"Yeth shark is big aninamal who live in sea, wif big teef!" Dylan nodded with satisfaction and plonked himself down across from Yamya picking at the grass like she was "Want food?" he asked after a while, remembering the big picnic he had just walked away from.
Ilusen grinned "Yes, he does have a sister... but i wouldnt exactly say they get on. I dont think they can go for 5 seconds without biccering on at each other, and some of the fights they get themselves into are quite scary, its hard to break them up." She bit her lip absent mindedly then added "But they dont actually hurt each other, so there's gotta be some love there huh?"

Yamya tilted her head.
'Yoo fish den?' she asked. She knew fish lived in the sea and couldnt work out what the boy was doing here. She nodded, scrambling to her feet and toddling over to the picnic area.
'Well siblings are often like that. I'm sure when they are a little older they might be able to tolerate each other's company better.' Sayuri looked over as Yamya and Dylan approached.
'Uh oh, two hungry toddlers heading this way.' she chuckled.

Ilusen glanced over to the advancing toddlers and smiled "So they are." she said as Dylan neared. He sat down beside her and replied to yamya "yeth me phish" Ilusen giggled at his lisp, she really shouldnt but it was too funny. Dylan scowled at her
"Im sorry darling" she appolgized then looked over to sayuri "His teeth will probably start coming in soon im so looking forward to the teething pains he'll get..." she gritted her teeth and ruffled his hair slightly "Me hungy, food?" dylan said as he helped himself to a cheese stick and some crisps.

Sayuri handed over a tuna fish sandwich as Yamya approached. The little feline toddler sniffed it and then screwed her face up;
'This fish?'
Sayuri nodded.
'Yes, you know it is. It's your favourite.' she wondered why Yamya wasnt tucking into it as usual. Yamya burst into tears;
'No wan ea Dylan!' she sobbed. Sayuri patted Yamya, scooping her close.
'No no, its not a Dylan fishie, its another fishie. See Dylan is a BIG fish who likes little fish for eating.'
Yamya looked up, nose and eyes running;
'ealy?' she managed.
'Yes..its not Dylan fishie at all.'

Ilusen looked in puzzlement towards dylan as the little girl burst into tears, had he said something to upset her? she raised an eyebrow at him and he looked idignant "No me." he said backing himself up "She fink fith samwich is me" he giggled innocently and tucked into one himself
Ilusen rolled her eyes at him, he could be so greedy sometimes. She tried to comfort yamya "Oh dear, that fish is tuna fish, not shark. Dylan is eating it too look" she pointed to her little boy sitting across from her, who was helping himself to a second sandwich.

'See?' Sayuri patted Yamya, pulling out a tissue from a pack in the basket. Yamya honked on it noisily, handing back the sogginess and Sayuri put it in the bag she had brought along for rubbish.
'..kay,' she hiccuped, sliding off Sayuri and stuffing the sandwich in her mouth.
'Yu like phishy too?' she managed, hugging her tail to herself as she watched Dylan eat.

( appologies for the late reply ive been in belgium lol )
Dylan chomped down another sandwich and nodded "Yeth" he said with a mouth full, he glanced towards his mother warily concerned she might of noticed him talking with his mouth full. She always got angry at that, and he didnt really understand why, if he wanted to talk he would. "Pisthy good." he said grinning then standing up again "Bored!" he exclaimed to Ilusen, who was finishing a sandwich of her own.

'They bounce back so quick don't they?' Sayuri commented as she watched Yamya shovelling the food in her mouth then scramble to her feet.
Yamya had wiped her mouth on her tail, leaving crumbs and tuna flakes on the fur.
'Wan see 'ucks?' she asked, pointing down the grass to the inviting looking lake where the poor fowl were unaware of the small horrors about to descend on them.

"what is uck?" dylan questioned, he turned to his mom in search of an answer "Oh ducks! they are birds who swim on the water dylan" Ilusen smiled, "shall we go see them?" she asked turning to Sayuri aswell "If you dont mind of coruse."

'We should go with them,' Sayuri agreed, quickly covering the open food up so that flies wouldnt land on it. She stood, walking slowly after Yamya who had tugged on Dylan's sleeve before running off down the slope towards the lake.
Yamya ran fast to the edge, pinwheeling by the water and then flopping back. Her ears twitched in relief...the one thing this little cat girl didnt want to do was go in the water! She turned to see where Dylan was, before peering across the lake at the distant floating waterfowl.

Dylan ran after yamya down the hill, Ilusen bit her lip nervously as he hurtled towards the water, she half wanted to run after him but decided that she wasnt up to running anymore. She still hadnt recovered fully from chasing him round the park an hour ago.
Much to her relief he came to a sudden halt just on the waters edge and looked over to yamya, "Water good" he said and half grinned half smirked. And with that he took a dive off the edge of the water and landed with an almighty splash into it, the ducks who were a few meters away from this utter chaos yet floated down unawares.
Ilusen closed her eyes, utterly fuming at her little boy, then ran down to where he was splashing about totally ignorant of the utter fuss he had just made "Dylan... Dylan!!..." she had wished he had a full name so that her utter irritation could be shown in one statement "GET OUT OF THE WATER THIS INSTANT!" she bellowed. "Im so sorry Sayuri... he is so naughty sometimes!"

Yamya ducked out the way just in time as the spray Dylan's water dive splashed about on the lakes edge. Her tail bushed up, fur bristling at the boy's behaviour. She had almost gotten wet! Sayuri hid her laughter behind a hand, then nodded at Ilusen.
'That's okay...children misbehave, there wasnt anything to be done to stop him. His element is the water after all.'

Dylan looked sheepish and sloped out of the water, dripping from head to toe he tried not to giggle at his mom, she always looked funny when she was mad. "Thorry...." he said looking at his shoes, which incidentally were flooded with water and made a squelch as he walked.
"Its ok Dylan, just dont do that again, its dangerous in water you dont know about, there are things called currents which can drag you under.." She bent down and took his shoes and socks off so he wasnt too uncomfortable. "Fortunately its a warm day today dylan, so ill think you'll dry off quickly. Now go feed the ducks with yamya" she ushered him back down to the side of the river "And stay out of the water this time!" she shouted back to him, rolling her eyes to sayuri "Seriously, i dont know what im going to do with that boy!"

Yamya wrinkled her nose, ears twitching as she tried not to giggle at the soggy mess that was Dylan. Sayuri handed the cat girl a bag of bread crusts for the ducks, and she pointed to where the ducks where paddling about.
'Come..' Yamya gestured to Dylan before pattering off towards the waterfowl. Sayuri pulled out the fan tucked in her obi and fluttered it against her face, grinning over it at Ilusen.
'Well you definately have your hands full there.' she snapped it shut again.
'But he seemed to know he had done wrong which is a good thing.'
