The ringing, what did it mean!
The chimera girl had found the source easy enough, slitted eyes narrowing on the handle to the door as others took their turn in attempting to decode it. It didn't seem as though many were having much luck with it, as one by one they approached then turned away and left. She was intrigued.
Straightening from where she had crouched off to the side, the ghoul took her place in gathering pf folks that counted for a line, lips pursed as she continued to watch the others. Still no luck so far.
Once she approached the door she turned her rather eager attention down to the handle and its number dial, pale fingers twitching before coming to rest on it. Wiggling the thing back and forth as she mused over a number before finally settling on one at random. It didn't budge, and that only seemed to enhance her curiosity more.
Smirking faintly she took her leave.

Cervantes had never owned any kind of telephone object, so when the ringing drifted across to him, he hunted for its source with a curiosity that might have bordered on fanatic if it hadn't been so easy to find its source. As he approached the strange box object, he flicked his tail back and forth, the metal tip slicing through the air. He was curious, impatient, and disliked obstacles which he could not conquer with sheer force of will-- or strength of muscles. Not that he was particularly strong, yet. If he was, he wouldn't be trying so hard to be accepted into Amityville. He crouched in front of the box, ran one nail along its edges and tried to listen to what might be inside. Well, he couldn't hear much of anything, really.
The bones braided into his hair clacked against one another as he slid the sharp metal edge of his tail along where he figured the box should open, trying to pry whatever door there may be out of its resting state.
Absolutely nothing happened, so Van stood up, stared at the box one more time, and mumbled, "I'll be back for you later... with reinforcements."

Yroul had been standing in line for a while, being the bad boy he was, giving off some sneers and sad smiles to ghouls that passed him by. This box looked to be pretty impossible, but if Yroul could do it, imagine how sexy he would be. Oh yes, very sexy indeed.
Finally, it was his turn. He looked at the keypad, scrunching up his face to try and figure out a code. He punched in the series "1 2 3 4" and hit the enter key. Nothing.
Shrugging, he walked away, deciding to come back tomorrow.

Something was ringing.
Which logically meant someone needed to answer the ringing sound. It sounded suspiciously like a skellyphone's default ringtone, after all...
Kallos made his way around the festival, somewhat hesitant as to what he was supposed to be doing at that moment. It was then that he'd heard that alluring ringing sound.
The ghost had quickly spotted the source, an old boogy box, and the line of people trying. Might as well try after all. This didn't really look too scary... As he got up to the dial, he looked it over, then gave it a spin. It's not like he'd be able to guess the number anyway.
Apparently his guess wasn't effective though, as the door remained locked. Oh well, it probably would have been scary inside anyway...With that thought, the haunt moved out of the way for others to try, and went back to the rest of the festival.
((I originally used Moure in this post, but after seeing GMs posts in the main thread, I realized that I'd rather use Kallos for the entire event than Moure (since we weren't sure if you could only use one of them), so I switched them in this post, since it doesn't affect anything in this, I thought. (Since it wouldn't effect the outcome of this rice roll, so I figured it was alright to do.) If that's not allowed, please let me know. ^^; ))

Sin was curious and she felt the same inkling of stubbornness that had led to her multiple attempts at the groundskeepers shed and other such possibly dangerous endeavors. However she had yet to really be hurt by following her curious instincts, perhaps inconvenienced and mildly buffeted but no lasting damage from her little adventures. No it seemed only school field trips ever really caused her serious harm. She walked up and peered at the dial before fiddling it with a moment.
After a few confused twists and turns that seemed to be leading nowhere Sin narrowed her eyes and huffed. She'd come back later after she had some time to watch and see how exactly one opened or entered the strange box.

What was it?
Cuinn stood dead still before the strange blue box, eyeing it suspiciously. He was unfamiliar with the concept of “phone booths” (kids these days with their cell phones) and simply could not figure out what exactly it was. Some odd ringing noise was coming from inside, as though beckoning him in. The building seemed to be watching him, judging him, daring him to try to enter. Warily he took a step closer, and then another. If he had still had a living heart, it would have been racing. This was so tense! What WAS it? Was it alive? Would it talk to him? What if that door swung open and tried to grab him as soon as he was withing range? Should he prepare to bolt? Odder things had happened to him in Halloween town.
Fortunately (and somewhat disappointingly), when he finally summoned the courage to touch a claw to the Boogy Box, nothing happened. Almost instantly, its spell over Cuinn was broken. He visibly relaxed, smiling a bit and scolding himself for expecting the building to react to him. A few moments later, his curiosity took over. The cu sith flattened his ears and inspected the booth closely, perplexed. What was so special about it? He would most certainly find out!
After learning nothing from his careful examination of the Boogy Box (this took somewhere around half an hour), Cuinn finally conceded that he would have to find a way inside. That persistent sound emitting from within the structure HAD to be important. The canine wasted a few more minutes attempting to break in via force before finally stumbling unto the dial. Completely unaware that this peculiar wheel of numbers was what he needed to open the door to the booth, he prodded it a couple of times.
Finally he gave it an experimental twist.
EDIT: Nothing happened. How dull. Cuinn quickly lost interest in the dial and began searching for other clues as to how to gain entrance. It took several hours before he finally gave up and left. The boy was in sour, frustrated mood for he rest of the day.

Taryn had arrived at the festival mostly confused. She had never been to one of these before, and with everything so festive and busy she wasn't sure where to go-- that is, until she heard something ringing.
It was only polite to answer, really. People called phone booths knowing a random stranger would be there 90% of the time, so why not? Sure, she was pretty shy when it came to phones, but what was the worst that could happen? If it was some heavy breather she could just hang up. The chimera watched others trying to get the booth open at all and failing, though. When it came her turn she nervously spun a number, trying to remember what those before her had tried...
Nope. No dice. She grew nervous with the line forming behind her and skittered off. Maybe she would try again later, if the phone just kept ringing like that... for now there were other things to see!
(one off! damn booth xD)

Willow was staring at the box her tail flickered curiously. It was loud, and obnoxious. Just why was it making that noise? The tigress pinned her ears back as she attempted to enter the box hoping to make the noise stop. Eventually, however Willow resigned, she couldn't open the box and could no longer take the ringing so she decided to move on to somewhere else for now.

The Box is BrokennaggeelaAdyian walked up to the blue box as it has perked his curosity since he had never seen anything like it in his life and wanted to find out what it was. When getting closer he could hear the ringing that was coming from inside the box. He wondered to who would be calling and saw that there was some sorta number dial on it. The Fu desided to just randomly dialing the number as he found it fun. With the last set of numbers he tried the door opened up for him. Astonished that it opened up he carefully walked into the booth and answered the ring phone. "Hello?' he said a few times, but there wasn't anyone on the other side. That just left Adyian confused, but then a shiny seed came out of the coin slot of the phone. Excited that he had gotten the seed he carefully and politely put the phone back on the hook and quickly headed out of the booth as his tail wagged as he thought on what he could spend that seed on.

Round Two.
Yroul stepped forward again, the line much shorter this time. His strategy was this: punch in a series of random numbers and hope it worked. Any bad boy should be able to do something this trivial, right? Rubbing his hands together, he punched a new series of numbers in, then stopped. What if he got this wrong again? Would he be a failure? Would Fonzie be disappointed in him? But, if he didn't try, then he wouldn't win. What a sticky situation. Brows furrowed, he sat down and thought. And thought and thought. What would the Fonz do? Oh! He would press the 'Enter' key, and if it didn't work, he would just hit it. Surely that would work, right? It always worked for the Fonz.
Well, the code hadn't worked.
So Yroul hit the door.

Despite having failed at entering the box earlier, Riley had just noticed someone walking in. She did not know the boil who'd managed to enter, and it enraged her that someone had just managed to slide in and out without trouble. She waited until the second boil tried it, before heading back over to check it out herself.

After such a nice, lucky play of the crane game, she felt a little more confident that she would be able to crack the code for this box, this time. After all, she'd just seen someone else do it! That meant she could. Right?
Of course it did.
Her claws tapped against the keys, waiting for confirmation that she'd succeeded.

Instead, she was rewarded with a rather loud sound of failure. She looked offended by the sound, shaking her head slightly. Then, an idea formed. She hypothesized that perhaps, the box would only let a certain amount of people inside to answer the phone per hour. That boil she'd seen might have been the last one.
She became resolute to the idea of coming back later in the day, at the very beginning of the hour, and try again. Until then, the Boogy Box would remain resolute in it's refusal to let her enter.

Returning back to the box to see if he would get lucky again with this game, since he didn't have any luck with the crane game. Adyian saw a Ghoul try her luck with no success and was intrigued with how she looked as he hadn't see anyone like the Ghoul before but he kept his curiosity to himself as he waited his turn. Once she was done he walked up to the booth and started to dial in random numbers to see if he would be lucky.
Shaking his head as this time he couldn't get the booth to open up for him. Ah well he was definitely going to have to try again later on as he walked off towards other games.

Edel stood outside the blue booth, a little hesitant to act. It was unmistakeable, the phone inside was ringing. Why a phone in a phone booth would be ringing however, that was a mystery. The phone continued to ring imperiously, demanding that someone answer its cries. She was getting a pretty ominous vibe from the thing, but ah - curiosity.
Inching forward cautiously, Edel observed the door of the box.
