Daria followed Phe as the other azrein talked. When Pheonix looked back at her, Daria gave a small nod. "Sounds like a good plan to me. I have no problem with here." Daria tossed her mane as she walked underneath a large tree and lay down, tucking her legs underneath her body.

Her nostrils flared reaching the shade tree. Pheonix wasn't as graceful as Daria as she settled herself down in the grasses simply laying on her side having her legs stretched and splayed out. Her eyes searched the increasing darkness, the sunset reminding her of the fire that surrounded her at birth. She looked over toward the dainty female, tilting her head a little. "So. Tell me of yourself."

Daria stretched her wings out luxiously, happy to finally let them out for their full length for a little while. She looked over at Pheonix after a minute, and listened to her question.. or rather demand. "Well.. My name is Daria.. I was born with these wings which are too small to fly, so they seem kinda useless. I have traveled around without much idea of where I'm going, just so long as I know there are apples where I'm going." Daria chuckled. "I really like apples and meeting new people. What about you Pheonix?" She asked after a small second to let her words sink into Pheonix's mind.

The female's summary of herself seemed a little... judgmental. There was nothing really wrong with Daria for had Pheonix been a male, she'd probably try to court Daria. Her ears flicked forward a little as she took a mental note of apples. The female liked apples. Stretching her neck, Pheonix stared at her wings for a brief moment before returning to a relaxed position. "Hm. Interesting. Could be your wings are more for show, and hereditary value as well as mating." She nodded in her assessment to herself mostly, but didn't bother to lower her voice. "I was born of ashes and magic that had been hidden in this world. This...equine body is something I'm still growing used to. I'm searching for my master...I don't know what form he'll be, but I'm hoping maybe the King will help me. My master will be able to tell me what purpose I have of this life." Her nostrils flared as she looked steadily at Daria before turning toward the skyline.

Daria listened to Pheonix's story with interest. Born of fire and ashes? Magic? This azrein had to be from somewhere else.. But not as a horse? Interesting and yet confusing at the same time. "You say you were not always an azrein? Daria questioned as she puzzled over the new information. She was please that the firey red and black female had thought of a reason for Daria's wings. She leaned back and preened them a little as she waited for Pheonix's response.

"Oh yes. I was many other things. A bird, a lion, even a human once. But my past lives are different and I can't always fully remember them. I only remember the forms I've taken." Her ears flicked as she gave an annoyed snort. "That little kink in my memory never helps me either. I always end up running into my master somewhere and he's always different. Nothing is ever sure for me and as much as it is annoying, it ensures that my life is never boring." Her fiery eyes turned to gaze at Daria, a small hint of a smile on her lips. "But sometimes I could go for some boredom."

Daria listened to Pheonix, not quite understanding how you could be several different things, reborn as a different animal each time. It was strange to say the least, but she accepted it. "It sounds like an exciting life." She responded, right as Phe turned to face Daria again with her bright brilliant eyes. "Boredom is.. boring.." She chuckled. The sun was now down below the horizon save for a small sliver. Daria blinked her eyes sleepily, and suppressed a yawn, trying not to be rude around her new friend.

Pheonix rested in the silence for a moment, her mind simply winding down for its scheduled rest. She was sure that Daria would be confused, but then again most were. A lot she met in her many lives didn't quite understand reincarnation. Frankly, she didn't either. But apparently there was a purpose she was supposed to do...and only her Master would know. Looking over to the mare fighting sleep, Pheonix gave a gentle whicker. "Let us rest. If by daylight tomorrow you don't find me, I've started onward toward the castle. Maybe I'll meet you again." The mare gave a brisk nod before stretching out her legs and resting her head on the ground. Her eyes closed and soon there was nothing but rhythmic breathing and light snoring.
