______________________________________________________________________________ Soren simply sat there with shut eyes. 'do they really not see a Marine Captain as a threat... I can understand my great disadvantage in here... however the more they talk... the more information they give me... maybe the girl already see's me as a part of her crew... or perhaps it's just because we were in that bigger ones mouth...' He thought, his left eye twitching slightly at the thought. 'being taken hostage by pirates... I'll certainly be getting chewed out for this one...' He thought opening on eye at the mention of a ship large enough to contain Alka. "Actually" He said finally looking up at the giant fish. "a ship that large would be fairly easy to control... the problem would be building it... even with someone of your size helping it... you see most ships have been created with the intent of one man operations as to allow other people on the boat to prepare for battle, this is done through a series of ropes and pullies... while I'm no ship wright... I'm sure a skilled one could very easily build one to accommodate you... the real problem would be obtaining the resources to craft such a masterpiece" He said with a quiet laugh. "Now tell me... how long do you intend to keep me here as your little pet..." He asked standing up finally. ______________________________________________________________________________

She looked to Soren as he talked, listening. The more he said, the more likely getting the boat seemed. Plus, it'd help to have Alka there, helping with the operations. And, of course, that brought up the need for a navigator... Sunny brushed the thought aside for now, rolling her eyes at Soren when he referred to himself as a "pet." "We're not treating you like a pet. And there are select problems in taking you back, you know. We can't simply drop you off back at Yoroi, or your men will kill us. Even if you promise they wouldn't, I don't want to run the risk of my nakama being hurt. Now, we could probably take you to the next and nearest island, where you could have your men pick you up or something, but then we'd have to ride in Alka's mouth again, and given the fact she could eat us at any given moment, I'd rather not." Sunny frowned, looking at her sister's sleeping form. It was always strange to look at the look on Luna's face as she slept; it was the only time she wasn't scowling. Looking up, she glanced from Soren to Alka. "Any plans?"

______________________________________________________________________________ Soren found him self laughing quietly at Sunny's comment about becoming the next pirate kings... "Please... I'd be more likely to become pirate king then you... as well you'd be the next pirate QUEENS... I'm afraid you don't have the... 'requirements' to be a 'king'.." He said referring to her Gender... "as well you're to kind... you need to be ruthless... with pirates it's kill or be killed, whether you're willing to admit it or not... I'm sure your giant fish friend there can tell you what it's like seeing as she had no problem killing three of my men... one of them had a new born little girl... tell me Sunny... could you take a mans life on such a whim as that?" He asked walking closer to her, resting a hand on his hip while looking down at her. "while it's true piracy is primarily based on a want for adventure and freedom... it became a war all on it's own... thats what we the navy are for... we're here to keep irresponsible pirates who don't know what their getting into from one: killing them selves, and two: killing innocent people..." He said narrowing his eye's at her.
"Now as for getting me out of here, if you truly mean to let me leave in one piece... why don't you simply take me on that board of light you used earlier... I'm sure it's fast enough to take me to some nearby island in no time... or even the other end of that other island... you'd be to small to be spotted so long as you don't create a slip stream within the water..." He said rubbing the back of his head at the thought of needing to be that close on such a tiny board... ______________________________________________________________________________

Saying that we would be the pirate queens would imply that there was a man more powerful than us, sitting atop a throne. Luna and I will be the Pirate Kings, because we'll be the most powerful pirates on the seas. And don't question my dream," Sunny said, speaking with a straight face. "As for the killing... you're wrong. You don't have to be ruthlessly strong or a cold-blooded killer to be strong. Sometimes, true strength is simply knowing when to pick a fight and when it's not worth it. And I assure you, I would risk my life in a battle if it meant protecting my nakama. So don't worry about that."
xxxxxSunny thought about Soren's suggestion. He was right, of course. Going on her little surfboard would be both faster and less dangerous. Plus, if she was shot at, it was sunny outside so the bullets would simply pass through her. The problem would be getting back soon enough for Luna to take her shift as captain- because if she passed out in the middle of the seas, the consequences would be dire. "It sounds okay to me. That is, if Alka doesn't mind staying here to watch after Luna."

______________________________________________________________________________ "You take the term to literally... the term of a king and queen has never meant that a king was more powerful... there is a queen and her king, and a king and his queen... their both at the top and if you were to get married then that man would become your king... that simple... tho you would also be his queen... strength doesn't matter when it comes to how you feel about a person... and I will question your dream simply because" He leaned forward, bringing his face fairly close to Sunny's. "you sound like a power hungry brat spouting such things..." He said with a dull look in his eyes. He leaned back slowly as he simply sighed once more. 'no doubt she'll stubbornly disregard my words and continue on with her little game... and whats with the other girl... she's done nothing but sleep... even after being eaten...' He thought to him self, placing his hands behind his head as he awaited an answer. ______________________________________________________________________________

It was true; Luna was always the one striving to become stronger and more powerful. But then, Luna was already stronger than Sunny, and she had a goal to top her off... Sunny simply wanted to see her sister suceed, and helped by being the daytime captain. "And I don't care what I sound like. Maybe I am a brat in some sense, but that's not going to stop me from achieving my dreams." Crossing her arms over her chest, she stared at Soren. "When I was a little girl, my parents and brothers were arrested for their research on the devil fruits. Luna and I escaped. If we can become the Pirate Kings, then they'll hear our names and know we're fighting. Even if they're deep in the bowels of Impel Down, if we become powerful enough to claim the title of "Pirate King" ...rescuing them isn't a crazy dream." Sunny clenched her fist, taking a deep breath before yelling, "So call me selfish, bratty or crazy, but I won't give up on my dreams!"

Alka scowled. She still preferred the idea of getting halfway close and then simply chucking him. It would have been great fun. If she was successful in getting him on the island, she could boast about her marksmanship skills. If not and he either fell short, went too far, or drifted to either side...well it was one less marine. How troublesome. Alka waited until Sunny had finished declaring and defending her dreams before speaking, and then brought it up. "Hack-hem. Humans, here's a thought from the species you seem to not to co-exist with. Bekkou Island isn't exactly home, nor will it protect us. Sunny, we've killed probably a good hour or so arguing how this is going to go down. I have a better idea. Luna goes in my mouth. You and the marine ride on top of my head....assuming of course that you both have the grip strength to hold on while I swim. We get to an island, we drop footstool here off, and if it's that time, you and Luna change spots, and maybe talk. So long as I know where we're going, then let's make it happen. Choose where we're planting you, footstool, cuz I'm really the only way you have off of this island. And before you ask, we're not going back to Yoroi."

You should just wait here with Luna, I'll take Soren back to Yoroi. Like he said, if I approach from behind, they won't see me and I can come back safely." Frowning and looking up at the island's cover thoughtfully, she added, "If Luna wakes up, explain things to her. If she tries to attack you, just... flick her, or something." While it sounded like a mean thing to order on her own sister, Sunny knew Luna didn't like to listen too often. In fact, she pretty much liked doing the exact opposite, and if she knew- or even thought- her sister was in danger, Luna was likely to go on a terrible rampage that Sunny wouldn't wish on anyone. Turning to Soren, she sighed. "Ready to go?"

Alka had been about to protest, but figured Sunny would simply do things her way anyway. Giving a general exhausted sigh or murmur, Alka flopped down, resting her head on her forearms, crossed over one another. Stupid coat wearing footstool. It's not how you make a living as a pirate...or a revolutionary. You don't make friends with marines. I mean, I suppose you could, so long as they're corrupt, or the shoe-polishers. Mrrrrh. Whatever. If she gets captured I'm sure we'll just go tear something down and rescue her. It might be fun unto itself, but a pain nonetheless. Alka rolled her upper lip as if to attempt to snarl at Soren, but gave up and lazily rubbed below her eye. She probably had bags under her eyes, given her lack of any real sleep since her departure from Honeycomb. Her gaze drifted down to the sleeping Luna. Lucky. All you have to do is pilot a boat at night when there's no trouble. And now you don't even have to do that. Now all you'll have to do is hold on. It's gonna be a pain though, since I like being underwater, and if I have passengers....I can't do that.

'you little fool... that's not a dream... that's an excuse to not have a real one...' He thought to him self, rubbing the back of his head. Tho he couldn't help but arch an eye brow at his new nick name. "Foot stool? listen up sister cause you're getting pretty annoying" He said pointing a finger at Alka while not even looking at her. "just because you're so damn big don't give you the right to b***h at others just because you're in a pissy mood... I basically just got eaten by you and your god awful breath and you don't hear me complaining... god... you're always in such a bitchy mood... who shoved a bug up your a**" He said finally lifting his head enough to actually look at Alka... "as for a ship wright... I'd heard there was a ship carrying a ton of skilled ones to take a look at a new boat of some kind... but it was attacked and seemingly all were killed... this took place in the south blue so maybe if you look around and get lucky you can find one of them" He said rubbing the back of his head. "and I'm ready when ever you are" He said looking back at Sunny. ______________________________________________________________________________

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ xxxxxSunny resisted the urge to smack Soren upside the head. "Would you two stop bickering?!" She snapped, shooting both of them annoyed glances. Amazing; even Sunny had a fuse- a short one when it came to the constant bickering back and forth. Can't we all just get along? Sunny thought, heaving a sigh. Still, she decided the best thing to do was go now and get this trip over with, and be back before Luna was awake to worry. Consentrating on her skills, she made a small, curved plate out of sunlight; the same she used for herself, but a little bit larger. "Hop on. You're going to have to hold your breath while I work on getting us out of here, but otherwise, it should be a relatively smooth ride." Considering she couldn't make the board too much bigger, it'd be a cramped ride, as well, but that wasn't so much as a pressing matter as leaving Soren with two people who hated marines. Which, should Sunny have decided to wait until morning, wouldn't be the best of ideas. So, hovering on her board of sunlight, she waited for Soren to do something.

"Tch. Amazing, isn't it. Just how useless you can be when you can't swim or breathe underwater. Of course, I wouldn't expect a footstool to know how to do either." Alka loved antagonizing marines, particularly those on "friendly" terms due to necessity. At last though she rolled her eyes and opened her mouth, taking hold of Soren and Sunny, and again placing them in there against the bottom of her tongue. She shut her mouth, and after circling around to the entrance to the island, dove under to clear the one obstacle that made their normal entrance impossible. Alka surfaced shortly after clearing the ridge of the socket, and opened her mouth to let Sunny and Soren out. She technically could have just held them in her hand as she dove, but given how the pressure was already increasing near the entrance itself, they might have been sick or nauseous...and unable to travel. Which meant more time with the unpleasant stiff in uniform, something Alka was not prepared to accept to doing.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ xxxxxSunny formed her sun-board again and floated out a bit by Alka's lip. It was so... strange riding in her first mate's mouth... it was just... strange. She could've reinacted the orb-test from Honeycomb, but that would've made them hold their breath until they got out and above the water, and it'd make things much more difficult. In a lot of ways, having Alka help them out was much easier. "Thanks, Alka-chan!" Sunny said, allowing her eyes to trail over the sun. I have two hours, tops. If I'm quick enough, I can get there and back pretty soon, but I'll have to hold my concentration until then... Sunny took a deep breath, ready for whatever was bound to happen. "Soren, hop on. You might have to hold onto me, somehow, but this is as big as I can make it without it becoming a huge waste of energy and too hard to control." There was definitely enough room for both she and Soren, but Sunny had to go to a few extra measures- her feet were sunk down inside of the board so she wouldn't fall off- in order to make things safer. She didn't know how Soren planned on getting on (behind her, maybe? He'd definitely have to stand, and he couldn't get in front of her or she'd be blinded), but either way, he'd better be prepared to hold on for a while.

______________________________________________________________________________ Soren arched an eye brow as he was about to put up a shield, tho when Alka took Sunny as well, he relaxed a little as they were taken to the surface. As Sunny created her board and floated out of Alka's mouth, Soren simply sighed as jumped up to grab the edge of the board, swinging to and fro a few times. "it's like a bad play..." He mumbled to him self, climbing up the board behind Sunny as he wrapped his arms around her, just below her chest as he rested his head on her shoulder. "alright, lets go..." He said looking down at Alka... Truth be told it was a scary sight... A giant fish woman that could eat him in one solid bite... Never the less he simply waved once to her. ______________________________________________________________________________
