She gave a small chuckle. "My father will always be my superior..." She beamed slightly. "My scars are but minor wounds... they healed and I learned from each and every one." She eyed him closely. "If I'm keeping you though by all means don't pose etiquette for me.."

He flattened his ears, a little ashamed. Had be made her feel as if his attention was so far elsewhere? I mean, his mind might had traveled a bit but he thought he was still being mannerly. He spoke quietly, apologetically. "No, no of course not. And I would never 'pose etiquette'." He nearly sounded offended. His mother would whip his hide if anyone where to think he was being falsely nice. That was almost as bad as being rude out right.
"But of course, I've stolen your time enough for one morning." He took his foot a half foot further and bowed his big head to the ground.
"It has been an exquisite pleasure being in your company today, Miss Merashik." He made sure each word was dripping with sincerity, which it was honest. He was just sad to see such a amazing battle-source leave.

She smiled some and looked behind her. her mind had been distracted enough to settle that she's just have to trust in her son's choice. "Sadly.. My presence is needed elsewhere at the moment or I'd stay to chat.. I've... family issues to attend to. perhaps fate might bring our paths to cross once more.. if not travel well and safe." Bowing her head, she turned and made her way back the direction in which she had first come.
