So, if i'm understanding you guys correctly this build is designed for popping out shine balls to synch for Trish? Sadly I'm still trying to get my hands on one, the only 9s I have are Field Marshal and Mist Wurm.
The best heavy hitters I've got are Hyperion, Avenging Knight, and Athena. So im trying to focus my build around them.
I've tried running Divine Punishment but it seems to be a dead draw if i cant get Sanctuary... I'd think with 2 and 3 Zeradias I wouldn't have trouble getting Sanctuary... but it seems to be a problem anyway
stare It's not juyst for popping out trish. It supplies draw power and also will allow for Xyz summons such as Gachi Gachi Gantetsu which will bump your atk/def for just 1000 points (venus effect for 2 shineball) This deck pumps out a small amount of synchros and a large amount of hyperion. There's no reason to worry about summoning trish.
As for divine punishment, it's not necessarily needed right away. you can play them down for bluff but you have a 5 card chance of drawing sanctuary. That's 1/40 on first hand and then there's all the draw power in the deck thanks to cards in the sky and white elephant's gift. Deck thinning is amazing and it won't be hard to get your hands on sanctuary.
Last but not least, Zeradias. Zeradias is a great card with sanctuary on the field, but like i said, it's an easy + for the enemy because by getting rid of sanctuary, they destroy any zeradias on the field. Also, since zeradias needs sanctuary, he's a dead draw without it because then you need to discard it to get sanctuary and no longer have a zeradias in hand to summon, unless you're lucky enough to draw multiples first turn. Lastly, you had 2 sanctuary and 3 zeradias. you should never have more searchers than you do field spell because once all the field spells are gone, you most likely can't get them back from the grave so your searcher is useless. His 2100 atk will go to waste.
