With a nod, Raziel agreed to Xiu's search plan. He tried to lean over a bit to watch as she flipped through the pages of the dense book, but it was hard because she worked so fast! It was almost amazing how speedily she could read the entries in the book and not miss anything. Raziel's mouth hung slightly open in astonishment.
His ears perked up just a bit when Xiu spoke again, and he waited to hear what she had found. "Y-yes! Yes! Everyone in my family has that! We all have similar FEAR bases, but they're all different! Like I gain an extra arm or two, but one of my older brothers gets ethereal hammers extending out of his hands! That's got to be it! What is it called?" He blurted out the question, leaning even closer to try and see it all for himself.
"K'swarok.." he pronounced it slowly, letting the word mush around in his mouth. It was new and exciting and he couldn't wait to read more about it and his ancestors and the history. He turned to Xiu, a broad grin across his face, quite the change from when she had first stopped and talked to him, "Thank you so much! I don't know that I could have done this without you!" He almost tried to hug her, but decided that might be rather awkward.

Was this it? Hurray!
The Baku's tail began to wag with excitement when she noticed Raziel brighten up considerably, pushing the book closer to him as he leaned over. "Then...then is this...?" Xiu thought that she would ask just in case, but judging from the aura of excitement that seemed to be surrounding the boil, she knew that they had probably done it! They found a monster whose traits and habits matched up with Raziel and his family's!
Grinning back at him--his joy was quite infectious--Xiu gave a dismissive wave of her hand. "Don't worry about it! And I'm sure that you would have been able to figure it out on your own with time!" In the end, all that she had really done was ask him a few questions, flip through the book, and skim lists until she found a common link.
Figuring that he would want to take in all the information that the K'swarok entry had to offer, Xiu smiled and pushed the book again until it sat right in front of him. "I...I'm really glad that I could help." She really was. The poor boil had seemed so gloomy before, but now...
