The vertigo passed and Foramen was able to nod at Chaonis without feeling like he was going to hurl. He still felt more drained than he liked. Clearly he still needed to feel out his new limits. Awesome new powers apparently used up more energy. Foramen realised he'd have to be careful until he was more familiar with his new Super stage.
"Yeah, m'okay. Just moved more than I meant to," he said, referring to moving via teleporting, not his own dashing about.
Foramen eyed the pile of dust that used to be a youma. It was good to have won - and once again, he and Chaonis had proven that they worked well in combination. Part of the evening had still been a fail, though. "So no luck at all on the attack front?" Foramen asked.

Chaonis watched him, frowning. It seemed neither of them were in full control of their powers yet. At least they had that in common. It almost made him feel better about it, made his pride hurt a bit less, that someone he actually considered his friend was having similar troubles with his power up as Chaonis was.
It just meant they would both have to work harder, but maybe they could figure that out while working in tandem.
"Not yet, but I think a few more fights like that might do it," he grinned. "And it looks like you need some help in the control area, as well. That was probably the best fight I've had since powering up."
He looked thoughtful, arms folded over his chest.
"Maybe we should team up more often. To train, or to patrol, or whatever." He tried to say it as nonchalantly as possible. But it made sense to him, he just didn't want to sound needy or over excited. He had some pride left, after all, even if he was feelimg impotent as far as his senshi magic went.

Foramen shrugged easily. For some reason, the idea of teaming up with Chaonis again didn't seem so bad. Normally Foramen ran from offers to team up with other senshi. But Chaonis was one of the least douchetastic senshi he'd met. And, just like Chaonis, Foramen felt a bit better about his own lack of control when the other guy was having similar problems. Might as well work on their problems together - if one person's powers failed or went awry, the other one could step in to deal with the enemy.
"Sure, I wouldn't mind," Foramen answered, with a tiny smile. The compliments didn't hurt, either. "Might as well get used to our new powers together."
It wasn't like this made Foramen suddenly nice or friendly. It was just that Chaonis had proven himself a worthwhile partner in battle. Foramen couldn't ignore the strategic advantages it offered - or so he could tell himself, anyway.

It was funny that Foramen didn't consider Chaonis a douche, when nearly every other senshi thought the opposite. But maybe that was what made their teaming up work, and why it made sense to work together when they could.
They actually got along.
It was simple logic, but it was good enough for the Senshi of Danger. He had never considered himself a particularly complicated person anyway.
Chaonis nodded his head and offered his fellow senshi his hand.
"It's a deal then. Alright. If I figure out my move I'll call. Might as well practice it when I do have it. But right now I figure we've done enough for a patrol tonight. No need to over do it."
He grinned. Maybe he was lazy sometimes, but they had dusted a youma, hadn't they? So it was fair to call it a night and go home. Why not? No one said they had to even kill one youma a night, let alone more than one. They didn't have quotas. They just 'did what they could'. Tonight, with the promise of video games and a quiet house, Chaonis decided he had done what he could.

"Sounds good to me," Foramen agreed, shaking the proffered hand. "I don't mind another team up."
And if they were going to get into the habit of doing this, Foramen would like some practice in avoiding becoming a secondary target. Chaonis didn't Foramen as the type to be happy with control so lacking he almost took out his allies, but Foramen wasn't going to bank on it. He'd rely on himself, first and foremost. But still, training together wouldn't be the worst kind of hardship he'd ever endured.
"I'll catch you some other time, then."
With a nod to Chaonis, Foramen was leaping back up onto the rooftops. He'd at least patrol his way home. Whether it was an early night or not depending on what else he might find along the way.

Chaonis nodded his head.
Good, that had been painless. And now he had a teammate. He needed one, as he needed to train and he did not want to beat up any of his friends. though he was reckless most of the time, he was well aware that his attack, if it continued unchecked as it was, could kill someone.
Someone on his own side.
He couldn't afford that, and he imagined Foramen was aware of this trouble. The guy could teleport, couldn't he? If anyone was capable to at least get himself out of the danger Chaonis supplied, it was him. And, really, Chaonis esteemed him on the same level, though he was not an Eternal. It wasn't about power or rank, just drive and how they used the skills they had.
They thought about things similarly.
He watched Foramen go, then leaped away himself, hearing the familiar wail of sirens in the distance. He wasn't sure if it was for them, but he didn't want to stick around and find out.
