Lilith smiled into the kiss and replied back to his answer, causing there to be unhappy follyjoxes everywhere. How come Lilith didn't kiss them like that? They wanted kisses, and they didn't want the demon to be getting them! Unfortunately, Lilith's lips were too busy attending to the demon to reply to their whining and when they finally stopped being occupied her attention was on him. She'd pulled back, and she stated flatly.

"Then you can pick me up here on prom night, and don't be late."

Barth was late for everything on principle. Woozily, he said, "I'll make an exception. On the being late." He would also be making an exception on who picked up who. No one had claimed dating was easy. Unfortunately.

He leaned back too, hair and jacket a bit more fussed than they had been to start with. Prom was only two days away. And he still had a lot to do (or have Christof do) in the meantime.

"Prom night," he repeated happily, taking the dismissal for what it was. And hoping it carried an unspoken ...to be continued. He eased towards the door, again careful of the follyjoxes, although at this point most of them had swarmed to the bed in a sort of defensive barricade of wanting a attention. "I'll see you then."

Even though he had been using a labor saving device, the trip down the tower stairs felt somehow easier than the trip up.

And then he was gone and Lilith fell back against the surface of the bed, follyjoxes soon piling on top of her as if to stop her from leaving them. Oh, they were all so cute and so very protective and most definitely wanted her all to themselves. She couldn't stay like this forever though. A girl had to look stunning on the prom night and she had very little time to prepare, not that she hadn't foreseen the sloth demon asking her and sending for a dress, but she still had to do her hair and everything else that would make the sloth demon melt.

Two days. He'd better not be late otherwise he'd miss out on his reward.
