Niflhel watched her as she nodded, he looked at her and watched her. "I've been feeling this way for a while." He said softly, looking at her as she moved her hand.
He took his to brush a few strands of her hair back, "It just, the letter and pictures I've found... they convinced me I should at least try." He looked at her nodding, "I know our lives aren't predestined, but... it just helped..." He said softly, almost guilty looking.

There was sincerity on his face.. a tenderness in the way his fingers brushed her hair. The feelings had been there all along.. tangled in a web of circumstances and cowardice on both their parts. It seemed they still had a lot to learn from each of their past selves.
Her arms wrapped around him, cheek pressing against where her hand had once been resting. Smiling up to him, she teased softly, her good mood just bubbling over. "I want to have five babies."
Waiting only long enough for the first hints of his sure to be surprised response she continued. "I'm kidding. Well.. actually I'm not. But I am for right now."

Niflhel's eyes widened as she said she wanted to have five children. "Woahh..." He looked at her shocked, he didn't really know what to say, when she said she was kidding... for now he sighed.
"Lets see how we feel about kids after this war is over, kay?" He asked trying to be serious, he really wasn't ready for kids. "Either that or we can baby sit the kids that are running around as senshi's."
He smiled softly leaning his head on hers. "So will you come out camping? We can spend a few nights figuring things out that way, maybe without a lot of interruptions."

"So serious..." She seemed to pout, but she nodded nonetheless. "But you're very right" They had an entire lifetime for those kind of things and he was right. A battlefield was no place for children or pregnant senshi. They needed a safe world first. And so much more. Time getting to know each other.. time to grow and become whatever it was they wanted and needed to be.
And anyway. He'd totally have to propose and they'd have to get married before anything even remotely reminescent of baby making could happen. Azzo was more than safe from the prudish senshi of magnetism.
"It's a date" She confirmed his offer with a smile that she could barely contain. "When you know the dates for sure let me know and I'll figure out the best time."
Oh how quickly things could change. In simple days. Life was just full of surprises.

He chuckled softly, as she said so serious. He nodded softly as she finally agreed. He smiled when she said it's a date, "Good." He said when she confirmed she'd be there.
He looked up at the sky, "So I know we leave tomorrow for training and stuff, I'll try to let you know when the best time to come up would be." He smiled at her with a nod. "Would you rather a tent or the cabin?"

Tommorow! How cruel. To profess his love for her and then just leave. Well.. atleast it gave her time to think.. and adjust.. and squeal in absolute girly joy in the privacy of her home.
"I've never been in a tent before so that would be neat... but I don't really want to get stuck there too long if I absolutely hate it." Her eyes were apologetic, she knew she was being difficult. "Whatever you choose will be fine really."
"What kind of things do I need to bring for camping?" Did it involve a suitcase?

Niflhel looked at her with a smile, "Mm... well we won't be stuck in the tent, the ranger station won't be far away." He promised with a smile.
He pondered, "well make sure you have sunscreen, and bug spray. You'll probably want to bring a bathing suit." he paused thinking, "Then whatever you want to wear. Make sure the shoes are suitable for walking though you don't want high heels."
He smiled, "Then you know enough stuff for however long you're staying. If you think it might be a week, bring a week's worth of stuff." He said looking at the moon he sighed, "I should probably get going so I can be up in time for my ride tomorrow. She'll probably leave without me if I'm not careful."
He laughed rubbing the back of his head, as he looked at Polaris. "Do you want me to walk you to your dorm or are you going to patrol more?"

She carefully logged each item in her memory as he spoke, offering a soft nose crinkle to the word bug spray and a mild lip bite at bathingsuit. She'd have to dig through her shoes too and potentially buy more.. because ballet slippers probably weren't going to cut it either.
"You go home and go to bed." She mused softly. "You're going to need plenty of energy to keep up with all the little ones"
"I'll patrol a little longer." Maybe she would.. maybe she wouldn't, but if it would get him home sooner she was willing to make the little white lie.

Niflhel tried not to laugh as she wrinkled her nose, "Don't worry it's mostly at night you'd have to worry about bugs."
He smiled and nodded, "If they run off, and you know we do basic patrols too, and whatever else. Make sure no one's setting fires where they shouldn't and what not. I could swoop in as a knight if a kid's running away though and get out before anyone noticed me." He was joking, vaguely.
He pulled her closer in the hug for a second before Kissing her forehead. "I'll call you when we're settled in and you can come up." He promised before pulling away, "I'll see you soon."

"I'm sure they're in good hands. Have fun too." Really after everything, organ rings... family problems... fighting to find out where he belonged in the world.. he deserved to have a good time. To just spend a summer away.. as a normal guy.
It was that alone that would help her get through a summer without him.
Her eyes closed, nose scrunching once more, though this time due to the delighted smile.
"Good bye! See you soon" She called after him as Niflhel disappeared back into the streets, leaving her alone in the alleyway they'd detoured into.
Until she was called and until he was back she'd do double duty, his job and hers. But for tonight well.. tonight she could just indulge in a bit of star gazing atop the tallest buildings in Destiny City.
