From the baffled look on Astra's face, it seemed she didn't quite understand what he had said. The dragon rolled his eyes but didn't say anything else on the matter. Perhaps he really should start calling her a butterfly if this was going to be a problem.
Focusing on her again, he raised a brow at the question. Did she really have to ask? This girl knew next to nothing of dragons didn't she? Then again, thinking that he was reptile probably proved that enough.
"I'm born with that ability. It's just a matter of honing it," he said, "Just like how you're born with the ability to use magic."

...
Born with the ability to use magic, huh? Astra seemed to deflate a little, looking the other way and feeling quite down at the dragons words.
"I have...the ability to lean magic...but I can't use magic naturally. It takes a lot of time and study to be able to learn it, and even then, there is some things I wont be able to do." At the moment, all she could do was use her fear power, and even that was really weak. But anything else was beyond her capabilities. She was unable to even use her natural ability properly, and was unsure if she would be able to ever use it.
Not to mention that their exams were coming up..and she hadn't learned anything usual in regards to her reaper abilities. How was she supposed to pass a exam if she didn't know what to study for? not only that, but even if she got into second year, she was supposed to be a lot stronger then, but being so close to it, she felt like she hadn't grown at all. (physically or in ability). It would be so embarrassing if everyone suddenly got a lot stronger then her and she stayed the same...
The fairy began to panic at the thoughts of the exams, looking quite troubled and almost forgetting she had been talking to jericho at this point

Eh. He was pretty close on the mark for that one. Though, something about all of it seemed to bother the faerie for one reason or another. Jericho didn't know what was going through her mind, nor did he really want to know, but he did have one thing to say.
"So what? It's like flight then. Those born with wings tend to naturally be able to have the ability to fly, but they gotta learn first," he said. Israfel was a rather good example of this right now, as the Siren had been earning his wings as of late.
"Besides, isn't that what you're here for?" He asked with a frown.

Astra seemed to like that comparison more, looking a little more calm as she stopped thinking about the exams and more upon the current conversation. Although flight and magic were two different things, fligt could still be rather difficult to learn. She remembered trying to fly when she was only a little kid, and how happy she felt when she had been able to do it properly.
"Well yeah, I'm here to learn how to do magic and expand on my abilities and all that" Astra responded to his question. "Though that doesn't mean it's a guarantee." And it wasn't like she had learned anything so far about magic.
"How much have you learned since you got here?"

Jericho wanted to say something along the lines of 'that faeries are annoying' but he refrained. This time at least.
"Not enough is all I can say," he said instead with a sort of gruff tone in his voice. He mainly just didn't want to elaborate further on this with the Klepto-fairy... or Klefairy for short. While she didn't have as big of a target on her any more, he still wasn't completely pleased with her after all.
"I've two more years here though."
Two years was just a pretty short blip in the life of a dragon, unfortunately.

"R-really?" Astra didn't want to seemed pleased at this, but deep down inside it made her feel a whole lot better about the situation. So it wasn't just her that felt like she wasn't going anywhere!
"Well, yeah, but you'll learn much more in those two years I'm sure" How could he not? regardless of how she felt about him (even though she was starting to get used to him) she knew he would ace whatever challenge he would be up against. Cause he was always charging into things regardless of how bad the consequences could be. It just showed how brave he could be especially if someone was in trouble.
But she still didn't like him! nope!

"I better," Jericho snorted. He was here for a reason and so far the main thing he had gotten was that he needed to have a more focused purpose. Or rather an actual purpose in life. That and he learned that strength alone wasn't quite everything.
It frustrated him just to think about it.
"Well if your business is done here, then I suggest you run along now."

As Astra watched the dragon, he seemed to look a little..frustrated about something. She wasn't exactly sure, but she figured he was thinking about school or something. But it was still making her rather nervous
Until he asked her to 'run along now'
"Ah! Okay!" The fairy quickly took to the air thinking it was her he was aiming his frustrations at, hoping to vacate the area as quick as she could
However she had neglected to look where she was going, and ended up flying into the wall again.
"Ow...." She sat there rubbing her head, looked up at jericho again and promptly bolted in the right direction this time.
