Camaria stood there quietly for a few moments listening to the wind and rain. Slowly she turned her attention back to Mercy. "Yes, I do get lonely, quite often." It wasn't often she admitted such things but it was the truth after all. "I try not to dwell on it though. A lot of the time I'm traveling for a purpose, to gather information for myself and others. So I think in a way it's best to do that alone, as having a traveling partner could be distracting and may make me miss important things along the way." Besides, if she was spying on someone it would be harder to conceal two bodies compared to one.

In truth Camaria had considered on many occasions to find someone to travel with, someone who had the same goals in mind as herself but so far she had yet to meet a Soquili like that that she also got along with. No sense in having a traveling partner that one would just bicker with constantly.

Mercy pondered the mares answer for a few moments, mulling the mares words over in her own mind before she answered. Camaria had taken a while to answer and while she couldn't be entirely sure - she certainly didn't know the mare well enough to say for sure - but Mercy thought she detected a bit od sadness in the mare demeanor despite her words stating that traveling alone was for the best. Mercy could spot a justification when she heard one. "I'am sure that you'll find a suitable traveling partner someday" She told the mare brightly - surely a nice mare like Camaria wouldn't have to much trouble in that area.

She also could have argued that another set of eyes might be useful in noticing things she might miss along the way and so it would likely even out any distraction such a partner might cause..but Mercy didn't see the point in saying such a thing. Cmaria would figure it out on her own whenever she did manage to find that special traveling partner.

Mercy's upbeat voice and answer made Camaria smile and let out a laugh. "I suppose you are right. Just gotta keep my eyes open so I can find them." It was entirely possible that some day she would stumble upon the perfect traveling partner. Life was full of surprises and perhaps finding them would be one of them. "Maybe I'm just not looking hard enough for them." And then she paused for a moment considering before letting out another laugh. "Or perhaps it's a case of looking too hard, I just need to stop looking entirely and then I will stumble upon them by accident." That was entirely possible. While she didn't always actively look for someone to travel with perhaps not looking at all would prove to be the way to find them.

Heck, perhaps even Mercy, once she got flying down, could come along with her. Of course that would mean letting her in on a few secrets about her life as a spy, but that was something to be mentioned only if or when that actually happened. Peeking out between the trees Camaria could see the rain was lessening a bit. "Looks like the storm is starting to pass." The winds were still too strong to go flying, and lightning still occasionally danced across the sky, but soon enough they would be able to come out from their shelter.

Mercy beamed back at the other mare and nodded slightly, that was the spirit - it was good to know that Camaria hadn't just resigned herself to life all alone. As to looking? well Mercy wasn't sure it would really matter either way to be honest, she was a big believer in things happening when they were meant to...fate would have Camaria find her traveling companion when the right time for one had come around. "I'm sure they'll show up when the time is right" she told the other mare optimistically.

When the brown mare pointed out that the storm was starting to abate Mercy peered out from under the trees as well, studying the clouds with a slightly furrowed brow, even now she could see hints of blue peeking through here and there "Looks that way" She agreed 'I don't imagine it will be to much longer before we can venture out"

With a smile Camaria looked back at Mercy. "Exactly. They will show up when the time is right." She couldn't have said it better herself. Everything had a time and purpose in life and it was obvious that right now she was not meant to have a traveling partner. But in the future, though how far was yet to be determined, she would find one - be it stumble upon them by accident or by actively looking.

It didn't take much longer for the storm to move off allowing them to come out from their shelter. The ground squished under her hooves as she stepped into the rain soaked meadow and a few grey clouds still hung around but the majority of the storm was now off in the distance. Giving her wings a good stretch Camaria looked back at Mercy. "We should go check on the others." It may not be her herd, but while she was in their territory Camaria would make sure nothing happened to them. Who knows if a tree had blown down or anything else and being a herd of Usdia they would need some help clearing any storm debris.

"Good idea" Mercy agreed as they headed out from the tree's, it had rained quite heavily and it wasn't unheard of for such a storm to cause a bit of flooding or pull down some branches from the older trees, as the largest member of the herd Mercy usually found herself doing most of the heavy lifting - oh the others helped of course but it took two or three of them to sometimes do what she could do on her own. Not that she minded of course..but it would be nice to have some help with Camaria here.

"They normally take cover over this way" she told the other mare, turning towards a line of trees on the other side of the meadow - Mercy herself normally took shelter there as well but they had been closer to the other trees when the storm blew in. Leading the way tot he trees Mercy could see that the storm had indeed caused a bit of damage..but after assuring herself that no one had been injured she and Camaria set about clearing out the herds most well used pathways.
