Lily jumped when a water balloon hit her back and splash just like that her curls drooped and her tan back became extremely wet. Despite her surprise she gave a laugh, shouting, "You got me, but I'm going to get you too," with a huge smile on her face.
It seemed for the most part everyone was okay to get their clothes wet, but Lily hadn't dawned a bathing suit yet and so she just had to take the opportunity even if looked like she was the odd one out, running around in a flowered bikini top.
She quickly grabbed another balloon her confidence high, as her prior balloon had hit its marked and launched it at the black team. The red team was going to win for sure.

Black Team
Peter snorted from beside Paris as he balanced a full water balloon in one hand. "What the hell was that??" he laughed, obviously gleeful for the opportunity to play a game like this. What was more fun than pelting people with water balloons??
"Who taught you how to throw?? You do know my brother is a pitcher, right?? Is he not teaching you anything?? Go figure he's not here. He's too much of a loser to play games," Peter explained, rolling the balloon into his other hand as he looked for an unsuspecting target.
"That's your roommate, isn't it?" he asked, nodding towards the red-head that just got splashed with another balloon. "Bet I can hit her!" he chirped taking aim and lobbing it towards Lily.

Paris couldn't say he was all that surprised when his throw ended up being nothing more than a dud, but he was a little disappointed. He knew his aim sucked but he hadn't thought it was that bad.
"Your brother has other things to do," Paris said, frowning down at Peter. "And don't curse. What would your brother say? Or your mother?" he corrected himself, since it didn't seem as if Peter cared all that much about what his older brother thought. "I'm sure she wouldn't like to hear that from you."
Ugh. What was he even doing lecturing kids? Much less bringing their mothers into it...
He 'tsk'ed when Peter took aim at Lily, though he didn't say anything about it since she was on the other team. It was kind of the point to throw balloons at her. Paris, however, decided to be nice and not toss his balloon in that direction, and took aim at one of the red team kids instead.

Seeing others going back for more balloons, Jenna did the same. Picking up another balloon she hurried back to where she'd previously been standing, so she had a good chance of hitting someone. She was already wet, from a balloon making contact with her. Throwing her balloon, with a cheerful cry of happiness.
She was suddenly very glad she'd braided her hair before coming here, her long hair would only get in her way. She'd have to though un braid it, brush it all out, and re braid it later so it could dry and be knot free. Maybe she could find someone to re braid her hair for her? It was rather tiring to do it all the time, but she refused to cut her hair aside from the needed trimmings.

Aitana was a brawler, not a planner. So while some others stood back and simply made more balloons in hopes of being shielded from the onslaught of water and plastic Aitana was busy stealing said balloons from the waiting piles and heaving them at the red team.
Grasping a big purple balloon she hitched her shoulder back, taking a few running steps before heaving the next one through the air.

Even Ainsley had been aware of the Water Balloon Fight and although her alternative personality may have been right on the money with her aim, Ainsley was not. She probably couldn't even hit the Mess Hall at pointblank, but she didn't want that to stop her from at least trying to play. She was glad the teams needed someone had to fill up water balloons and Ainsley was your girl. She was determined to be the best water balloon filler she could be... oops. She didn't mean to drop one of the water balloons, breaking it on the ground. She sighed and with haste she went to make a new one!

Lily got hit splash with yet another balloon soaking her hair and making a curls droop more. She frowned as water dripped down her face, the picture of dang I got hit again. She noticed another water balloon headed for her, but it fell short and broke apart on the ground making muddy puddle, much to Lily's great displeasure.
She pulled a face the clear read yuck and grabbed another water balloon to launch at Chris' brother Peter. "Hey Peter," she called with a big grinned and happily tossed the balloon, hoping not to hit Paris.
This was fun despite trying to maneuver around mud puddles that formed like everywhere.

Harper took a moment to stretch and synch her red bandana to her head before the Adira gave the signal to begin. She came dressed for "battle" in her one-piece, dark blue swimsuit -- no frills -- and a pair of blue jean shorts to hopefully stave off too much brushburn damage from the grass. She wasn't very athletic, really, but that didn't mean she would go down without a fight!
At the "go" she was off, brown eyes darting about the crowd in search of a black-bandana-bullseye.

Istas saw Aitana and Paris, however Paris' balloon managed to land on her head she was laughing as she got drowned. Her eyes was watching the boy that had grounded Aitana for a day before grinning and lobbing a blue water balloon at him.
"Catch!" She called at Paris wondering if he'd actually try to catch the balloon.

RED RED RED
Team projects were always Erika's weak spot. She wanted to do everything herself and, by doing so, prevent herself from failing or losing. In sports, this was impossible. In a water-balloon battle royale, it was even more impossible. She hadn't even thrown anything and was already soaked almost head to toe!
Well, at least her new bathing suit was seeing a decent amount of use, right? Shep would be pleased that it hadn't been a waste.
She pushed her headband--the red bandana assigned to her team--back on her head. It kept the longer sections of hair out of her eyes, even if she looked kind of ridiculous. She didn't know anyone--nobody. At all. So she ended up just... lobbing her water ballon into a knot of Black-team campers. Even with her eyes closed, it was a dead-on hit; she cracked one eye opened and grinned triumphantly at the sight of a Black team member shaking water out of their hair.

Peter scowled when his water balloon fell short, grumbling about how the wind blew it off course or something. Clearly it hadn't been his fault. Doning a determined expression, the ten-year-old tried to dodge the water balloon that Lily threw back at him, but didn't make it out of the way in time, letting out a noise of displeasure when it splattered all over him.
"Hey! You're gonna pay for that!" he shouted, completely ignoring Paris's nagging. He didn't want to get into the topic of his mom getting mad at him. Right now was a time to play and he was going to focus on that.
The boy ran over to the stash of balloons, picking one up to lob back at Lily. And hopefully it would actually hit her, this time. Serves her right!

Paris rolled his eyes as he was completely ignored by Peter, but it wasn't worth mentioning. He wasn't here to get into an argument with Chris's little brother. He was trying to focus on winning anyway, and after Peter had missed his intended target and was then splashed with water, Paris saw Istas' balloon coming for him. It hadn't been thrown very well -- or maybe it had? -- and he was able to catch it deftly in his hands.
"Got it!" he called back, then made an underhanded toss back to her. He didn't want to throw it too hard at a little girl. "Watch out!"

Red Team
"Lord Boring." Lucien grumbled beneath his breath, casting Eve a vaguely irritated look before quickly following her lead, tying his red bandanna around his arm. Honestly, he felt himself lucky that he and the blond girl were on the same team. Had they been on opposing teams, he was certain that he would have spent most of the game trying to dodge attacks from her.
Taking a moment to survey his surroundings--really, the last thing he wanted to do was hit a poor kid in the face or something--he picked up one of the water balloons and tossed it...somewhere. He had tossed it in the general direction of some of the other counselors on the other team.
Needless to say, his balloon didn't make it.

Missing her target only made Harper more determined. If this had been another setting -- one with consequences a little greater than fellow campers getting splashed with water -- she would have been eyeing her own teammates during the fray equally with the "enemy," looking for weaknesses that hurting their chances of winning. As it was, however, it was simply a fun, chaotic game. As she dodged a low flying projectile another exploded on the side of her head. Laughing, Harper lobbed her own water balloon in the direction of the assaults.

Smiling at Istas, who she liked to think was something of a friend of hers. Turning around she ran to get another water balloon and without great aim, or anything else, Jenna threw it toward Istas. "Catch, Istas!"
Calling loudly, with a laugh. She was already wet, and happily so. This was great fun, and being wet was a big part of that fun.
