The hit caught her on the chin making her taste blood, her jaw, in her mind, landing about 6 feet from where they lay. Ouch. That would leave a nice bruise in the morning. Yet Sailor Ate almost laughed as she moved her mouth slowly in response, trying to crack it back into place.
"I do enjo-oy these things...rough!" she barked out as the weight of him made the air in her lungs fight to escape. She felt like she was going to explode as she tossed from side to side finally gaining a leverage with a water pipe coming out of the closest wall, her free hand grabbing it so she could push her weight into him, toppling him over with her so she ended up on top. It was hard, it took all her energy to finally get him to roll over and be the one with the filthy floor to his back. Gaining the slight upper hand she moved till she was straddling him, her legs further up his chest as she breathed heavily. "God he was right."
"I am a smoker you know...can't even w-walk up the stairs without getting o-out of breath!" she wheezed a little. It was slightly unnerving watching a supposed Sailor Scout get this tired so quickly into a fight but this was her first one. There would be time for improvement....hopefully. Yet it would cost her right now as she took the chance instead to land another few punches but to breath in deeply and rest her body. It was only a few seconds, but enough for anyone to decide how this fight was to end.

Chaonis was surprised to find himself on his back, staring up at her, but he gave her a devious grin when he caught on to the fact that she had no energy for fighting him. He put his hands behind the back of his head, reclining leisurely as she sat on top of him, watching her catch her breath.
"If you're this tired this fast, you're going to be s**t out of luck in a real fight."
He imagined she knew that as well as he did, if not better since she was experiencing it first hand. He had actually cut back significantly on smoking, and was on his way to quitting, because he had notice it impacting the way he was able to fight. He couldn't do as much damage as he wanted to if he was constantly out of breath.
So he had begun to quit for that reason, and not for something p***y like people telling him it was 'bad' for him. Or because his dad asked him to a number of times.
He kept a pack around the house, just so his dad still thought he was smoking. No 'I told you so' moments for Tony.
After that short break, Chaonis moved and lashed out, swinging his elbow at her cheek to knock her sideways and off of him. After that, though, he would call an end to the match. There was no point beating the hell out of each other: he had seen what she could do.
Enough, but she needed a lot more training.

Ok more blood was obviously on the menu as the cut inside her mouth from the first blow exploded into the river that she spat out on the floor. Yummy. She skidded onto her side catching the gravel and the undesirable clutter of the alley way floor across her fuku and without so much as a winning effort lashed out with her heeled foot and kicked him in the leg. Not hard, not anything really. Just playful. It seemed Venice could sense the end too and was admitting defeat with a...hit of all things.
"Haha..Ok you win! Uncle or what ever the safety word was for this thing!" She winced pulling herself up first into a sitting position and then standing, using the wall as support as she tested out her limbs. Ow, ow, ow. Everything hurt and the sudden need to pull out another cigarette was only barely avoided, giving the helpful advice Chaonis had given her a once over.
"Yeah *phew* I guess your right...thirty a day is a little excessive...only a little though " She started trying to smile but the golf ball sized lump that was forming under her cheek was giving her a lopsided grimace as she touched in gingerly.
"Your lucky I didnt go too rough on you, that pretty face of yours has to pay the bill somehow!" Her laugh was boisterous, not something one would expect from a girl just being beaten up but either way she was still taking the piss out of the eternal Sailor scout.

Chaonis nodded his head, watching her as she spat the blood on the floor. Gross, he thought, though his expression didn't reflect the thought at all. truly, blood was just a part of life. He had taken a few hits in his time, and knew what it was like to cut the inside of his mouth. So he was well used to seeing blood all over the place.
It wouldn't have been a very good fight without any, right?
Her kick went unchallenged, save for a pompous grin that it promoted. He put his hands on his hips, standing proudly and staring at her with his dark, keen eyes. he didn't have to say anything at all to rub it in as effectively as he knew how to.
so why waste time with words?
As she spoke, he rolled his eyes, but his grin didn't fade. He had actually had fun, and was very keen on keeping up with this senshi, seeing if he could aid her and teach her to be stronger. She was already more than capable, but her confidence played a large part in that as well.
A kindred spirit, it seemed.
"I'm lucky huh? I'll remember that for next time. I went easy on you, too. You know, no hitting ladies and all that. I guess we'll have to meet up again, and figure go all out."
Really, he was asking her to train with him.

The black glove on her right hand was now being used to stem the cut on her mouth, the metallic taste lacing her tongue as she rubbed her hip with the other, her body was starting to gain a familiar ache that reminded her of Roller derby. She got pretty beaten up after a match but no matter how much she didnt want to admit it this boy hit harder, it was starting to hurt.
"Ha! You call that easy? I would hate to see you putting your a** into it." She nodded as she aimed a playful punch at his arm, her mouth turning up into a wide grin as she started to walk away.
"Ohh you know just what to say to please a lady!" Her arms had crossed over her ample chest as she stood with a playful smirk on her face, her hair damp from sweat sticking to her cheeks as she shook her head slowly.
"How could i ever say no to a proposal like that? Its a date gorgeous!" She quickly slipped her senshi cell phone from her sash and scanned the eternal before her, the data safely being stored with the others as she flipped it shut.
"Now dont be falling in love with me! Next time we go all out, till then hard a**!" As if a electric current had run through the concrete Venice skipped back, once, twice and then gone into the shadows. The soft patter of her heels echoing into the night....with possibly a slight limp.
