"Then we can agree to disagree, Dark Tide." She snorted, her back hoof slightly stomping against the ground in affirmation."But, if you ever change your mind..." The mare's voice dripped with inviting seduction. She drank her water listening to him, ears flicking in order to catch his voice. "Your brother probably didn't spar with her." Kainda teased lifting her head to shake her neck before returning to drink, hair floating in the stream. "He's smart to do that, but you need to find another sleeping partner." The mare teased giving a small snort. "I'd be gored before allowing a stinking male to lay beside me."

"I wish I had been upwind, that is for sure." he liked Kainda but to give up his good alignment was to give up his herd and he couldn't do that, stinky swamp pelt or not. He loved his family. Despite Opal and her slug and caterpillar pranks. Ugh. "I'll keep that in mind" he said in reference to her seductive offer. "No he didn't spar, he just ran. That is why I want to learn, so that I can fight when I need to. The fact that I found such a lovely sparring partner is simply good luck." he smiled. "Believe me, I have been looking for another sleeping partner but so far no one has offered." He dipped a hoof in the stream, loving the feel of the cool water.

"That would have been the smart thing to do." She snorted taking drink then stepped into the water. She felt the cool water rush over her hooves and ankles, her tail and mane gently waving in the water. Kainda stared over at him as he drank. The mare playfully took in some water in her mouth and then spat toward him nickering all the while. "Well you know where to find me, Dark Tide. Whether it be to spar or to keep you warm." Kainda looked into his green eyes with her dark red ones. Kainda was as pretty as she was dangerous and to convert someone of the King's herd with her...that would be a massive achievement. If not, she would at least keep tabs on him.

Dark Tide was divided nearly in twain. This was a beautiful spirited mare who was his equal in every way and more but she didn't believe in the same things he did. He was sorry that she had been through what she had and had come out disliking human's.
Dark Tide was slightly too deep in thought and got sprayed right in the face. He laughed loudly and plunked a hoof in the stream, it got him more wet but also splashed her a little.
Dark Tide leaned down and plucked a large yellow lily from near the stream. It's broad petals shone in the light of day and tiny dew drops were captured on the dusky stamen. "Here," he said. "Take this and a promise that I will remember your offer." He bowed. he was going to have to take her up on the sparring lesson as he needed the practice but as to the keeping warm bit, he didn't know what the future may hold.

Kainda whinnied with laughter as she caught him. But then she suddenly felt the splashing on her, and it was quite obvious that the games had changed. She reared up pawing at the ground then slammed both front hooves down causing a massive splash in both directions. She got caught in the after splash, but she guessed he did a well.
It was quiet when her dark red eyes fell upon the lily. What was this...some sort of...offering? Her head tilted as she slowly came forward. The mare gently took the flower from him, her maw brushing up against his. She took in his scent and slowly became lost in his eyes...green eyes...
Kainda immediately blinked to clear her thoughts. Shaking her head might damage the flower, and it was quite beautiful. However, these...turmoils she was having wasn't...normal of her. Hanging around this stallion was dangerous for her - for Rakai's plans. She glared at him it seemed, but she was really angry toward herself and her momentary lapse. "Thank you, Dark Tide..." Her voice was soft, silk like even, but there were guarded tones. "I will...think of you often..." The mare took in a breath before slipping away making sure not to stray too close to him as she left. She stopped short turning back around to gaze upon him once more. "I'll find you. Don't worry. You better be stronger when I see you again." Her voice was more sultry this time, a tease if you will. And as quickly as she spoke, she was gone.
Kainda was starting to feel divided. This was a dangerous game she was playing...She'd have to be extra careful around Dark Tide.
