Remiel listened, one ear dipping downwards whislt the other stood upright. He looked rather comical sitting as he was but he didn't seem to be paying that any attention.
But my father tells me that I can't injure another wolf, 'e says that we gotta live in peace and the only way to do tha' would be tah treat everyone kindly. 'e says our pack lives by the way of pass-pacifists. He nodded, glad that he'd managed to pronounce the word.
It was strange to live that way. For how could he protect the ones he loved if he couldn't use force?

*This made her laugh and she turned to face him now sitting. Her tail moved to curve around her leg a bit as she looked to the little one.*
"Don't be silly. Does it take force to jump out from behind a tree and say boo to scare your brother or sister? Of course not. Fighting is the last thing you want to do. That is when you have no other options. When you know it someone you care for is going to be hurt. Till then. You just have to make yourself seem strong and proud. Great and powerful. Loving and Sincere. That is enough to send anything away shaking. Though I would not suggest you go looking for trouble. Never look for it child. For when you find it, it has friends. But trouble normally comes looking alone.*

Remiel looked as if he wanted to argue with this, maw parting as he sought the words that seemingly evaded him. Then finally he gave up and released his held breath.
You sounds just like father. He did agree with his parents for the most part. Gizmo - who was a strong pacifist - had always made sure that his pups had been brought up with the same ideals as himself. It was his way of spreading the tranquility when so much violence remained.
Sometimes though, Remiel found this way of life hard and found it increasingly difficult to use nothing but words as a weapon. He was born with teeth and sometimes he felt the want to use them.
I wish you and father were wrong 'bout it, but I 'ave to agree that fightin' is bad. I jus' feel tha' someday I might need tah fight and I won't be able tah cos I dunno 'ow.'

"You silly cub, you wait till the time comes. If what you fight for is worth it then you will have no problems protecting it."
*Lunar stood and smiled*

Remiel sat and watched the green hued wolf leave, staring at her until she disspeared from view. It was there that he sat long after to ponder on what had been said and he only moved when he heard his sister's faint call. Trotting to her side he gave her a comforting nuzzle and exhaled softly.

*It had been three days. Thinking and walking. She found herself in a similar place. A little den was no more than 300 yards away. This time she openly walked toward it. This place, a place of peace, why was she drawn toward it? Because that is what she wanted now, peace... Now here she was. Trying to figure out someway to ask permission to stay on this land. After her mothers death she had to make things right. Peace was what her mother wanted, though that was not what she got. Now was Lunar's turn. She would get peace, even if she had to fight for it. In order to find this thing she wanted, a home, she had to make one herself. Things don't come easy in life and now she was here to begin one of many things to finish her quest.*

Rand was confused. Down by the river, as he lapped eagerly at the cold water that was slowrunning by the edge, he had caught the familiar scent of Remiel and/or Kaya. They were together so often, his young nose found it difficult to distinguish between the two. But another, strange smell crept its way into his senses. A fading, adult scent?
Worried, he loped with clumsy legs further up the stream.
Rem'l, Kaya!!

Rem turned his head back to gaze at his approaching brother, a small yip breaking free from his maw as he turned to run towards him. Short, stubby legs moved clumsily across the ground as he went, plump little body moving with little grace.
Rand, Rand, you missed it! You missed the stranger on these lands! He squeaked, slowing his pace as he drew nearer, she spoke to me she did.

*Slowly but surely she approached the pups, this time there was a new scent. But she continued forward padding softly. There were a few scratches across her ribcage showing some struggle but they were not bad, it could have been anything even just running through thorns. She kept quiet as she walked. There now just another 150 yards to go.*

I missed it? The disappointment was patent on the cub's face. A stranger with so many intersting tales to tell, and he missed it?!?
Large ears flopped to his head, and even as he looked around his brother to check that Kaya was also there, the pale, chocolate-marked pup failed to notice that the aforementioned stranger was still nearby.

*Fifty yards, twenty, ten, they should have noticed her scent by now as Lunar making a coughing sound to interupt their chit-chat*

*She slowly looked from one to the other to the other then towards the den, finally once more back.*

Rem too had not noticed that the stranger had not yet quite left, he was too intent on telling his brother what had occured. Yup, yup, she was 'ere! His little tail wagged, Never though' I'd see 'nother wolf round these 'ere parts.
It was then that he heard the interrupting cough and he whirled around to stand beside Rand, golden eyes staring up at the female who was no longer stranger.
Then in a hushed voice he canted his head towards Rand and whispered, there she is!

Rand blinked golden eyes that were the mirror of his brother's and turned around slowly. Sure enough, another wolf! And a big female, one he hadn't seen before...
Fixing a charming smile on his muzzle he dipped his head. Um, g'd morning lady! Are you one of this territ'ry, or a wanderer? He was not quite up on the 'polite gentleman' manner, not yet anyway; his eyes were bright and curious, but with a slight brittleness. He'd never met her before, and though Remiel said she was alright, his little frame was still ready to flee.

*Slowly she looked them both over and could not help but smile at their faces. As if a hero had jumped out of their dreams and was standing before them. She spoke calmly yet firm also, as though they were adults and she was trying to show her machoness, (In a feminism way)."

*She looked around as she talked before looking back to them.*

You'd be wantin' tah see pa then. Remiel yipped, he was more confident than his brother, perhaps too confident. He was sure that no harm could ever come to them in their own home and perhaps this would be his downfall. He sensed no anger or bad intentions in this wolf and his father had always told him never to be cruel to a stranger.
He's at the den with mama. He canted his head and wagged his tail in a cheerful way. Why yah wanna see 'im? Is 'e gonna 'elp yah with your search?
