Neith had to agree something bad had happened and when he said what she nodded her head. Looked like he was right.
"Maybe you should check one them? Anyhows I hear noise over this way." She got off her rock and headed straight to where the group was. She got there in time to hear plans being made and stayed quiet for a little while.
"Where is Tamu." She demanded it nice and loud for them all to hear. "I am apparently her cousin or something and I would like to talk to her." She made it rather clear what it is she wanted and she had made her relation to her clear as well.
"I believe you also need a search party... looking for the injured and bringing them back here sounds like the best plan. Don't you agree?" She turned and looked at the white female giving the orders. Neith would be giving the orders from now on.
-------
As more and more lions seemed to arrive at the meeting spot Kwaruza just smiled, the pride was still alive! She let out a sigh of relief every time a new lion appeared. With Dufi back by her side she was at least a little more relaxed to know one of her children was safe.
"Aysu go and fetch anything you can find to help others. If you see anyone tell them to come here, if they are hurt tell them to stay put but you must get anything to make something to help the injured." She then looked back at the others who were there. It was a pitiful search team if there ever was one that was for sure.
It was then she was interrupted by a lioness she did not recognise. She wanted some order and was demanding where Tamu was?
"Tamu is missing..." Kwaruza whispered the words. She didn't want to hear them herself.
"I agree..." She nodded happy that at least someone was starting search parties.

The tsunami had hit the shores - literately looking as though it was running after them, and though it was rainy and they shouldn't have been out.. Tsu was still traveling with the girls. Izzy and Roho by his side fighting the storm along with him. Looking back at the girls as trees started to wave and pull from the winds.. "Hurry!" He spoke up, miles away from the bahari.. The rains going as they ran for cover in a den in the beach, right before getting there, the tsunami took them right off their feet and pulled them away.
The last thing he knew she was pushing his back side as he turned to grab at her tuff fur and swing her in front of him before being taken by the waves. The very thing that made him a father when even he didn't know he was one. Putting Roho and Izzy first before being swept away, but he wasn't the only one..

Knowing full well that the ocean had been disturbed and now the land was suffering. Running alongside her trusted friends that had now become family to her... Unknowing something very amazing she had beheld.. the hope of the future.. Calling out to Roho and Tsu before pushing all her might upon Tsu to cover him before being the first one swept in the ocean along with Tsu.. It was a tragedy to say the least.. Not one life was lost but two.
Roho yelled out without even thinking as she was put into the cave and the tsunami ate her only family she knew.. she didn't even have time to tell him that he was her father! She yelled out in disbelief. Screaming in fact as she cried out and knew that she couldn't do anything. By the time she instinctively went in to the water, the tsunami had already done its damage and now she only endangered herself when she went in and only cried more when she knew it was in vain..
Swimming back as she coiling up in the highest part of the cave, upon the slippery rocks, grasping them and trying to preserve herself.. She couldn't see them anywhere!
By his old friend, the god of surf, he only remembered him like a flash back.. the water taking him and causing him to become unconscious as his head slammed in to a rock below. He hadn't ever seen the waves this bad when the god died.. The ocean cried many days after and he would have thought why.. but no thoughts came to mind... As his body was tossed around like a ragdoll.. til he washed upon the reigns of the bahari.. far to the top end of the beach.. and upon a sea rock that looked as though it had be also damaged by the destruction..
Izzy on the other hand, was washed ashore careful, like a tender flower floated right in to the soft sands of the bahari pride. Unconscious as her body too, got dragged along but by miracle, she had a way easier route than Tsukouru.. Coiling at the beach and letting the shores now that they have calmed, being pushed more and more up the beach to the south.. Still breathing but barely..

The god thought about it, then opted to follow the lioness. "If there was an undersea tremor... The pride's farther up the coast..." He looked around at the assembled lions, before glancing at the pale blue lioness. Whoever Tamu was, was her cousin... A fly, impervious to the chaos around, landed on his face. Violet eyes crossed as his face crinkled in agitation, before he shook it off, turning into a full-body shake. If he'd been projecting an illusion of just a normal adolescent lion without realizing, he wasn't anymore. Which the fly then took advantage of by landing on a long ear.
Mahatma frowned, turning to the new lioness. "Now wait a minute, who are ye to be giving us orders?" He motioned with a paw. "Kwaruza's more apt to be givin' the orders, we know HER!" His gaze returned to the new lioness. "Ye're nothin' but a stranger..."
Dimbwi was surprised. Mahatma had never reacted to anyone like that before. Maybe it was the stress, between getting hit with a wave, and missing lions. Who knew what it was, but he wasn't... Himself. "Ma'atma..." She pressed on him, glancing at the new lioness. "We are needing all the 'elp we can get right now..."

Farooq had been sleeping soundly, in the way a lion who had lived carefree his whole life could, when the wave hit. He hadn't heard the guards yelling, or any of the pride if they had joined the fearful choir. The waves were the first thing to rouse him, and he woke, gasping water painfully, being dragged out to sea. He was confused, disoriented, how had the water gotten so BIG? And rough...
For a moment he wondered if ANY of the pride's cubs could possibly live through this. His heart broke at the thought. It had been his job to watch them. Not of course when they were asleep sound in their own families' dens, but still...
Blaming himself and worrying wasn't going to do him any good though, and nor would drowning. His lungs burned, but he had always been one of the strongest of swimmers. He pushed himself to the surface, hacking water. The wave had thrashed the pride mightily, he could tell even from where he was. Some lions were still on the shore...some in TREES...He felt the water rushing back to the ocean now that it had lashed the land, and if he didn't start swimming now he might end up too far to ever get back. With powerful sure strokes he started out.
As he neared the shore one figure caught his eye. A weight he hadn't known was there lifted. "Mahatma...!" He finally made land, and shook himself off before loping up the beach towards his brother. He wasn't entirely alone then. But there many faced he didn't see among the waves hadn't taken... "Have you seen Umu? Or...mom? Or dad? Or...anyone?"

Kou slowly and carefully followed the river downstream, picking his way over and around flooded areas, debris, flotsom, and jetsom. He looked at the devastation around him and thought back to what brought him down this path of destruction.
The day had been calm and placid outside of the Bahari'mtoto pride. Kou had heard of the pride and was curious about it. Finding a pride to settle in was Kou's ultimate goal but he didn't want to just join just any pride, Bahari'mtoto was the first pride that really sparked his interest. He was by the large river that flowed through the pridelands to end at the ocean when the ground started to rumble slightly. He paused in confusion, what could cause such a rumble. Suddenly the river water surged catching the fluffy lion by surprise, he had only a moment to take a gasp before the water swept him away upstream.
He fought against the pull of the unnatural water and only when it lessened was he able to drag himself out of the churning water a few miles from where he first went in. Drenched and shaken Kou took a moment to figure out what just happened. Seeing the devastation around him he could only imagine what the land looked like at the origin point.
So on slowly steadying steps Kou headed back the way he was taken, hoping for the best but planing for the worst.((i kinda figure he is just inside of pride lands at this point))

Welchenos found himself not far from the beach when the wave struck, gathering basic supplies to refill the healers' stores. The water swamped him, he lost his supplies, and he found himself having to swim hard against the pull to maintain his ground. As soon as the water started to subside, he began the search for his extended family, chanting their names over and over. "Mom? Dad? Oceanus? Tycho? Persephone? Helios? Eros? Deimos? Adonis? Where are you?" Mom? Dad? Tycho? . . ."

It hadn't taken long for the gods to give her a little luck, her deafened ears slowly returning to some semblence of normalcy, the roaring of the water dying down as she rubbed her ears in a ferver. It had only been a few minutes since she cried out in worry, her muzzle streaked with the ocean's fury and her own clear tears, sobs and water hiccups wracking her body. But she was a Jana, she was strong and she aws sure that the pride had seen better days. She hoped.
After a few moments of silence, a strange sound overcame her curiosity, a scratching, wooden sound, as if something had been issuing an attack on the remaining trees that had survived the barrage. Turning her head to look behind her, she decided to leave her comfort spot, looking to find out what was causing the sudden ruckus.
As she got closer, the heaving and weezing of another soul fighting to relapse from the battering. It took her a few minutes, eyebrows furrowed, before she looked up, the form of the dark lion hanging from the tree in a desperate grasp making her gasp in shock - a choked sound from the lack of air in her lungs.
"A-Are you alright?!" she gasped out, taking some waterlogged gallops towards him, her eyes wide with worry. He looked so tired, and she looked around the beach under him, trying to push some sticks out of the way, assuming that would help. "Can I do anything to help. . . ?"

She leaned against him gratefully, it was a miracle that he was alive and the others. But who had died? Been swept away in the waters. She felt a pang of miserable woe, how many would she never see again. "It doesn't hurt too terribly father. There are others who need the healing more than I." She said, putting her hurting foot down, and wincing. She picked it back up again and sighing. "I wasn't even expecting to make it. That wave was... unforgiving... What are we going to do?

Kai tried to dig what he could of his nails into the tree as another surge of water coughed up from his lungs. This was just about as bad as the first time he had been swept out to see and sent crashing back into land the only difference this time was that his sister was already lost and he wasn’t stuck in a tree. It hurt to move something had to be cracked if not broken but at least he wasn’t coughing up blood or at least not yet. Kai had to admit he didn't expect something like this to happen to his new home, it had taken him offguard dragging up memories he didn't want to remember. Another serious of coughing reminded him that he was still stuck and unable to get down.
Kai didn’t expect to see a lioness running to his aid considering however he was more than less extremely grateful she did. She looked vaguely familiar as one of the pride members however not one he had met personally considering really he only dealt with cubs. A pang of worry echoed in his heart, what had happen to the cubs? He hoped the gods if any other than those who sent the wave had protected them.
Kai gave her a meek smile before coughing up some more water, “I am ok considering, I don’t know if you know a better way down from here other than falling?” There was no way he was going to be climbing down with his condition.

hibi-tea Fuo'Tamu had not been so lucky. The mint green lioness had been at the shore's edge when the wave hit. She had been looking for materials to bring back to her mother for crafting, as she wanted to take up the same work as her mother. The wave had been so massive, and as it came upon the shores of the pride it let out a thundering roar that made the young adults tail shoot beneath her and her legs tremble. Fuo had starred at it in fear, unable to move, when it finally crashed into her and threw her into the pride's lands. She hit several trees, getting caught once or twice within them. When her head got above water she screamed, calling to her mother, her father, and her Seer twin sister. Such catastrophe. How could they have not foreseen this? The first thing that Penina realized was that the ocean was angry. No, she was not angry. She was furious. The very realization of this was enough to strike a cold spear of fright deep into Penina's heart. Her family would be separated, scattered like miniscule specks of sand on the shore. They were all strong, they were all bound by their love for one another. They would be fine, Penina knew that much. Penina had been far inland when the monster wave struck her beloved pride, but her body had been in constant motion once she heard the cries and screams of her terrified pridemembers. The second thing Penina realized was that her sister was in trouble. The visions were not brief or weak -- they were technicolor horror, moving pictures of terror and fear visible only to Penina's mind's eye. She froze in her steps, eyes wild with fear and something deeper than that, something that clenched at her throat and seized her chest. "Fuo!" Her voice was wild, broken, her scream full of distress. She had to find her sister.

Hitomi for once had began to enjoy the day, as it seemed the ocean had decided to withdraw itself to a distance where she could happily enjoy the softest sand the beach had to offer for her paws and belly. Maybe for once she could actually enjoy the sun without the water trying to lick at her paws like some eager cub...but ofcourse that wasn't going to happen. The first thing she heard to give her any indication of danger, was the growing screams of fear and confusion that soon rolled over the beach and roused her partially from her sun bathing. Now what was going on? Had some cubs found some giant crab or some nonsense? With a small sneer she roused herself to her paws before noticing the shadow cast over the beach...and soon enough...she noticed the giant wave that came hurtling towards them all and in a small, brief flicker her mind quietly muttered.
I knew this would happen.
Too little to late though as the awe and fear struck lioness was suddenly engulfed by foam and sea, paws batting wildly at the waters till she was given purchase and managed to bring her head above the water. Hacking and spluttering as she kept her nose and eyes over the surface she could only see a small glimpse of the beach, how far had it pulled her out? Before she could do anything however, the blue beast pulled and tossed her further along the raging coast, unknowing and unsure of where it was taking her.
((And that's Hitomi out sadly, she can be assumed deceased or missing but she'll wash up in the roguelands.))

Kivumbi coughed up water, unable to move as her lungs finished expelling water. And once that finally finished, she TRIED to move, tried to get up. She found she couldn't get up, because as soon as she put weight on her front right leg, it crumpled beneath her, and drew a cry of pain from the lioness. She'd gotten knocked into something that...well, likely broke her leg. "Vuai?" Where was her mate? "Kizi? Mydas? Alepo?" Where were her sons? Where was her family? Were they alive? Were they hurt?
The sound of paws scrunching through displaced sand caught her attention and she perked, hoping it was one of the names she'd called. Instead, it was a black lioness she vaguely recognized as part of the pride. Lith'elen, she'd believed the female's name was. The other lioness made her way to Kivumbi, worry equal to the other's in her eyes. Kivumbi gave her a sad smile; so the black lioness was a mother, too. "I'm afraid I need help up. I think I broke my front right leg."
"I'll give you a ride, than." Lith'elen moved to get Kivumbi onto her back, the brown lioness helping as best she could. "The place is...pretty trashed. Wouldn't do for you to aggravate your leg any further, or break another leg."
"Mother! There's a group starting to gather not too far from here! Should we go there?" A lion who looked like he could have been Lith'elen's son stood on a rock nearby, looking somewhere between worried and shaken. Lith'elen nodded, and moved over to the lion once Kivumbi was firmly on her back.
"Let's go Kuhli. If nothing else, perhaps someone can take care of this gal's leg." She sent a sad smile back to Kivumbi, who nodded, and they started off. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Kizingo'uso had been practicing his swimming when the tsunami hit, getting ready for his Ba'Ushufo. When the water had receded, he'd been terribly confused...and then the great wave had rushed in. He'd tried running, terrified he'd done something wrong to the sea, and then it hit. He didn't remember anything until he woke up, sputtering and coughing up water. The red-maned lion got to his paws, still coughing and looking around. "Mother? Father? Alepo and Midas?" Each call got more frantic before he finally went silent. And heard another voice.
Desperate to see ANYONE from the pride, he made his way towards the voice, and saw another male, white and pink with a black mane. Not someone he really knew...but recognized as part of the pride, all the same. "Hey! You seen anyone else?" He tried hiding the panic and fear in his voice, but it didn't entirely work.

Uurmi had been fast asleep when the waters had come, and had woken with a start when they had started to flood her den. It had been nearly too late by the time consciousness had returned to her - the opening that led from her den to the outside was nearly completely flooded. It had taken a great deal of strength to fight the swirling waters and escape the near death trap, which only threw the poor lioness right into the worst of the waves.
Even the strongest of swimmers stood no chance in such furious waters, and she was lucky to have been able to dig her claws into a tree in passing. She was never much of a climber, but desperation and adrenaline did strange things to the body, and it was only moments before Uurmi found herself perched on a particularly sturdy-looking branch.
It felt like an eternity waiting for the waters to recede, and only once they had did the lioness finally make her way back down from the tree, fur soaked and limbs trembling. She was completely and utterly shell shocked. What had angered her dear friend so much to have done this to the pride? What of her family - were they safe? And the cubs of the pride! How would this affect them?

Kwaruza turned to Mahatma and shook her head.
"No. We have no certainty that this female is who she says she is..." She looked at Neith as she spoke. "But she knew of Tamu and said they are related. I have lost most of my children and my mate, I have no idea where they are and so I can't lead you. Maybe it is best, at least for now to have someone not connected as much to sort us out, her head will be in a better place then ours." She spoke softly and moved closer to Dufi as she spoke, leaning on her daughter for support. Dufi just looked confused, the white and blue female had never been exactly normal but today she looked as sad and confused as everyone else.
She smiled as others slowly started to approach and then she turned to Neith.
"So you are in charge, for now at least. Don't make us regret it." There was a slight hiss in Kwaruza's voice as if she was threatening. After all this was her home and she adored it.
----------
Neith was slightly taken a back by the shouting though at the same time it wasn't surprising. After all she was a stranger here there was no doubting about that. He was completely right.
As Kwaruza spoke she smiled a little but the sound of a threat made her stand her ground. On the plus side this had given her a chance to come in a prove herself. If she could help here then they would just accept her.
"I am only here to help." She looked at the group of lions and smiled as softly as she could.
"I am Neith, Tamu's cousin. Now we all need to work together. When that young one gets back with her supplies we will need to make an area up for her to work on any of the injured, try to find something dry to lay in the area to make them comfortable. We will also need to send out search parties - everyone is to be brought back here. You know the members of your pride and this seems as good a place as any for everyone to find each other." She looked around and then at the god wondering if there was a way he could help. She then looked back at those who were about.
"I am sure you can decide between you who will help with the injured and who will send off a search party. I will stay here with Kwaruza was it? As she seems to know what she is talking about. We can then check who is and isn't here. Are there any young cubs in the pride at the moment?" She needed to know that. After all the young ones would be the most likely to die.
She then turned to the god who had suddenly become a god. "Please tell me there is something you can do to help? You know enough about what may have happened and you obviously aren't just a normal lion." She wasn't sure whether he would be able to help or not but either way she had to ask.

Mahatma trusted Kwaruza's word. He stared at the strange lioness sternly, then nodded. "Alright. You are in charge." But he'd still remain just the slightest bit distrustful. Related to Tamu or not... She was still a lioness that came from beyond the border, and nobody had knowledge of her. Then his eyes turned to... A GOD?! Well, he'd never met one before... All he could do was stare.
Dimbwi stared, too, at the god, but for a whole different reason. As a cub, she'd grown up knowing a couple. As far as she knew, one was even her uncle. As her tail curled, she became silent, puzzling over what seemed familiar about this PARTICULAR god. Something set him apart from most of the others she'd ever run across in her lifetime.
Xavier's ears went back, surprised and put on the spot. "I am afraid all I could tell you, is all that I know..." He looked out at the water beyond. "That wave was not divine in origin." He'd seen those, they weren't nearly as forgiving when the creator was angry. His gaze then returned to the lioness. "As for what I can do... If anybody spots a body in the water... I can reach it. Immortal bodies do not tire... And I must confess a love of the water." A bit of a smile touched his maw. He was actually very pleased about where Ni'andama had decided to plop a whole pride. By the sea that he loved, and by trees that bore fruit that he loved. Suddenly his ears pricked. "When I depart, I can also ask the prides north of 'ere if any lions 'ave washed ashore in their territories, and see about 'elping the lost find 'ome."
