"My schedule doesn't give me a day off. I've got 3 classes on Saturday and 2 on Sunday, 5 the rest of the week. I think because it's a private school, they're able to lock us up more. Plus I'm not the one who gets to pick my classes." He shrugged. And since he lived on campus, sneaking out was really his only freedom.
"That was hardly a pun." Angelo looked at him from under his veil of hair. "But I'll forgive you since it is an antiquated practice. There have to be better ways to teach, right?"
Oh, they found the exhibit? Well, that was good. He followed Alastar and almost ran into him. He hadn't thought about it as ambushing. Really, Angelo was just bored, and someone his own age would be better then wandering around among adults. "Hm." He tried to think of what he was interested in. "Sure. You like swimming?" He stepped around Alastar to look at some old tablet thing behind a thick case of glass.

"Hmm... Sounds like a strict school, makes me kind of appreciate Applereach a little more... This Tidal Heights place sounds kind of prestigious though, there must be some perks to going to a school like that?" After all there had to be something to gain from subjecting your kids to that kind of torment, right?
Alastar's face lite up as he looked about at the exhibition, he quickly started wandering through looking at the artifacts on display. Much he had seen or read about before in books or other museums and he tended to walk past with a cursory glance. Occasionally though an exhibit would catch his interest and he'd stand for a several minutes, examining it and soaking in as much detail as he could. He'd almost forgotten about his companion, until he caught a glimpse of Angelo's reflection in a glass display case. "Oh, sorry; got distracted for a bit... What were we saying? Oh, right swimming! Ya, actually I enjoy swimming. You can get a good workout like running, but you don't get as stressed or end up as sweaty and rank. Come to think of it I haven't gone swimming once since my family moved here. Is there a pool you go to in town, or does your school have it's own facilities?"

"I guess." He responded. "Apparently graduating from there looks good on resumes and junk. I hear every college will want you and finding jobs will be pretty easy. I don't believe it though." It seemed so far-fetched that just graduating from a school like that would have you set for life.
"Well, there is a pool on campus, sure. But if I'm avoiding classes, I'm not about to go back for a swim. There's a public pool though. It's good enough for me." He sighed for a moment as he stared at the tablets under the glass. "I wonder if kids back then hated school too. I mean, there wasn't as much history to learn." He mused slightly. 'Back then' was in reference to times around ancient Egypt, but did Alastar know that? Angelo wasn't about clarify. It should be obvious, right? They were in this exhibit after all.
