 'Crazy crazy crazy......'Before he could answer the bus stopped and the doors opened at the front of the school. Immediately his eyes seemed to glimmer slightly and become more hateful looking. Without a word he turns the music back up and stands up,heading for the doors. On his way there someone sticks their foot out and trips him making most of the students laugh at him.
Again without a word Maxwell stands up and brushes himself off before silently leaving the bus and heading into the school. He seemed like a completely different person and the fact he was muttering to himself didn't help the image.'....Well secrets can do that to you.'

Just tell me your problems.... Eve frowned as he got off. Maybe he just wanted to be left alone.... She got up and glared at the boy who tripped him and walked over, looking at everyone. "That wasnt very nice at all! How would you like me to do that to you?" She scowled before getting off the bus, Lillian running to her."You've got some guts."Eve said nothing, walking into the school.

'Crazy crazy crazy......'The day went as per usual for Maxwell. He was always the first one in class and the first out. He never showed up around lunch time a he usually just hid around the school yard at the time and today was no different. He sat in a dark corner and listened to his metal just trying to avoid people and the usual teasing that came with them.'....Well secrets can do that to you.'

Just tell me your problems.... Eve had brought her lunch and was laughing with Lillian until she looked out the window and saw Maxwell. "Hey, um, Lil...I'll catch you later." Lillian looked confused then shrugged. "Whatever. Ill go talk to Marie." She said as she walked off to another table. Eve started walking to the door when a boy tried to stop her."I'm sorry. I'm kind of in a hurry!"She called out to him as she walked outside. She scanned the permisis as she saw Maxwell and started walking over with a sweet smile. ...and I'll promise to listen....

'Crazy crazy crazy......'Maxwell saw her from across the courtyard and scowled. His glare was even more piercing when he was actually trying. With a small sigh he stood up quickly and tried to lose her around a corner. "I told her to leave me alone in school."
He grumbled in his head as his metal blasted away. In truth he never understood why school got him in such a bad mood but if he had to guess it had to be how confining it was. It was like a prison without the guards and wired fences.'....Well secrets can do that to you.'

Eve saw the face he made at her and her face fell as she stopped walking. He really looked mad.... She put on a nervious smile as she followed him. "Wait up Maxwell!" She called, running up behind him. "Am i really that irritating?" She asked from behind, face set in a frown.

Eve frowned. What was that suppose to mean? "That doesnt mean you should be so mean.... This place wouldve been better if you woulda put a happy face on and made a couple friends ya know?" She suggested as she took a step closer to him, taking off his headphones. "And i dont understand how you can hear me with those on."

'Crazy crazy crazy......'Maxwell's eyes opened and were a little wide as he realized the mistake he just made. Bust he kept his calm and just sighed softly. "I have a lot of practice hearing people over my music..." He replied softly before snatching his earbuds back from her and stuffing them into his pocket with his ipod. "...I had tried making friends and tried to be nice but no one ever gets past my appearance...so i went a different direction...let them think i'm crazy just as long as they keep their distance."'....Well secrets can do that to you.'

Eve blinked at him with a sad expression. "Would you like someone to talk to?" She cracked a smile as she said: "I wouldnt mind talking to you often." It would be nice to talk to someone who didnt have the same intrests as everyone she knew.

Eve smiled sweetly. Victory! She was finially able to break down part of the wall. She sat down next to him, very happy. "I dont mind at all. So where did you come from?" She asked, opening her brown paper bag to pull out a container of fried rice and a Dr. Pepper.

Some say the mountains,others say a mental ward. The truth is i've lived in this town all my life..." He shrugs and sighs softly. "But the parasites will never ask the source." Eve stuck a forkful of rice in her mouth and looked at him with a confused expression. "All your life? Oh, were you homeschooled?" She asked, not wanting to really jump to conclusions. She found ot humourous that he was calling everyone parasites. Thats a new one.

'Crazy crazy crazy......'His look shift to a hardened one not angry or anything like that just more...aged looking as if he had lived much longer then he actually had. "No...I haven't had anyone to home school me...In fact i don't even know my parents..." He sighed and closed his eyes part way as he looked up into the sky.'....Well secrets can do that to you.'
