"No, I wasn't planning on patrolling any more tonight. Um... well, to be honest, I wasn't planning on patrolling at all. I was reading in the library when your call came." Pasiphae colored as she admitted her plans to Chaonis; he had been busy fighting while she had decided to take a break. It was just... not the mental image she wanted him to have of her. "I mean, I was glad to come and help, but... yeah, I'll probably be going home too." She just cut herself off there to keep herself from babbling. Chaonis was tired. He wanted to go home. She needed to let him go home.
With that in mind, she fidgeted slightly with her gloves, nervous but very sincere when she added, "Just... be careful, on the way home? After all of this... I wouldn't want you to get hurt."

The library. Just mentioning it made him want to wrinkle his nose, but he tried to keep that opinion, at least, to himself.
"Sounds like a plan," he said, shrugging his shoulders. At least she didn't have to worry about him judging her for taking it easy. He did, when he wanted to. Which was often, particularly when he didn't have newbies or youma to pick on. And after a bad night like tonight, he was going to need some gaming and relaxing time for sure.
At her comment he sighed, his expression softening a bit.
"I will. You too. Call me if you need me, I mean it. I guess I owe you one now, so make it count." Of course, he would come to her aid if she called him regardless, but he still had some pride left. He grinned at her, clapping her on the shoulder by way of a thank you, then made to walk off.
Slowly. He was trying to look cool, not very battered and sore. It almost worked.

As mousy as she could be, the Shame Senshi couldn't help but smile when Chaonis grinned at her, the hand on her shoulder reassuring her that, whatever anxities she possessed, tonight she had done a good job. If only for a fleeting moment, she felt like she had done something... right.
"I will! Take care, Chaonis," Pasiphae called to his retreating form. She then turned to head towards her own home, pressing her hands gingerly against her stomach and chest to check for areas of bruising. She wasn't looking forward to being black and blue, but... it was worth it, in this case.
