"I guess." Eve murmured; Lucy was lucky that she was currently too distracted to notice that he had seemed interested in what was transpiring between Seth and her. If she had, she would have delightedly congratulate him and proclaim that it was her influence (which it probably was), wiping away a mock tear of pride in the process. She looked akin to a lost puppy now, mulling in her thoughts about the very idea of going on a date with Seth. But then there was that thing with Zephyr and.... augh, she had decided to date other guys to take her mind off that anyway! It wouldn't hurt!

She had jumped when Seth decided to pose the question back at her. It was a surprise that he had actually said that, even more of when he had accepted what they had thought she had implied. "Um... that's fine with me!" Her cheeks turned a little pink then and her feet shuffled awkwardly. This was stranger than she thought it would be! She wasn't even faking it; some guys liked girls to be a little shy, but normally Eve was just bright and accepting... It was all that vision's fault! "We can text and decide where to go, I guess?"

"And I will never leave you to your books, Lucy!" Eve declared, standing up from the bed and whacking him on the head with her pillow. "I mean, what would you do without me? Lapse into another whole new level of boringness!" She had absolutely no doubt that it would actually happen. After all, it had been weeks since she had seen him, and their first meeting on campus had to be when he was reading a book! "I should go though." She concluded. "Before your roommate comes back." A smile was directed at the both of them before she left the room, happier than she had when she had first entered.
