Riyana let out a small, rare giggle "Ooh, and a gentleman too" her eyes sparkled with mirth, but she left it at that. It wasn't in her nature to tease so blatantly.
She was quiet for a moment while she mulled over his question. "I'm not quite sure I can answer your question properly" she finally said "I'm not entirely sure what I am doing here myself." she stopped, as if finished talking, but then suddenly picked back up "I guess I'm just on the hunt for a place to live, really, somewhere to settle..."
She trailed off but then shook herself slightly. In the process she caught a glimpse of something dark out of the corner of her eye. She glanced up, and saw threatening clouds "It's going to start raining" she stated and looked with slightly panicky eyes at Koeh "It's going to be bad, judging by those clouds".

Koeh shot her a smile at the remark. "Yea, it happens sometimes." He laughed.
Pawing around with a few berries. He listened to her, and the more she spoke the more questions he had. 'Where was she from? What are somethings she likes? What was her childhood like? Is there someone she left behind, a significant other...' He shakes those thoughts out of his head. Now is not the time to ask those kind of questions.
Koeh looked up, 'Yep she was right.' "Well I know of a cave close to here, back by my rock, would you like to head there. Before the storm hits?" He stands and stretches. "Thank you again for lunch." He starts heading towards the clearing.

If Riyana saw the questions in Koeh's eyes, she didn't comment. First of all, until he actually asked, she wouldn't attempt at assuming what he wanted to know. Second of all, she was by now quite preoccupied with the oncoming storm. The wind had suddenly picked up, and what had been a calm, blue skies was now grey and threatening. Riya hadn't noticed before, but the entire forest had suddenly gone quiet. Dead quiet.
"I don't mean to alarm you, but I'm afraid something will go terribly wrong if we don't get somewhere safe" she paused and added "now!" almost as an afterthought. The wind had picked up so much that she almost had to yell to be heard over the wooshing sounds. She quickly trotted after him, silently urging him on but being too well-raised to say anything out loud.

"I think you may be right, Hurry!" Koeh broke into a run, but made sure Riyana would still be close. He ran though the paths, and into the clearing. Koeh looked to the sky, the once sunny and bright sky was black and eery. 'Gods,' He thought to himself 'I have always hated pop up storms. Now a light rain every now and then is fine, but I have a feeling this is going to be a doozie.'
Koeh continued to run, past the rock he was laying on, and into the think forest. "Keep up, and watch your feet." It began to rain, hard. A crack of lightning was hear overhead and the sound of cracking trees near by. "We are almost there. Just a little further."
Jumping over newly downed branches he made his way to the mouth of the cave. "Come on, we will be safe in here." Koeh headed into the cave.

It was Riyana's normal opinion that a lady never ran - it was unladylike. But even she knew how to put her codexes aside when the situation called for it. She bolted after Koeh, trying to follow the paths she had never seen before, twisting and turning to avoid whipping branches to hit her in the face. The rain was already coming down hard and cold, but with a steely determination she ignored the pain and the threatening thunder.
She let a small involuntary sight of relief slip out when she saw that Koeh had found a cave. She slowed from a sprint to a calmer run and murmured "Thank Go-" a crack was heard right above her head, and a large tree-branch gave way. She had spoken to soon. Part of the branch landed right on top of her right hind leg, and as she screamed out in pain, she was effectively trapped outside in the merciless storm.
((Ah, finally settled on a good rp colour for her... and oh dear, where did all the dramz come from!?!?))

"No!" Koeh yelled out of cave. "Stay still Riyana I will help you (in a whisper) Some how." The tree branch was little and looked heavy.. 'Ok, There has to be something here...' he looked about his cave. Nothing. 'Damn' he said to himself, got back to the mouth of the cave her spotted Riyana still trapped and in pain. He booked it towards her, veering around downed branches and falling ones.
Finally he reached her, and the branch looked bigger up close. "Don't fret Riyana, I will get you free." Koeh tried to move the branch with his shoulder and strength, it moved, but not enough to get her free.
The rain fell harder and the temperature colder, and the winds picked up. All through out the forest you could see and hear trees breaking and falling hard to the ground.
Backing up, and running at the branch, Koeh hit the branch, it moved again, but still not close enough to get her free. "Riyana, I know this is going to hurt, but I need you to roll to the side when I hit the branch, it may take a few times doing so, but I believe that is the way to get you free. WIll you do that for me?
((Wow, I kinda like it))

Riyana whimpered, and her eyes rolled around in her head. She was terrified, and she was in a lot of pain. Adrenalin shot through her body, and it was all she could do to stop herself from wiggling around in panic. She didn't notice the increasing rain, she didn't notice the cold. Everything had just become a blur of darkness and pain. She felt herself slipping further and further into the darkness. In desperation, she clung to her last coherent thought with all her might - she must not worsen the damage, and she must not pass out!
Then, suddenly, Koeh was by her side. She had no idea how long time had passed since she first got trapped. It could've been seconds. It could've been hours. She tried to focus on the green ulaya, and she had this vague feeling that he was trying to say something to her, but she just.. couldn't hear him. She kept getting the feeling that this was really important, but... she just couldn't grasp it. She tried to tell him that she couldn't hear him, but all that came out was some muffled wheezing.

This was not good, not good at all. "Riyana!" Koeh called to her, but no response. If she could not hear him, this was going to be a problem. He ran to her side. "Riyana, I don't know if you can here me now, but I need you to pull your leg out. I am going to try to move this branch."
Koeh ran back a far distance and rammed the branch, this time it moved a bit. The rain softened the ground and was letting the branch move. He ran back the same distance and rammed the branch it moved more. You could start to see the top of the females leg. 'Ok,' He thought to himself. 'A few more and I can get her free.' Lining up again Koeh rammed the branch, he hit the branch hard and it moved much farther off Riyana's leg, but as he hit the branch he heard a pop and a sharp pain ran threw his body. His shoulder dislocated, he knew what he had to do, but he would not be able to ram the branch again.
Koeh limped to the branch right by Riyana, "Hey," He called to her "New plan." Koeh lined his shoulder on the branch and with a wicked twist there was a pop that sounded like thunder and a howl from Koeh that was of pain. His shoulder was back in place, but he could not risk dislocating it again. 'Ok, new plan. But What?!' He thought for a moment, then it hit him. "Ok Riyana, I am going to dig you out. Please be still. I will get you out of here."
Koeh began to dig around the females leg. A bit at a time, the rain filling the holes to dug, making to easier to move the earth around her. "I will have you free soon. And Riyana, I am sorry." He dug deeper.

Her vision blurry, and her mind in much of the same state, she vaguely noted that a numbness had started spreading through almost her entire body. She gave a small sigh. It was such a relief to not be feeling any more pain. A stray thought caught her attention, and she recalled something about numbness being a bad thing. But how could numbness be bad? It was painless and freeing. She much preferred this state, honestly.
Suddenly, she felt something jarring. She couldn't quite pinpoint what was moving or what was happening, but the white stars in front of her eyes seemed to lessen a bit, and she was able to spot a green something ram itself at the brown something on top of her. She somehow managed to make out a few words.
...plan... new... dig... still... here
It hardly made any sense to her, but suddenly the load on top of her seemed somewhat lighter. She felt herself slip and the ground move around her. She was oddly surprised to realise that it could feel lighter, when she thought she was completely numb.
She was soon free, although Riya hardly noticed it. She was too busy staring at the clouds moving above her. They were rather pretty.

Koeh kept digging till her felt her leg hang free. The rain came down harder, and the storm seemed to be growing in strength. "I got you." Koeh said as he grabbed her by the scruff of her neck to get her out from under the tree. The hole he dug was now filling with water, and he could tell this place was about to flood. He laid his wounded friend on the ground, then contortion-ed to get her on his back. Once he felt her balanced on his back, he ran to the cave he was at before this mess started. More trees had fallen between the time he left the cave and now, but his adrenalin was pumping and nothing was getting in his way.
The two friends reached the cave in a matter of minutes. Koeh laid for down gently onto the cave floor and. The storm outside of raging, but in the cave Koeh had started a fire, and was tending to his friends leg. It was broken, and she had a nice gash near the hip. But that is all Koeh saw. She needed medical attention, but he had no supplies except a few band-aids, so he kept it tightly wrapped in a bandage and kept her warm with a blanket.
Koeh tended to the fire and kept an eye on his friend. He could not help help but feel responsible for what happened to her. They had just met, and he almost got her killed. He could not shake the thought out of his head. All he could do is to keep her comfy until he could get help.
Koeh laid down by the fire and watched the flames dance in the wood, and the wood turn a beautiful orange and yellow on a black background. They color looked like fiber optics. As he watched his eyes got heavy, and soon after Koeh drifted off to sleep.
