Jade stepped off the ship into the Federation prison's dock. The area was white and glistening, but she'd been around long enough to know it stopped once the holding cells started. She'd gotten a pod to the closest planet, and then gotten someone to drive her up, flashing her Federation ID to let them through. Now that she was here, she could see the panic beginning to settle in. People didn't just break into the prison, especially not petite women like the guards had seen carrying the prisoner.
So a woman had busted him out. Fascinating. She would almost regret turning a woman skilled enough to do that back into the Federation. But she liked money and fighting more than her ideals. She asked around for more on the story. The woman had taken a pod. One of the Federation's pods. Classic mistake. She'd beamed a ship, or that's what it looked like, based on the data sent back from the pod. The woman should have known the Fed would put trackers and data transmitters in their escape pods. Now that she'd made a mistake, Jade felt easier about possibly injuring her. Hell, if she kept the pod on the ship, she'd be able to do easy as pie.
The ship it looked like she beamed was a junker, old Fed Blockrunner, modified to fit whoever was driving it. It wasn't Fed certified, which meant they had no idea who was driving it. Apparently, nor did they have any way to track it, other than the pod, which any Captain with half a brain would discard. But hopefully, he'd keep it long enough for them to get a read on what direction they were headed. Then it would narrow down their searches, especially with a description of the ship. Her buddy was monitoring all the ports, legal and illegal, so she'd hear about it if a clunker came by. And now all she had to do was wait.

Experiment V317 ☆═━━━━━━━━ ♥☢♥ Vextial followed behind Leon as he pulled her by the hand into the break-room. Hearing his question, Vextial scratched her chin in thought before she said, "I'm not entirely sure what happened. I've never come across someone to transform like that. It is strange to say the least..." She was only in the RM for 3 years, and during those three years, she'd never come across anything as strange as the show in the med-bay. For someone to transform like that... something very strange must have happened to the man.
Tilting her head in confusion at the sound of broadcasts from the comms relay, Vextial nodded her head as she answered Leon's question, "Yeah, guess we should check it out, huh?" She already knew that they were going to anyway, but she had a tendency in asking Leon first before doing anything.  ♥☢♥ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━═☆ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━═☆

Kinaro, having come to his senses, staggered off of the examination table. He immediately tripped and fell over due to the strange shape of his feet. Struggling to get back up, he slowly and carefully began moving forward, holding onto things to help him on his way. This was a terrifying moment for him "Am I going to be like this forever...?" he asked himself. He shook his head "I can't waste the gift I was given...I've got to move forward." he pushed his worries to the back of his mind, but they were still there.
He soon made his way to the break-room and caught Vextial and Leon on the way out "Oh, sorry.." he says, moving to the side. He could barely keep his balance let alone sidestep, but he managed to stay on his feet. "I guess I have you two to thank for saving my life? Thank you...I'm Kinaro Tavarin." he says.

I don't think of myself as a criminal, you see. Leon Vaelient was surprised to see their passenger up and walking so soon after his transformation. Guess it wasn't that bad, Leon thought to himself, or he would have been out still. He nodded at Kinaro and offered him a hand to shake. "Nice to meet you, Kinaro Tavarin. I'm Leon Vaelient and this here is the lovely Vextial." He smiled at her as he introduced Vextial to him. He then turned back to Kinaro. "And about saving you, it wasn't a problem, it being the only thing I could do for a fellow space traveler." He then motioned Kinaro to follow him as he walked to the cockpit with Vextial, still talking as they moved into their designated seats, Kinaro getting the spare chair. "Just, we don't want to keep you here if you don't want to, so we'll be dropping you off at the next starport or planet we reach." He then smirked. "Unless you want to come work for us. We could always need some more crew-members." He then chuckled and added as an after-thought, "So, what skills are you handy at?" There are those among you who persecute me.
I don't feel pity towards those who would kill me.

Experiment V317 ☆═━━━━━━━━ ♥☢♥ Vextial walked with Leon into the cockpit with Kinaro following behind them, as Leon continued to speak. Vextial sat down, being co-pilot as Leon said that Kinaro could either be dropped off at a starport or a planet... or he could just stay and work for him. Vextial didn't really mind if Kinaro decided to stay. That just meant that they'd have an extra hand helping out with the ship, as well as having another companion besides just having each other. "It would be very helpful if you were to remain here with us. While you stay here, I could even try to figure out what happened to you, as well as see if I can reverse the side-effects of your current form, if you wish it", Vextial said, hoping that her words would persuade him to stay. ♥☢♥ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━═☆ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━═☆

Kinaro thought about it for a moment "Well, I was part of my family's trade company...so maybe I can help bring in some money." he nodded "Okay, I'll join you. I've got nowhere else to go, so I might as well, right? Besides, it's the least I can do for you saving my life." he smiled. He thought about the death of his family that occurred not too long ago, but he knew that this is what they would want for him. He looks to Vextial "And...thanks. I'm not entirely sure what happened to me, but I think I might have an idea...I remember a strange light enveloping my body before it disappeared. Other than that, I can't describe what it looked like."

I don't think of myself as a criminal, you see. Leon Vaelient smiled when Kinaro agreed to join, for while they could run the ship with only two people, a third hand would be a really big help. Plus, one that knew the ins and outs of trading would come in handy. "Excellent! You can start trading the moment we get within range of civilization. We would do it out here, but our interstellar router is old and doesn't work out in the black." He then turned back to the scanner and took the ship towards the signal. "But first, we need to help out these people." The Aurora moved towards the source of the signal, it's lights pointed out at the source to try and see what it was. Leon makes the assumption, "It's an escape pod. Let's pick it up and see if anyone is in it." He sent the ship in close and had the ship's computer do the docking. While the Aurora was a small ship, it did have two docking ports for people who wanted to trade with Leon. Not that that happened very much, but it was a possibility. Leon then said to the others, "Follow me," and went right over to the port where the escape pod was. He then opened the escape pod door with a blast of lightning and looked inside to see who was in there. There are those among you who persecute me.

Experiment V317 ☆═━━━━━━━━ ♥☢♥ Following behind Leon as the three of them walked to the escape pod they'd just docked, Vextial watched as Leon 'unlocked' the pod with his electrical ability. She had always found it strange, but she never questioned him about it, only because it wasn't her place to interrogate him. He had saved her life after all. Stepping in front of Leon as they walked inside, Vextial saw a woman with long black hair and adorned in white clothing. The women was incredibly tall as well (at least compared to Vextial's 5'6), which meant she couldn't exactly be human. Vextial could also see that the woman was also injured. Kneeling down beside the woman, Vextial checked her pulse to see that she was still alive. Looking up at Leon, Vextial said, "The woman still has a pulse, though her wounds seem to be critical. We need to bring her to the medi-bay for treatment." ♥☢♥ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━═☆ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━═☆

Luminara Luminara felt relief when the ship picked them up.
"No, I am fine. Please, tend to my friend. And for the love of the ancestral lights, put this ship into overdrive. Please, we must get away."
She picked Haaari up. Trahir snorted behind her and moaned a bit.
They are getting closer. We need to hurry. He projected his thoughts for everyone to hear. Do not ask, I will not tell

I don't think of myself as a criminal, you see. Leon Vaelient watched as Vextial helped the passengers of the escape pod out. They were different from any species he had seen... second time he had said that, though Kinaro's case might just be a genetic mutation. He was especially interested in their appearance and way of speaking, for it sounded like ancient... wait. Leon Vaelient sat down for a moment and thought to himself upon this. He eventually looked up and said, "You two are either Celestials, or related to them somehow. And considering that you are using colloquialisms that the Ancients have long stopped using, or at least that's what I remember from the books I've read... I think... I'm guessing the second one." He then looked them over and said to Kinaro, "Can you take them to the Medi-bay for me? I have to make some adjustments to the ships course." He then turned to Vextial, "Jettison this escape pod and make sure it flies off in a different direction from the course we are heading. I'll activate overdrive and take us to a different star system." He moves away and looks back at her. "Once you have completed this task, report to me. I'll need to discuss some serious things with our new passengers." He then moved away to the cockpit, where he changed course, but waited for Vextial to jettison the escape pod before sending the engines into overdrive. A scrap of metal falling out of overdrive could punch a hole through a space ship. A escape pod falling out of overdrive could destroy a space station. And Leon didn't want innocent death's on his conscious. He wasn't a bounty hunter, for gods sake, and he planned on it staying that way. There are those among you who persecute me.

Experiment V317 ☆═━━━━━━━━ ♥☢♥ Listening to Leon's observation on the woman and her companions, Vextial looked at the woman curiously. Though when she heard Leon assign Kin to take care of the woman and her companions, while she took care of getting rid of the the pod, Vextial stood up as Kinaro took care of the passengers. Watching as Leon left to go to the cockpit, Vextial waited for Kinaro to grab the woman and her friends, before Vextial took care of the pod. Pressing a button on one of the walls, the docking clamps released the pod and let it float away into space. Once it was far away enough, Vextial turned around and walked out the docking station.
Vextial walked into the control room that Leon was in. Sitting next to him, which was the seat for the co-pilot, Vextial said, "You wanted to speak with me?", as she looked over the coordinates on the screen in front of her. Even though she looked distracted, she was waiting for what Leon had to say. She was sure that it was important, mostly because he'd said before that he wanted to speak about the new passengers.... then again, to her, everything that Leon said was important, even if it was a simple conversation about constellations or something of the sort.♥☢♥ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━═☆ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━═☆

Kinaro nodded "Of course. I can't really walk that well, but follow me." he said, leading them out of the room. He again relied on grabbing onto objects along the way or leaning against the wall to keep his balance. When they made it to the medical bay, he pointed them to the examination table "Here we are. Someone will get to your friend in time. I would, but unfortunately I'm no medic. I'm sorry..." he said sadly. He was interested in these strangers, like how they spoke, behaved, and how the wolf projected his thoughts. He was also interested in what Leon said about Celestials when he was speaking with them. If the situation was different, Kinaro would have asked about some of these things, but he knew now wasn't the best time.
Kinaro stayed in the room with them in case they needed him for anything. So many things were happening to him all at once. His family's ship was attacked, he's rescued by Leon and Vextial, his transformation, and now these newcomers. It was overwhelming, but he felt like he could trust Leon and Vextial. They did save his life after all. He sighed and looked at the white walls of the ship. They reminded him of his family's ship, a thought that brought him peace, but at the same time sadness. He knew very well he was the only one who made it out alive.

Luminara Luminara followed him and Trahir and Haaari's helipar followed.
When she reached the room she set Haaari down on the table and her silver eagle flew and laid on her chest.
Luminara touched her forehead.
"She is fading. If we do not hurry she will die."
She formed some ice and put it on Haaari's forehead to cool her fever.
"What I would not give to have some familiar herbs."
Trahir rubbed against her leg and she put a hand on him. A single tear fell down her face, but unlike human tears it was grey with black swirling in it.Do not ask, I will not tell

I don't think of myself as a criminal, you see. Leon Vaelient sent the ship into Overdrive once Vextial was with him in the cockpit, the Aurora quickly leaving the star system behind them. He then turned to Vextial and watched her for a few moments in silence. Finally, he said to her, "Vextial, can you honestly tell me how you feel? About the ship and everyone on it. I want to know how you feel about each person and your current job, for you don't talk very much and I feel you would have a lot to contribute to the conversation that happen on this ship." He stood and said to her, "From now on, I want to speak more." He waited a moment and then added, "That is an order, by the way." There are those among you who persecute me.
