Elidin The Lollipop Picnic Elidin A cheese is really just any super-all-in play, usually early in the game rather than later. Though, if you pushed out with a 200/200 army and pulled all your workers to attack with it, it'd be a cheese. (Or, if you were smart, bank ~2000minerals and kill all your workers with AOE, then max out your army with units.) There is no follow-up at all to your attack, it's either win or lose at that point because you're sacking your entire economy in the attack. Banshee play is usually gimmicky and risky, though. If your opponent scouts it, you've wasted a lot of money if you lose those banshees when you harass, and open yourself to a potential counter (and loss) if you haven't been careful to compensate for the smaller army with defensive structures. Yeah Banshee opening is very riskay but it works on Bronzers :b but yeah if it fails its very hard to defend. Marauders and bunkers are really good, though, so it's not too hard! xd True that, but sometimes they have a better force and attack at the same time it gets irritating.

The Lollipop Picnic realmcutter any race should easily be able to counter/fightoff banshee's by 10 min. as protoss i easily coulda had mutiple stalkers and an obs by that time. Yeah i mean 2 banshees it should have been a simple counter but i made him waste his scans and he was going mass marine :b so he got a little screwed. lol sounds like you played me

they can be but it sounds like you're at a skill level where it would be counterproductive to worrying about classifying stuff too much, beyond cannon rushes/7pools being cheese and that kind of stuff.

Especially because of the new season :b people have just been a little more angry :b People are just going to be angry when they lose no matter what. They just try and grasp something to make it seem like they should have won. Ex: Saying something is cheese.

It's kind of like DTs. They're annoying if you didn't scout them, but not cheese. There are ways you can all-in with banshees, but what you did sounds to me like just basic harass. Your opponent should have scouted and taken precautions.

xDatsun Banshees at 10 minutes is not cheese at all. Cheese is usually an all-in strategy in the first couple of minutes
