Obama gave me healthcare through my parents. He has done some good. XD
But the problem is, and what select few understand, he has EIGHT DISASTROUS YEARS to undo. Bush left this world in pieces like a huge jigsaw, and now Obama is sitting at the coffee table trying to put them together while all his delegates and the world scream at him to hurry. You ever rushed a jigsaw? It blows. XD
Anyways, I know you didn't insult the President, but on the matter of him sucking, I just feel he deserves a little more credit than that.

The main problem is that there's no such thing as compromise anymore. When Democrats had the House, Senate and the Presidency, they tried to do the right thing- working for compromise and stuff. Then when it wasn't an instant fix lots of people got pissed off- and the best scape goat was the first Black President. rolleyes
So a bunch of otherwise moderate and reasonable people who understand they can't get everything they want jumped ship and joined the freaking Birthers/Tea Party movement where there is no such thing as facts, reason or compromise.

iLegoBlock Ok. Im from Canada, and Im confussed. Let me get this straight. Obama, was voted in, and it was an amazing thing all around the world. Now, he sucks? And he's a terrible president yes?
+Canadians government is no better. We re-elected the same conservative tool, who wants to make fighter jets. Was there something missing, cause making fighter jets isn't really a bad thing... is he choosing those over something else or something?

We have no need for fighter jets, because we are never actually in wars. We are always just 'peace keeping' which is still a waste of lives. It would be like a country buying tons of mining equiptment when they have no places to mine. Its a waste of our money, which could be spent better at home.

You know, what you just said, was really eye opening for me. Honestly, no sarcasm at all. I am one of those people that says: "You have a peace army? What happens when some b*****d is holding a nuclear bomb to your face? Surrender." But honestly. You have a PEACE ARMY, and your country has never been in a world war... That's honestly the most commendable thing. The U.S has always wanted to bring peace and prosperity to the world. And they do it by taking WMD's to countries where there are innocent children in the line of fire. That's special. But Canada, may as well have figured out a way to not give a s**t about everyone else and handled their own business in a timely and orderly manner. I am sure Canada has its flaws. But what country doesn't?
You have really changed my mind about Canada. It is kind of silly to make fun of Canada for having a peace army. "How DARE you not have guns and WMD'S and kill babies and rape wiminz."
I know where IIIII am moving when s**t hits the fan....

im sorry i dont understand why anyone would vote for obama. let alone for a second time. i dont have anything against him, or his ideas (most of them anyways) but he doesnt have the expeirence. being president is one of the hardest jobs especially considering the size, complexity, and internationally dependency of this country. he's made many mistakes as president and i think someone else needs a turn while he goes get some experience actually governing people before coming back to tackle a nation again.
im not going into how much i deteste him being re-elected and the many mistakes he made, but really. he wants another chance, fine. but im only willing to give it to him once he's proven himself capable.

well an argument ive seen is that obama is sucking because he's picking up the peices bush supposedly left. so that means that all of bush's suckiness was because he was picking up the pieces left behind from reagan. and so on, so forth whatever.

I haven't been following American politics much lately, but I have to say that no one has really struck me as being particularly....suitable for the position of commander in chief. :s I will say, though, that the idea of Michelle Bachman as president is terrifying. sweatdrop ..s.k.i.t.t.l.e.s.. You know, what you just said, was really eye opening for me. Honestly, no sarcasm at all. I am one of those people that says: "You have a peace army? I know where IIIII am moving when s**t hits the fan.... We don't have a peace army. Our military is often involved in peacekeeping missions, usually at the request of the UN or a country with which we're allied, which is not the same thing as a "peace army". We were heavily involved in both World Wars. In WWII alone we lost 45,000 people. We were also involved in the Korean War, the Gulf War, and Afghanistan, to name a few. No, my country does not have nuclear weapons. Guns, though? Yes. Along with a wide variety of other weapons. We need to be able to defend ourselves (and others), and that requires spending money on weaponry. I have an incredible amount of respect for the men and women serving in the Canadian military (it's not a job I could ever do), but I don't think your impression of our military is quite accurate. razz (The recent purchase of the fighter jets, though? Not a wise financial decision. xp Guhhh. So many other useful things the military could use that money for...)
