Jove peered over the counter, and then watched as Seiji scribbled things down on the paper. When it was finally passed his way he noticed his friend had filled out much of the form on his behalf. Although why they needed so much information was beyond him.
He barely glanced at the giant blocks of text before writing down his own name. The pup's handwriting had improved since arriving at the school, it was starting to develop some flow, and appeared less like blocky child's writing. All those assignments had been good for something!
Finally he followed the ghoul to a small area that looked almost like a casual vet's office. Instead of an examination table there were only chairs. Jove took a seat, for the first time his tail drooping and betraying a slight sense of unease. He had to remind himself that this wasn't a veterinarian's office, and look to Seiji for a little bit of reassurance. What were all the things on the counter for?

Once seated Seiji had pulled his phone from his pocket to check for any missed calls or messages. He looked up though when he felt eyes on him, brows arching at the expression on Jove's face. Now he seemed nervous, but not for quite the reason he should be. "You ok, buddy?"
He could see how the little partition could be a little disconcerting if you'd never been in this sort of situation before. It reminded him of a doctors office. Hell, it even smelled like one, but that was a good place. Meant it was clean, sterile. You wanted that in a piercing or tattoo parlor. Well you would if you were among the living, less chance for infection. It did mean they knew what they were doing though, and that was good for anyone considering a bit of body modification.
"It's a little like a doctors office, but in this case that's actually a good thing. At least here you know exactly what you're in for." Or at least you should. He still wasn't convinced Jove knew what exactly a piercing entailed.

Jove nodded quickly, trying to cover his discomfort. Why would it be good for an earring place to smell like a vet office? It was easy to understand why Seiji would be calm and relaxed, he had done this before, but Jove had no frame of reference in this situation. He didn't even know it was something that could be done in an unsafe manner, and thus a certain level of precaution had to be taken.
Instead of reassuring him, the precaution put him on edge. It was like going to a simple math test and being told there were paramedics on hand... just in case.
