Not exactly. She replied, as she opened up her fridge and started taking out ice to put in her blender. I'm not actually very good at cooking. I've just been experimenting with different ways to curb my sugar cravings, without giving it up completely. I've been testing out making ice slushes.. but I think I have finally got the correct combination.

She pulled out a brain, side-glanced at Lizzy, and then slid it back into the freezer. But we'll make it with just the slush and flavor, this time around.

She pulled out a large red bottle, and added it to the ice in the blender.

I hope you like cherry. She hummed energetically, while her tentacles reached around together to drop all 14 empty lollipop sticks into the trash can at once.

"Ice slushes?" Lizzy echoed, peering over Riley's shoulders (or rather around her), eyeing the blender and then the ice she had dumped inside, "I've never tried one before... I've seen some on sale before though! Do they taste like... Shaved ice?" They look similar to her, although ice slushes looked more... Watery.

"Cherry sounds fine~" She nodded before giggling. Since she had finished her own lollipop too, she dumped it into the trash can before settling beside Riley to watch the blender.

Riley mixed the flavoring and ice by shaking the blender as she answered. I suppose they are, yes. It helps that they're cold, because they force you to drink them slower. If you take on one of these too fast, you will get quite a painful stabbing sensation in your brain. One eye winced slightly. Believe me. I know.

She put the blender down and turned it on, suddenly slurring the ice and mix together in a whirlwind of juicy red mixture. When it looked ready, she stopped the blender and poured it out into two tall glasses on the counter.

Your drink, my lady. Riley held it out with a regal flourish and bow.

"Ah, brain freeze!" Lizzy nodded before frowning, smiling sheepishly as she tilted her head, "I experienced it once, when I was eating eye scream... Not fun at all, I have to agree!"

For some reason, she felt... Giggly. Thus, she giggled at Riley's bow before putting on a straight face and curtsying, dipping her head, "Much obliged." She then took one of the glasses and raised it, holding it out, "A toast. To... Candy mountain."

... It has begun.

Riley took a good slurp of her own drink with her tentacles, but her eyes widened in a look of pure, awestruck surprise.

Her hands reached around to grasp Lizzy's arms, and she looked the ghoul dead in the eyes. Her voice sounded as serious as the dead.

Lizzy.

She whispered the name.

Lizzy.

The word repeated with urgency.

Lizzy.

There is a mountain. Made. Of Candy?

She leaned in, almost pressing her forehead against the other ghoul's.

You must take me there.

Lizzy was about to take a sip of her drink when Riley did something that caused her to freeze up; for a moment, she wondered if she was in trouble and if there would be a search party for her one week later, but they'll never find her body because- Wait what? At the question, she tilted her head before blinking, "... Candy mountain? Ah... I've heard rumors. It is a treasure! A well hidden treasure..."

Lowering her voice, as if afraid that someone might overhear her, she then continued, leaning forward a little as she narrowed her eyes, "And you know who knows about treasure? Jericho. I bet he knows where candy mountain is..."

Come. Riley slammed her now-empty glass on the counter behind her, and took Lizzy's hands in her own. We must ask the red dragon to share his knowledge. Think of it, Lizzy. Think of it. An entire mountain. Made of candy.

Riley had finished off two dozen lollipops and a shake made of sugar, without the brains. She was buzzing like a fly.

She turned around, hefted Lizzy onto her shoulders by holding her hands and pulling, then carried the ghoul out of her room in a huff. She left her dorm room open - a clear sign she wasn't necessarily thinking very clearly at the moment.

Candy Mountain, Lizzy. She whispered in a breathless sounding thought.

"Let's go to candy mountain, Riley." She whispered before giggling; for some odd reason, she was feeling rather... Lightheaded. In a good way. Like... Like she was walking on sunshine moonlight. While she hadn't had that much sugar, being with sugar-high Riley was starting to affect her. She held onto Riley firmly as the demoness carried her out of the room, putting her arms around her head carefully and leaning forward slightly.

"To Jericho's!" She pointed (in a random direction) before nodding, brushing her bangs back, "I'm sure he'll share his knowledge... Nobody can hide candy mountain. Nobody." The last word was said in a hushed whisper.

Riley veered to follow Lizzy's directional point, only to swerve sharply around in the opposite direction exactly one minute later.

Whoops. Dragon dorms. This way. Dragon dorms? Nice. If he attempts to keep this knowledge from us, we shall torture him until he reveals the information. I have heard that tickling with feathers can make a man go mad. I have no feathers, but claws are like feathers, right?

Claws are nothing like feathers, Riley.

I sense the presence of candy mountain rushing through my veins, calling to me. No, that was just the sugar high. We will heed it's call.

She sounded deadly serious about the entire thing.

"Ohhh... Mmm, dragon dorms..." She echoed before giggling, settling for resting her chin on the top of Riley's head as she continued to lean forward, arms still wrapped around her head to help her keep her balance. Thankfully, she actually had the sense to duck whenever they encountered a low archway.

"Tickling...?" She asked, tilting her head before pausing, as if thinking about it, "But Rileyyyyyy-" Yes, she was whining a little, "What if Jericho is not ticklish...? Oh... We should try anyway, to find out... Ah, take it as a sort of experiment - Is Jericho ticklish? If so, where is he ticklish, and where is he not?"

Yes. Excellent. You think like a mindflayer, Lizzy. She charged forward, heading straight into the monster dorms. We will do this methodically. First, we will ask nicely. Then, if he resists, I will hold him down. You tickle his upper portion, I will tickle the lower, and we will discover which part reacts and then focus fire on it until he caves and gives us the info.

She wanted to draw a battle map of this idea, but with crayons. BUT THERE WAS NO TIME.

Jericho's door was straight ahead. Listen for my signal. When I say palindrome, prepare for the assault. Until then, stay cool.

She knocked on the door with her foot. And by knocked I mean kicked. And by kicked I mean kicked a dent into the bottom.

WE KNOW YOU'RE IN THERE.

This was Riley acting cool.

"I like that idea! Riley, you're always so smart!" She cheered with a grin on her face, pushing herself up to sit up on the mindflayer's shoulders when they neared the dragon dorms; their archways are taller to accommodate those tall, tall big dragons after all, so there was no real need for her to lean on Riley's head. When the instructions were given, she nodded, the grin on her face replaced by a srs bsn expression.

"Palindrome, got it," She didn't even understand what they word meant, but it sounded cool. It was an awesome code word, befitting of the two of them.

"RESISTANCE IS FUTILE!" She yelled after Riley had 'knocked' his door; she had heard that phrase being used in a game once, and secretly had always wanted to use it... This just happened to be the perfect chance to use it!

All this time, Jericho was just reading. Yes. He was reading... a comic book. He was about halfway through it, just relaxing on his treasure pile when he heard a loud thud at his door followed up by Riley and Lizzy's voice. Blinking, he turned towards the door, raising a brow. With what they were shouting, he had to wonder if he was in trouble.

Frowning, he slowly got up and walked over to the door, also wondering why Riley hadn't just.. opened it herself.

"Um... is.. something wrong?" he asked as he opened up, staring at the two female demons in confusion.

Riley couldn't open the door herself, because both her hands were wrapped around Lizzy's legs, holding her up on her back. Duh. Silly Jericho.

As soon as the door opened, Riley's business-like demeanor vanished in place of something more.. serene.

Heeeeeeeey Jeeeeeeeeeri. She crooned, hopping in and bouncing Lizzy. Hey Jeri. Heeeeeeey.

She had never called the dragon that in their entire time together. It was weird.

She was ready to pounce on the boil the moment he opened the door - that was the plan, right? Plans are good! Very good! However, when Riley did not do the whole 'pounce on Jericho' thing, she didn't try to leap off the demoness to carry out 'the plan'; instead, she wriggled where she was, staring happily at the dragon as Riley greeted him... The moment Riley was done with her greeting, however?

Lizzy leaned forward, a rather silly grin plastered onto her face as she aimed to complete Riley's sentence, "Let's go to Candy Mountain, Jeriiiiiii~ Candy Mountain! Wheeee~" She giggled.
