"Oh, I have no doubt about that! I've only been here a few days and already I've been making more friends! And... well... I don't think... there's many Zetas that have woken," He looked a bit disappointed, but that moment was soon covered by a fresh grin, "But many of the friends I made while we were er... you know... with the gas masks... well, many of them made it! I think it is just a matter of time, really, before we're a perfect, organized group of soldiers," He gave a knowing nod, hands firmly on his hips. "Alpha One is even a Sun Hunter with me! Er... Jordan. Hahah um, it's still a bit odd having faces and names for everyone, isn't it?"

"Well, I'm glad you're making some friends," He replied sincerely as he started to walk a bit forward at least enough to make going outside worth it rather than lingering about the building front with no real purpose, "Yeah...as far as I know no one from my little unit are up and about." The young man shrugged lightly. "We gotta do what they can't, right? I mean who knows what might happen later...Someone we know might wake up...."
There was almost a tinge of hope in his voice. Almost.
Jude paused thoughtfully at Jerry's words before he nodded, "It kind of is. I mean for a while I doubted I had a name. I didn't really know what to think during that time. It was...stressful. All I cared about was getting back to one person. I guess no one having faces made it...easier to do what you had to do to survive..."

"Well... there's really no telling if we ARE awake, honestly..." Jerry folded his arms as he stared up at the white and gray cloudy sky with a sigh, "It's very possible who we are now and what we remember isn't true. I mean... if they had that kind of power, it makes you think about... you know... perspective ad all that." He gave a laugh, straightening his glasses as he glanced back, "But thinking like that'll drive a person crazy, no doubt. I'm just taking everyone one step at a time. Makes it easier to swallow, though. It's all very odd. But a good Odd, I think. Makes life interesting!"

Something about Jerry's observation caught Jude's attention as he tilted his head toward the other man and stared at him in awe. That was incredibly insightful. More insightful than he would have given Jerry credit for, not that he thought the other man was dumb or anything he just seemed a bit...ditzy. Ditzy was a good word for it. Not that Jude had anything against that sort of thing.
He shifted his weight from one foot to the other for a moment as he stood in silence and waited for the other male to finish his thoughts.
When he spoke up he said simply, "Yes, interesting." It was something to digest and mull over when he had a moment to himself.
Jude looked over at Jerry and actually even smiled a little, "We shall have to stay together as comrades to make the best of these interesting times."

Comrades. An interesting choice in words! The boy was clever, Jerry could tell. His expression lifted even further, smiling brightly as he swung a spindly arm around Jude's shoulders, "Absolutely! Watch each other's backs and everything! The more people who like you around here, the better your chances of survival, huh? Ahahahaha!"

Jude froze a bit at the contact before he just let it slide relaxing a bit under the weight of the spindly arm placed around him. There was just no getting around it he might as well just get used to it...Maybe...Possibly.
Okay so he was putting forth an effort to be 'friendly'. He would get no where being antisocial and anti-touch. It wasn't like Jerry was going to turn around and strangle him.
"Yes, watch each other's backs," He said dryly but Jude smiled just a little. Okay so having a friend was giving him a bit of the warm fuzzies.
..Just a bit.

"Exactly!" Finally, he removed the arm in question, scratching at the back of his head as he glanced around, "But we must arm ourselves first, I suppose. I couldn't be with a greater group of people though, we're all a little odd in our own ways aren't we?"

He felt a bit better when the arm was no longer draped around him. Not that he disliked Jerry or anything he just wasn't a big fan of being touched, but at least Jude took it well instead of snapping at his newfound friend. The young man nodded a bit, "Well, I guess it is out there waiting for us whenever we're ready, our weapons are anyways. We just need to go get 'em."
Jude seemed to think about the last part of Jerry's reflection before he answered, "Yes, I guess we all are...Want to head back inside?"

"Just a matter of... reaching out and grabbing it, I suppose!" Jerry smiled, glancing to the door, "Yes, I think I've had enough fresh fog for the evening!"
In the back of his mind, he wondered if there was any options as far as hard drinks on the island.
Probably not.
But he could definitely use one.

Jude chuckled slightly, humorlessly as he nodded a bit, "Yes I guess we did."
The young man turned and moved to the door quietly pulling it open so that Jerry could go through first and he would then follow. "Hey, good luck on your weapon-getting-thing. I don't know when I'll be going but...Well good luck that's all."
He didn't know what to expect when it came to the weapon deal.
Quietly Jude waited for Jerry to wander through the door.

"To you as well! Hopefully it won't be anything to worry about!" He sounded a lot more convinced than he was. "It was a pleasure, Jude." One final grin, and the chipper man slipped back inside.

"Hopefully. Be sure to tell me your grand adventure when it's all over," Jude smirked a bit as he then moved to follow him in closing the door behind them. "It was fun," Jude replied sincerely as he followed Jerry back up stairs and then went back to his own room to meditate on a few things.
