though. Probably.

Maybe we could RP Tag and Marie, or Osumilite and Pomona in a battle? For Tag/Marie she could be his personal stylist or something (although usually the news studio would supply that)? Osumilite/Pomona might be a rough battle since he'd be reluctant to beat up a teenage girl. Or we could RP Aster/Pomona or Aster/Mica in a battle, maybe? Aster is a hardcore pacifist but will fight if necessary or if attacked first. Do you have AIM so we can plot this out better? I'd love for them to have some kind of connection and Finn would love to soak up some mothering. biggrin

@ Spy: Ooo, Marie could be Tag's stylist. Maybe that could be the reason she moved to DC. It'd be interesting to see how their personalities would work. As for Pomona, she's not much of a fighter herself. Her usual strategy is to throw peppers at the enemy and hope they go away, so I can see lulz in an Rp with Osumilite or Aster.
