Leon walked into the firing range and leaned on the wall. he was waiting for Scarlet to get there so he could help her get use to handling his high power attack forms. 'what's keeping her?' he wondered as he watched the door for his meister.

Scarlet finally ran out onto the firing rage, looking around for Leon. They hadn't been partners very long and this was her first serious training session with her Weapon and what does she do? She shows up late. It seriously hadn't been her fault though, she'd gotten caught up in a rush of people and had to try and squeeze through the crowd moving in the opposite direction she was. After catching her breath from running there after making it through the crowd she spotted Leon, leaning against a wall. Walking over to where he was she gave him a small smile. "Sorry I'm late," She said, the smile dropping from her face almost completely. That's how she usually was, there wasn't any change in her behavior by her looking somber. "So, what do we need to do here again?" She asked, crossing her arms across her chest. Again, completely normal behavior for Scarlet.

"Don't worry about being late. i didn't give a time to be here did i?" Leon said with a chuckle "We are here so you can use my howitzer cannon form without getting knocked off your feet or slide backwards an inch. then we are going to see how well you use my soul resonance attack, Alucard's wrath." he explained the point of today’s exorcise before he transformed into the modified howitzer cannon rifle he used when she wanted stopping power.

Scarlet nodded when he explained the point of today's training and the turned into his cannon form. Sighing softly, she weighed the large gun in her hand. It must've just been her but the gun felt heavier than it usually was. Shaking her head to rid her mind of these thoughts she took her place far enough back from a target. Taking aim she breathed out quietly and made sure her footing was stable. Then, she pulled the trigger. The shot hit the target but Scarlet was knocked back at least half a foot. She managed to stay on her feet, though. The last time she'd tried using Leon in this particular form she ended up being blown back a good two feet and knocked flat on her butt. So this time, it was definitely an improvement.

"That's good. now try again. we need to make sure you don't give any room for our enemies to move in if the shot doesn't hit its target." Leon said approvingly.

Scarlet nodded again with a small sigh. She knew that if she didn't get this today, she was going to beat herself up over it. She didn't like not being able to do something, it infuriated and annoyed the hell out of her. She continued this process multiple times, each time getting better than the last but still no luck in doing exactly what was needed. Honestly, Scarlet preferred using Leon in one of his sword forms or a smaller gun. She would've preferred not to use this form at all but sometimes the other forms just don't cut it, especially when you run into a kishin that is very powerful and you need a lot of force. Finally on what may have been her seventh try, she held her footing strong and stable and when she fired, she only scooted back a centimeter. A smile of triumph spread across the meister's features. "Finally," She mumbled.

"Alright! now on to the soul resonance attack." Leon said with a smile from inside the howitzer cannon. "When you are ready we can start the resonance attack."

Scarlet nodded with a sigh. Her muscles ached from holding up his large howitzer cannon form but it was just a dull pain. "Ready," She finally mumbled. "Soul Resonance!" She said, beginning to match her wavelength with her partners. [[OOC: Sorry I took so long, a lot of stuff came up..]]

"Soul resonance!" Leon said as he instantly adjusted to her wavelength and transformed into the arm mounted cannon his mom used when she used her resonance with his dad. "ready to fire upon your command." (it's cool)

Scarlet was alw a tad slowler when it came to adjusting her wavelenght so it was no surprise to her when she was just a few seconds behind Leon. Finally, the resonance was complete and the only thing left to do was shoot. A tiny smirk appeared on the meister's face. "Alucard's Wrath," she said, shotting at the target. The resonance had gone off without a hitch.

"Alright! Are you up for a mission?" Leon asked. he obviously felt confident in her abilities as a meister and they already had ten kishin eggs.

Hearing his question, the smirk grew even more obvious. "Definitely." She replied. She was eager to get back out hunting, especially now that she could control Leon's forms almost perfectly, there were still a few rough edges but that was to be expected. No meister could be perfect. She and Leon had already been tested in battle against Kishin's and they'd already collected ten eggs.

"Before we do, why don't we try out a new form." Leon said before transforming into a seven foot buster sword with a hidden howitzer cannon in the blade. "This form gives you the best of both worlds. just flip the hilt down and pull the lower half of the blade down and you got the cannon again with a blade to back it up."

Scarlet nodded. When she held the new weapon form, a thin black eyebrow rose slightly. Well, this was certianly a special form...Sighing softly, she weighed it in her hands. This was how Scarlet approached each new weapon form, especially sword-type forms. She swung it aroung, testing how easily she could use it. "Seems easy enough," She mumbled after a while. She went through the usual motions of getting used to a new weapon, though this one took a bit longer because it had two parts. That meant she also had to get used to flipping it from one form to the next. Scarlet always made sure she was thorough when it came to practicing with a new weapon form for the first time. She practiced firing it a few times and just went through the normal motions. Finally she sighed softly. "Okay, I think I'm good with this form. Though, I don't want to use it in battle until I get a few more weeks of practice with it." She said. She was always a tad cautious with new weapon forms.
