Ulmuka wanted in too! She let people in one by one. He was about to express his displeasure at not being allowed in but the sign did clearly read that they should approach. He watched the extremely muscular man enter and looked at Syb, making a huge muscles motion with his hands. The dragon boil also was let in. Seemed like it should be his turn!
He waved for Sybaline to follow him but knew that her actions were her own. The strix stepped forward and rested his taloned hand on the door that had just closed behind Jericho.
"I seek entrance as well." He grinned to the feminine-voiced figure. "Please."
No reason not to be polite!

"Muka!!" Syb said happily, squealing with joy as he swung her around. "Oh, I'm so happy to see you, too, but we need to go beat on the door now," she said, pointing at the door. "That's what that boil did to get in, right?" she told Muka.
"But--" She stopped as she saw Jericho go in as well. "I've approached the tomb," she said. "Please let me in?"

Invictus seemed pleased by the small show of respect from the figure, tilting his own head in turn in acknowledgment; he wouldn't just be blind to the respect he was given. He knew fully he had to earn it, and be respectful in turn when showed it.
However, he was given no answer. Therefore, his next question was simple;
"Allow me to see for myself if you cannot answer for me."
It wasn't a question.
"You can allow me to do that much, yes?"

Sebastian was naturally attracted to the tomb of course. The creepy decor, the stench of the dead- it was all home to him. The breeze wasn't exactly ah ... welcome. The feeling of ... thrill was a bit foreign- after all, he didn't really "feel" many sensations anymore. Emotions, certainly, but not sensations like cold or hot.
Still, he couldn't keep himself away from the tomb. It was so ornate, and nicely designed too. It was a work of art in itself.
Glancing over at the figure, he assumed it would be polite to ask before entering. "Ah ... is this your tomb ma'am?" Wait that was probably a pretty stupid question. The woman looked rather ... alive, so it probably wasn't hers.
"What I mean is uhm ... are you ... are you guarding it?" he spluttered. Gosh, could he be any more awkward about this? He hung his head and finally said, "May I go in, madmoiselle?" There, that was probably polite enough. Lucky for Seb, his hood was on. Didn't want to scare off the lady the second she laid eyes on him. Then again, she didn't really look faint of heart.

Sin was drawn to the tomb her heart thudding softly in her chest and her tongue sliding out to moisten her lips. It was dark and cold, it reminded her of home because along with being eerie it was also beautiful. The white marble was opulent reminding her of the ballroom at home. The weeping angles made her muscles flex and bunch as a shiver ran down her spine, she wondered if she was being a fool to wonder if the statues moved once they tired of tearless sobbing. As she came closer though she frowned at the grayed wash of everything as if it hadn't been polished or taken care of.
Her head tilted as she read the words on the doors her brows drawing together uncertainly. Approach the Tomb, it seemed a simple enough request, but why? She turned a bit and then gasped softly and jumped a bit. Oh, it was only someone in a cloak, wow Sin way to be paranoid. She laughed lightly and flashed the stranger a slow smile.
"You startled me...I was just admiring this...area..." She turned back to the tomb for a moment as if considering then turned back to the cloaked figure. Her voice softened into a more flirtatious tone, her smile fixed in place. "Care to escort me in?"

Ys accepted the birdish boil's proffered hand with a bob of her head and a nervous but toothy smile as she shook it heartily. "I am Ys, niccce to meet you." She nodded to the others who had gathered as well and included them, "Greetingsss to all of you." She had been so focused on the two mysterious figures that she hadn't noticed exactly how many had gathered about the place until they started to speak up.
Even after revealing that they did, in fact, have voices, the two figures were still rather uncanny in the Deep One's opinion. She shifted from foot to foot as the bold student was granted entrance, watching the proceedings with unabashed curiosity. Her attention was caught by the approach of even more new haunts, and then instantly recaptured by the cloaked figure speaking once more. Ah, so this is how it works.
She stepped forward and stood firm, despite a nagging misgiving in the back of her mind about the prospect of a dank underground place. The idea of having leagues of stone over her head gave her the shivers, so she did her best not to think about it. "May I enter assss well?" Another question popped into her head on the heels of the one just asked. "Will you be coming with usss?" It was addressed to the two guides, guards, whoever they really were. They seemed to know what this place was about, so it might be a good idea to have them around.

INSIDE THE TOMBThose who had been allowed to enter the crypt and follow the winding staircase down into the darkness would find the pathway a little narrow for comfort, shoulders brushing against cool, almost slimy marble as the light from the moon and the torches slowly disappeared. Only the most petite of students would find themselves able to avoid brushing against the walls, and only those with longer sleeves might avoid the deathly chill that slithered along your spine if you happened to brush up against the stone. And it was a long way down. It would take a good five minutes for any to reach the bottom, even at a relatively fast pace, but with the steepness of the steps it was not generally advised. Little drops of water, too, could be heard dripping from the ceiling, leaking through the marble from the soil above, leaving some of the steps a little slick and the silence that had been so eerie up on the surface shattered. Well, at least they had that going for them. Except, it seemed, they had traded one sense for another. The farther they traveled downward, the darker it got, until it was as if the student was completely blind -- even glowing eyes or self-created fire seemed to be extinguished within seconds by something... strange in the air.
The first sign of any change was a faint blue glow that reflected off the greyed marble, flickering a little like some sort of flame. Continue downward, and the spiral staircase would finally level off into solid ground, large dark stones the floor of the tomb. There was very little light in here, far less than there had been up on the surface -- without the moon, there was only the faint orange of the torches that littered the circular room, casting a saffron glow. If one looked closely, they could notice two heavy wooden doors directly on either side of the center of the room, one to the east and one to the west. Each had a small lock, but beyond that it was impossible to tell without further inspection. But it was, by far, what lay straight ahead that would capture the most attention, the bright blue flames drawing the eye to the magnificent door which stood directly in front of them across the room, caged with bars and a giant skull lock.
It seemed that one would be harder to get into. Perhaps you should take a look around first... things might become a little clearer. OOC: As a note, there is no real storyline to this, so don't worry if you haven't made it here yet. You aren't missing anything, and you won't, MOST events in this game are individualized, and the ones that are not will be repeated MANY times, so you will have plenty of chances. Also, a reminder (for those who may just look at this post and not the first page) -- You may not rp entering the tomb unless you have been granted access!

It seemed Eris had followed Invicitus along the winding path to the tomb, the sound of her heels, normally a sound which would ring much like the clicking of hoofs against stone, muffled against the dirt. She made no attempt to try to sneak up on him -- while it was possible for the horsemen to sneak up on each other, it ended up normally taking a lot of work, with their heightened paranoia skill set. Instead, she merely wrapped her arms around the Heir of Conquest's shoulders, resting her chin against one as she peered over it at the others in the group, eyeing them curiously.
"Hmm... this seems... interesting..." she spoke after a moment, tone low and obviously teasingly sarcastic. Straightening up, she peered at each of the remaining students before smiling a little, stepping forward to seat herself on a tombstone nearby -- it seemed they wouldn't be going anywhere unless they answered the riddle. The silent riddle. "So does anyone have any speculation as to how to get in?"
((Not asking the bonesman a question 'cause I edited my post;;; derp, sorry~))

The hooded figure took a step back, allowing those she had given access to pass into the belly of the tomb. It seemed obvious, however, that any who tried to muscle their way in would find themselves quite surprisingly unable to do so -- although her form seemed slim beneath the robe, there was a subtle undertone of strength that might have lead some to believe that she might surprise them. Then again, there wasn't anything particularly threatening about her, save the general eeriness of the tomb itself... it didn't look like she would hold it against anyone, should they wish to try.
Turning her head slowly towards Ulmuka, the hooded figure watched calmly as he stepped forward, her gloved fingers laced together in front of her.
"I apologize -- access has not been granted as of yet for you," she replied, unseen gaze turning to Syb next, "Unfortunately, approaching the tomb does not grant access." Vague questions gave vague answers, it seemed.
Invictus' question had been completely missed before, so when he spoke up again, the hooded figure paused for a moment, as if rewinding the memories in her mind to find what he had said. When she had apparently found her answer, there was a slow shake of her head in answer to the questions he asked. To the first, she did speak a verbal reply, tone ever patient.
"There are no risks -- only opportunities."
Sebastian and Sin's approach warranted a slightly glance from the hooded figure, signified by the way the hood shifted again, watching them as they approached. For them, however, she did not speak until Sin had nearly walked right into her, unmoving despite the hazard of the collision. When the succubus jumped, there may have been just the slightest air of curiosity in the air, emitted by the figure -- if one could see beneath her hood, she might have been quirking an eyebrow. Instead of replying, however, she answered Sebastian first, waiting patiently for him to ask all three questions before answering. "It is we who guard the entrance to the tomb, correct," she replied, clearly indicating the other hooded figure, who hadn't moved, "I apologize, neither of you have been granted access yet." Glancing over at Ys, it seemed the aquatic Halloweentowner was included in this statement. Her second question, however, brought another air of curiosity, a thoughtfulness passing over the hooded figure.
"... should you desire it," she replied, as if the thought had never crossed her mind before.
It seemed none had been granted entrance this time... Perhaps you should conspire with your friends. Multiple heads were always better than one.

Heading on down the winding stairs, Jericho looked on about while being sure to tuck in his wings as tightly as he could. It was a tight fit in here, but there were those who would have more difficulty squeezing through he figured... namely the large ghost in the area.
Then again, he was a ghost, so perhaps not.
Reaching the room down below, the dragon stared at the north door, intrigued by the blue flames and the intricate design. There were also the doors at either side. Perhaps something in one of those rooms would allow him to pass the north door.
So, Jericho went over to the west door and looked to see if there was anything about it that might be useful. He also went ahead and attempted to open the door to see if it really was locked.

Israfel looked at the tomb. In his mind he was forming some quick conclusions about it. It was big, and it was creepy and it reminded him of Breck's shed. The shed of the unspeakable. It also had some stuff happening around it. And maybe in it. Looking at the place, the instructions he shuffled his way up, head tilting at the imposing figures before him. The odd feeling he got from the area played on him. Closing his eyes he took a deep breath to calm himself down. Nothing on the grounds could really harm him. Not at a school eve- Wait. This was a school event. Feathers ruffled as the cold nipped at him, and he that funny drink he got earlier was coming back to leave an ever weirder taste in his mouth. Or maybe that was the tiny burp. One of the two. Still he looked back, the glow of the festival far behind. Still the tomb stood in all its worn glory. He had fought elves and trees. Survived the supposed spring break. This? This was nothing. He could do this. Walking up he stopped short of the tomb and the figures.
"Would you mind if I went inside?" He suddenly felt a bit awkward and mumbled out. "You let Jericho in, 'and he might just Voi rage on everything..."

Seemed like the figure wasn't going to talk. Maybe it was a statue? Perhaps a gargoyle? That would make most sense. Gargoyle's were fond of guarding things after all. Perhaps, just perhaps she was standing their, just judging them in some sort of eerie way, but that was not probable. It would be hard to obtain that ... stillness without some sort of natural skill for it.
Sebastian had taken a step towards the tomb when the cloaked figure suddenly moved and talked. He was a tad startled- not scared, just not expecting the voice- so he jumped a little and turned around. A little irritated though, Sebastian questioned "Why not? I asked you politely and everything..." Maybe there was more to this than meets the eye. A test of wits perhaps?
Desire it? Now what was that supposed to mean? Hadn't asking meant he clearly desired entrance to the tomb? Sebastian scratched his head and said, "... Ah, je regrette. That was ... tres tres impoli. Is there a reason I can't?" He thought for a moment. "I ... would like to approach, but I can't see why I'm not being let in? Perhaps you could elaborate?"
Facing Sin and Syb, Sebastian waved a little to get their attention and said, "Shall we ... go in together?," he paused to gesture to the cloak and said, "Of course, that's only if we're allowed. Je ne voudrais pas empieter~" He said the last sentence with a bit of edge, so as to possibly encourage the madame to let them in.

Muka looked rather disappointed at not being allowed in. In fact, none of them had been allowed. She'd only let the those three boils pass. What did they do that he didn't?
He turned to those gathered, perking a bit at the prospect of a puzzle. Of course his outward excitement was just hiding annoyance. He wasn't very good at puzzles.
"Well everyone.." His head tilted and he crossed his arms. "It appears we just aren't catching on to something."
Was it how they worded things? There was a boil who kept speaking in french and Muka didn't know french so he just sort of quirked his head in his direction.

There was a mysterious chill in the air, one that sent shivers up your spine and made you want to look behind encase something was going to jump out. It also made poke smirk to herself, eying the secretive path that she had somehow found. The moon had shone at just the right time that she had passing by. Any other time, and she would have missed it.
She had traveled down the path, glancing around as the scenery took a turn for the more stereotypical grave look, and stopped when she saw the tomb lay ahead.
Now this...this was more like it! Stuff the stupid pink glittery crap, lets fight some zombies!
...okay maybe not (they'd probably be some geeky students or something) but hey, there where some others up ahead. Walking closer, the dragon ghoul was able to see and hear the group who were figuring out how to gain access into the tomb. She also saw the two cloaked figures whom were answering question, but the answers seemed cryptic. She soon figured out that they had to solve some sort of riddle in order to enter, and it apparently had something to do with the words chisled out on the door.
...Okay then
Poke wasn't the most brilliant of people, but she wasn't the stupidest either. So, she decided to do the most logical thing she could think of doing, which was to do what the writing said. She approached the tomb, getting close enough that she could reach out and touch the door if she wanted to. She had heard the cloaked figure saying there were no risks. Did that mean she could try barging her way in if she wanted to? That would be fun, but then this place looked like the kind that would curse you if you tried to touch something you weren't supposed to, plus the cloaked figures had ''I'm mysterious" written all over them. They probably had a scythe hidden somewhere ready to behead her if she tried something.
"Ummm..excuse me" she asked the cloaked figures. "I've approached the tomb...can I try to open the door?"

Syb frowned, happy to be a part of a group, but not happy with being denied in the wondrous looking tomb. "Well," she said slowly, "even if they were the ones that let the boils in, whose to say there's not a door knob or some sort of mechanical way of entering on your own?" she asked the others, curling a little bit closer to Muka because inwardly she was pouting.
"May we touch the tomb?" she asked the cloaked ghoul... or lady. She couldn't tell with all the shadows. "So we can see? Back home there's all sorts of crazy ways to open doors! In fact think she has something against doorknobs, now that I think about it. Does anyone see a candlestick?"
