When Zinkenite drew back, tired... wilted and spent but...pleased. He left behind something new, remove anything...that was NOT a lieutenant one might have said to continue the artistic bent of the conversation. Remove anything that was not Benitoite.... He stepped back, letting his hand fall to his side pausing to pant for breath before offering a please nod at his handiwork.
"Welcome... Lieutenant, I am General Zinkenite... theirs a bit of a learning curve, but I think you can handle it."

He was sore, and gasping for breath. He didn't know why he seemed so out of breath right now, and he'd need something for the soreness when he got home tonight. But he'd handle that then, now was the time to answer the other. Looking up, he'd hunched over when he was released from the others hold of sorts.
"I will handle it, I will seek out those who can help me. I will learn what I can, General." A small smile curved his lips as he spoke, a certain warmth to his voice. That was when he'd noticed his clothing had changed, no longer a polo but a coat and of all things a turtle neck; in the summer! God someone wanted to test his tolerance for the heat.
The second hing noticed was a brush, but not one he'd ever owned. "It seems someone has humor in this, a paintbrush." He spoke, the smile becoming more pronounced. "I hope, over time, to prove myself worthy of your decision to include me in this battle." He didn't plan to do poorly, he'd learn and do what he needed to do. He knew he'd falter, it was bound to happen, he may be unbalanced in this new world. But he'd find his balance eventually, he wouldn't allow himself to remain unbalanced.

"We all of us start out with tools to learn with Lieutenant, you'll grow into something more dangerous if we're right and you're well suited for this life. Now..." He offered his hand again, to take this time.
"Let me show you the heart of the kingdom."
Once accepted, he would bring the new recruit with him into what was to him, the familiar anti chambers of the Dark Kingdom, and then deeper, down into the rift to relay the stories that they now knew. The terrible 'truth' behind the Terrorists that invaded their world.

"I hope I do not disappoint." And that he did gain a better weapon. For now he'd have to deal, even if it wasn't the best idea for a weapon. At least though it was something familiar.
A kingdom. Taking the others hand he trusted the smaller male. He sounded serious, that he wasn't pulling one over on him, not to mention the proof with..well bringing him into the war.
The sights he was met with, especially heading toward the rift; as he was told what it was called, were something you'd expect to see in a horror film. One of those films about ghosts and hauntings. But no, it was real and the story which went with it, he'd ask another about it also. Perhaps gain more information, but it was truly terrible.
