Nakaya inhaled curtly as he felt all of the chakra. Twelve sources, no stronger than genin, if that. But still, there were so many! Nakaya went to yell but he assumed everyone had already figured it out as he looked up to find a cage falling like a giant pair of jaws. Great. he thought as he punched upward at the top of the cage. When his fist collided with the falling hunk of metal, four of his fingers would impact it, and an explosion equal to a fourth of a paper tag rang out. Pieces of the metal flew away from him, and the branch below him gave way, sending the smoke and debris to the ground. Nakaya emerged not a second later, moving from the husk of smoke to find that three enemies were already waiting. He glanced to see Takashi blowing enemies away with an almost scary amount of force. He needed to link with Saiyuri, but she was off fighting alone, which meant he needed to end these three quickly and move to go protect the medic. Hasu would be next on his list of to dos, and then he'd check for Takashi's safety. For now, he just needed to get moving. He popped his neck, still kicking after his training and still more than equipped to take them out. He took his bow out and quickly aimed, removing two arrows and rapidly firing them both. They would curve into a pincer type formation aiming at the two ninja on either side. Nakaya would follow up by sprinting at the trio, replacing his bow afterwards. He wouldn't reach them till seconds after the arrow did, but he at least he would be able to keep putting on the pressure. These were genin, same as him. But Nakaya had what he thought was an advantage. He fought just as hard with his mind as his body, and from what he could tell from what was going on around him, these were barely trained robbers. He would make a fist and send it flying at the group, hoping to force those worthless shields up again. At the moment of impact, he would open his hand to touch anything he could, shield, body or ground, and then blow it up.
○ Pincer Fang Description: Using two arrows instead of one, the user follows the process for Arc Bolt with the flow of chakra. However, upon release, the two arrows form a pincer-like movement, arcing wide and then curving back in on two different sides of the target. 2 chakra, 1 stamina ""You gotta think outside the box... like a mad genius..."

Takashi grunted as he fell to a knee. Yuki soldiers? The hell? And that chakra shield? Ok, so he had to use his ninjutsu... the only way to see if his close-quarters katon attacks would work would be to test them out. Inhaling and exhaling, he waited for his foes to get close enough to hit and be too commited to protect themselves. He had a secret: his Dragon Fangs. They weren't just there for show, they were his shield just as much as they were his sword. They would have absorbed the chakra wave's damage, saving his arm from being disabled.
As he waited, he hoped Saiyuri could still hear his thoughts. We need to regroup. This can't be all of them. I got these two, get to Nakaya, see if you can either get Hasu out or take out the other four or so guys.
When the moment he waited for arrived, when the two Yuki shinobi were too close to evade him and too commited to retract their attacks, Takashi struck. He inhaled quickly, then shot forward, fire erupting from his feet; (Fire Dragon's Claw). He tackled the first, his entire body consumed by fire, the short flame spurt from his feet giving him an abnormal speed to soar with. As he made contact with the first, he pivoted his body and shot hit hands out at the second opponent. Fire erupted from his hands for a second time with a large enough explosion to take out the second should he not be able to react in time, repeating the use of his second jutsu; (Double Palm Thrust).

Saiyuri: Moving backwards and Levitating over the water works like a charm and the Yuki soldier is baffled by your ability to do so effortlessly. Seeing you manipulate the ball of water and take time to heat it, the warrior had no trouble sidestepping your attack as he let loose another energy slice from his sword. What was different about this one however was that he used both hands, swinging downward with force as he unleashed an arc of energy twice the size of the previous arcs travelling at twice the speed right towards you.

Nakaya: Having seen you simply blow up the cage with your fist, your attackers are confounded, but determine that shields might not be the best option against you. They quickly shift their weapons to swords and move to attack, only to be confronted with an unexpected ranged attack. One of the warriors is struck directly in the heart, falling to the ground immediately, but the other two manage to dodge the attack and as you are closing in unleash arcs of energy off of their swords as you rush towards them.

Takashi: For some reason, you decided to lunge headstrong into two oncoming sword attacks without any thought of defense or avoiding the swords screaming toward you. Your burst of speed was enough to get through one of the bandit's attacks, but the other manages to slice you across your back right shoulder. As the blade makes contact with you you feel a strange draining sensation as if someone were sucking the life out of you.
You are able to knock your first oppponent to the ground as he screams in agony from the pain of the assault and the fire, but the other is able to dodge your flame burst attack and counter with one of his own. Placing two hands on the hilt of his sword, you see the man channel energy as his blade suddenly glows red, swinging his sword at an arc a stream of energy screams off of the blade and suddenly ignites in flame as the point blank attack screams toward you in a 5 foot tall arc of energy.
{{Tenchi, please remember that you jutsu consume both chakra and stamina as per the battle system. Also subtract 3 chakra and 5 stamina from your totals for the attack that sliced you. Also, be careful that you are not performing too many actions in one post unless you have the Combo specialty.}}

(( Was under the impression that Takashi had the Combo bonus of Sayuri' tactical bonus. And not to sound rude if I do, but I would like a little clarification: if Guy number two wouldn't be able to redirect his attack, how does he slice Takashi's back when there's a half a second difference between his knelt position and his head being driven into the first guy's chest? ))

Duly noted on the Combo bonus.
...What do you mean couldn't "redirect" his attack?... his attack was in progress and you more or less ignored the fact that he swung at you. So, he hit you. I have no clue what you are referring to about his "knelt" position or his head being driven into the second's chest. I never got any of that from your post.

Saiyuri heard an explosion ring from the other side of the battle, which probably meant Nakaya was in action now. She needed to end this quick so that she could go and aid Takashi and Nakaya. Luckily, her levitation allowed her to move wit such ease, all she had to do was redirect her motion, and Saiyuri was out of the way of the wave. The moment she saw the attack Saiyuri was forming the seals for her next attack. When she finished the short string, 6 shuriken launched from the surface of the water, and aimed for the Yuki soldier. They were spread out over his entire body each aiming for spots that would incapacitate, but not kill.

Takashi winced as he used his hand to bounce off the ground and land on his feet, much like a cat could: crouched and ready to defend himself. He was mentally kicking himself for being so reckless. And all the while he was only able to beat these guys one by one, Saiyuri was still fighting. He should be over there. Some guard he was. Still, he got some new insight as to the blade's mechanics. He'd never went up against Yukigakure shinobi before, and only heard about their chakra weapons from his mentor. Not only were they able to block, they were able to use their blades to both produce a chakra blast and drain chakra via touch. They didn't match Sonozaki design, but they were pretty cool.
Once again they screwed up. Once he saw the red chakra ignite, a smirk appeared on his face. He allowed the jutsu to come at him, and it consumed his body. Normally it would be deady, but suddenly the flames began to vaccum inward. The flames were literally going inito Takashi's mouth as the last of the fire was consumed. He wipped his mouth, that grin still on his face. Sure, there were singes all over his clothing, but nothing a small bath in the river couldn't fix up; (Shokuji no Karyu) "Thanks for the meal."
Now in his upright position, he bounced on his left foot, then his right, then nodded, swayed back, and rushed the third opponent. Just before attacking the man, or woman, he yelled as an explosion of chakra came from his body. "First Gate, open!" His run sped up faster than that of an average chunnin's sprint as he opened the first gate of the four he knew how to unlock. Thirty seconds, he mentally reminded himself. Thirty seconds before he would either have to open the next gate or drop out of this state all together. However, if he continued, he'd have to rely on their medic's medical attention, and then eventually the Kirigakure medics.
Hands still skidding along the ground, causing a third and fourth trail of fire to spawn on the ground, he zig-zagged at the third opponent. He decided to change it up a bit. Instead of using his hands, he decided to use his feet. A foot or so from his target, he literally dove forward, used his hands for support, and brought his right leg down towards his target's shoulder; (Leaf Hurricane).

Saiyuri: Clearly your enemy did not imagine you would be so easily able to control your movement in the air, or he might have been less surprised by your immediate counterattack. Seeing the movement of hand seals, he instinctively switched to the shield in a panicked action to protect himself from whatever would come. As the shuriken shot forward he managed to deflect one or two, but did not escape those which struck his lower extremities, taking a hit in the hip and one in each leg causing him to fall to his knees in the mud, just barely able to keep his balance from falling face first in it.

Saiyuri rushed forth, using her levitation to keep her out of the water so she would not be slowed down. When she was close enough Saiya thrust her left hand forward, motioning downward with her hand. Her Mayu technique called the Light Telekinetic Push was aimed at the shield, so that it would move down. Then Saiya swung her body around, and aimed a knee straight for the Yuki's soldiers temple. She used yet another Mayu technique to buff the strength of her attack, so that it would connect with more power than she had but still not enough to kill the soldier.

Takashi: Looking on at you in astonishment, the Yuki warrior seems almost stunned by the fact that you literally ate the fire. Clearly exhausted and tired from performing the attack, the man was ill-prepared for the overkill attack which was launched him. Having almost no defense, the man made a futile attempt to defend himself, but had no chance of matching the speed or strength of the attack. Your leg struck with a force which instantly resonated throughout the man's body, blacking him out instantly as he fell backwards off the branch to crash into the forest floor below.

Nakaya wasn't at all surprised when his arrow found it's mark in the man's heart. He was more pleased by that than anything. But he was halted in his approach by some form of chakra based attack coming at him. Nakaya skiided forward trying to stop and performing handseals quickly.Earth Style, military movement! he called out as he dipped under the attack just in time. As this happened Nakaya quickly moved forward to under his enemies. He was banking on the fact that they expected their attacks to hit him and, on the fact that they would have a moment where they couldn't see his body due to their attacks. In the few seconds it would take for them to note that his body wasn't hit by the attacks, he had hoped he could reach up and grab their ankles, then setting off an explosion under each of the, to finish this group. If they moved however, he would move to a spot just behind a tree, then draw his bow and fire another arc shot at the enemies. He needed to end them both quickly to go back up Takashi, whom he knew had just opened one of the 8 gates due to the energy he was giving off.
Tsuchi Gunjikoudou no Jutsu (Earth Military Movement Technique) This jutsu allows the user to enter the ground and "swim" in it for a limited amount time (1 post maximum). While in the ground, the user can see through the earth as if it were transparent, but can still distinguish all of the features of the earth, rocks, holes/tunnels, burrowed animals, etc... and they can see up through the surface of the earth to locate their opponents. This field of vision extends up to a 25 foot radius around the user, but you still need to turn or look down to see things behind or under you. ""You gotta think outside the box... like a mad genius..."

Saiyuri: Your enemy is more or less unable to move, but not so much that he is completely defenseless. Considering his weakened state, the Yuki warrior shifts his sword back into a shield again as he desperately tracks you above him, unable to stand up in the muddy banks of the river with his injured legs. Your telekinetic push has some effect, but it just isn't strong enough to deflect the 3 foot diameter shield in the way you hoped. As such, the man is able to raise his shield up to your attack, and although he is pushed back by the blow, you feel a sudden wave of force ricochet off of the shield as your knee makes contact. The force grows and turns into a rush of kinetic energy which burns your skin as it makes contact and shoves you backward. The effect itself would feel like you were hit by a bull rush attack to your entire front side.
{{The force of the attack causes you to lose your concentration, causing you to lose your Levitation. Also, along with the associated effects of getting hit with the attack, your Stamina drops by another 3 points.}}

Nakaya: Despite what you think the Yuki warriors can and can't see, they both notice that before their arcs of energy have a chance to strike you that you formed hand seals and then sunk into the ground. Being rather familiar with the technique, both of the operatives lifted their hands into the air is pitons carrying cables shot upward, grabbing a hold of one of the branches of the trees about 50 feet up in the air. Once the pitons struck the wood and attached themselves securely, the Yuki warriors gripped the cable device and began to ascend quickly upward. Each one however wasted no time in dropping a small grenade like weapon to the ground which seemed to have a timer on it. A ringing noise could be heard coming from the device, a shrill high-pitched sound which got louder with every second. Looking up, you can see the counters already down to "00:02"
