Era & Erinn & Rivia & Faran

Faran bounded across the sandy beach, delighted at the feeling of the sand beneath his paws. "Come on!" he shouted back to Erinn, who carefully followed behind, his eyes on little Rivia, "Let's go let's go!" The Vulpix jumped eagerly up and down, trilled to be out of the Team Room; anything involving other people was exciting!

"You go on ahead Faran," the Paras called back with a smile, "You'll be alright on your own I think."

Faran's eyes lit up, "Really?" he said with delight, Thanks Erinn!" Without another thought he raced forward through the sand, enjoying leaving paw prints that followed after him. the Vulpix didn't know what to think of the sand, it was so new, so different than what he was used to. Grinning, he traced little designs in the sand, smiling as he drew the face of a Vulpix. "It's me!" he said with a laugh, before looking around curiously at what there was to do. He spotted a pair of Pokemon playing tag in the water and grinned, bounding over through the sand to watch. They looked like they were having so much fun! He bounded over to the edge of the pool, staring out at the two. "Hey!" he called out, a grin on his face, "Whatcha doing?"

Erinn followed Rivia as the little Sandshrew made her way across the sand, padding calmly on all fours and feeling the sand curiously. It was her first time outside the Guild, but this was a trip to the beach; she would be fine. It had only partially been his decision to bring her in all honesty, Sereni had told him to take Rivia out in order to give Era a bit of company, and to keep watch over Faran. Their Team Leader was in a strange state at the moment, and clearly the Lanturn was concerned if she went alone. With a sigh, the Paras look about for Faran, spotting the Vulpix on the edge of the pool. He smiled slightly, Faran was always one to jump right into the action. When he looked back he found that Rivia had traveled a bit further than he would have expected; the Sandshrew was pawing at a certain Misdreavus, seemingly puzzled by the hair-like tendrils that streamed out behind her. "Ah, Rivia, don't do that!" the Paras said, hurrying over to her, "It's not polite to do that." Rivia looked at him curiously for a moment and then back up at the Misdreavus, raising a curious paw at her again before Erinn gently stopped her. "Hello," he said slightly awkwardly; this meeting seemed a bit odd.

Era silently sat upon the beach, her gaze pensive and without its characteristic joy. Things were...absolutely a mess with her Team, as was rather obvious by the others who had come with her. Erinn, Rivia, and Faran had all agreed to come along to the beach, but Era secretly harbored the feeling that they'd been put up to it. Well, except for Faran, nothing could subdue that Vulpix's spirit. Her usual escorts were missing, there was no large Dragonair by her side, murmuring comments to her in passing, no cheerful Eevee with his playing cards ready to show off his magic, not even a little Phione to cheer her up and put a smile on her face. Ethfael was in the Hospital recovering from his wounds and Riley was back at home slowly trying to confront himself, to forgive himself for what he'd done. The others on the Team had seemed less than thrilled at the opportunity to go to the beach, quite likely because the moral was so low. It caused the Pikachu no small amount of worry to know what was happening and no be able to help, yet so it was.

The Electric Type lay quietly in the sand, even her glowing wings without much energy. She looked up at the clouds and disregarded the world for the moment. Era normally was the first to search out a friend in opportunities like this, but she just didn't have the energy to do so. She felt slightly reminiscent as she lay in the sun on the beach. That one looks like you... the familiar voice echoed in her ears as she thought of the Eevee. Cloud gazing was a funny thing sometimes. What she needed most right now was a friend, but Era just wasn't aware of it. Who heals the healer?

Epitaph --- Ivy --- Saileithe --- Ver --- Alice --- Freya

Ivy came still after fleeing from the water once more. Her breathing grew heavier and her head turned toward the Pokemon that took refuge in the water, and then vanished beneath it. It looked like fun; a different world of sorts. Her attention pulled away quickly, growing bored as she looked back toward the beach and her tail stood high before wagging joyfully behind her. A lot of the guild came—they looked happy too. Ivy giggled as her eyes began to scan the crowd, but that expression soon faded and her eyes squinted as she stared off at Era in the distance. Well, almost everyone looked happy. Ivy’s tail came still.
The small Glaceon took a moment to look about again, she noticed Ver but he seemed busy so she took off once more, retreating back onto the beach. “You okay?” Ivy squeaked looking over at Era as she approached the Pikachu, clearly concerned. The royal promptly sat down in front of Era, staring at her with eyes wide in what seemed to be curiosity of both worry and interest.

Ver darted about in a circle as Alice’s eyes began to drag off at the sound of her name. She couldn’t exactly focus on as to where it came from until Ver finally stopped and stumbled a bit. The Ralts blinked, her large eyes carefully looking about again before catching view of Melissa, and her expression lit up. That was the Bulbasaur from the carnival!
“Oh! Hello Melissa!” Alice and Ver smiled a greeting at the Grass type as Alice hopped off Ver’s back and walked over to Melissa. “It’s nice out, isn’t it? How’ve you been?” “I’ll be about, Ali.” Ver shook his coat clean, gave a brief goodbye, and began to trot off. He’d rather let Alice do her own thing. There was plenty to do here with all the members about anyway. His eyes trailed off and about, resting on his Leafeon teammate that walked about a bit aimlessly. Her general direction was overall toward a certain Flareon. It took Ver a moment to register as to why—the twins weren’t exactly all that social, but if he did recall, Freya did meet them once before. She was the type to approach those she knew at all rather than those she didn’t. Ver smiled as he looked elsewhere and continued about on his way.

“You’ll melt the rock too if you’re not careful.” The Leafeon gave a bit of a smug smile at the Flareon as she slowly approached. Why bits and parts of the land were burned was rather obvious. She sat beside Atra with a sigh, though she kept a good few inches between the two. Personal space was a virtue. Her blue eyes carefully directed down toward the water as her expression neutralized for the most part, but kept an upbeat feel. “I couldn’t imagine you being here too. I assume the carnival was alright?” her voice didn’t retain any sort of cheerful or overseer-like tone. It just sounded normal, casual. She found the latter almost bothersome and even unappealing.

Basilisk :: Ren

Ren suddenly felt something trying to touch her, like a tapping. She stopped in her tracks and turned, thinking it might have been Basilisk trying to annoy her...she was pretty surprised when she saw it was a Sandshrew that had been pawing at her, accompanied by a Paras. Smiling, she looked at the two and shrugged it off. "Ah, hello. Great zay to be out, no?"

Basilisk had wandered far away from his partner now, walking down the side of the shore. Every few steps he took he left footprints, and every now and then the water came up and washed them away. He stopped walking and watched as his footprints were once again washed away and a sad look came into his eyes. He took his finger and wrote "Just like me" in the sad before walking away, not staying to see it be washed away quickly like before.

He kept walking until he found the walled off pool of calm water that this beach was said to have. Stangely, there was electricity all over it...with the water in there, would't it just be magnified? Sitting outside of the water, he waited for the electricity to die down as his tail leaf began to slightly glow, starting the process of photosynthesis.

( Red & Blue & Purple )

Blue was about to dip him and the egg in, but noting the entrance of a Plusle and Minun he decided it was safer to do something else. He jerked the egg away from the water and held it close to him, going back to where the team had set their towels. Once there, he put the egg down on his and took out a jar with...sunscreen? He scooped some of it up and began to coat the egg in it carefully, to which purple turned and raised a brow. Blue frowned, "We don't need any boiled eggs around here, do we?" he said, finishing up with the egg.

Once sunscreened, he gave the egg over to Purple. "Its your turn to watch...just be careful, okay?" he said. Purple nodded and Blue seemed hesitant to go for a moment, but ended up leaving anyways. He know what he was going to do - He was going to find himself a nice, old log or piece of driftwood and then he was going to find himself a wave. Wait, did this beach even have logs or driftwood? Maybe he could ask someone.

Purple closed his book and looked over to the egg, taking out yet another book from the teams bag. This one looked like a book to learn your alphabets, now why would a Rattata need to learn his alphabets? "I read somewhere that at a certain stage in the egg cycle, the baby inside can hear what is going on around him or her. When the baby hatches it is aware of its surroundings and quickly finds its mother but how? Well, the egg usually is protected by her, they can hear her heartbeat when she is giving them warmth and when they hatch he match it up to her. A baby is born knowing because it is influenced by what it hears around it. If an egg hears fighting, the baby might be a fighter, and if an egg hears water, they might like swimming. Now, if I were to give you lessons now, you might come out to be a genius!" he began to open the book, smiling as he addressed the egg. "The first letter is called 'A'..."

He was around to about "F" when a bit of sand was kicked in his direction. He brushed it off and continued, but the sand was kicked again. Again, he didn't seem to mind, but it happened a third time. Closing the book, he stood up to see what was causing all this sand to be kicked in his direction. Red was there, digging at the ground as she made a pile of sand behind her. Purple was curious, "Red, just what in Arceus's name are you doing?" He asked. She didn't stop digging, but still answered him. "Well, I just got out of the water and decided to make a sand castle is all." she replied. He tilted his head, "Then why are you digging so much?" "Oh, I'm making the moat first"

Purple shook his head and sat back down once he saw that she was kicking sand the other way. Sometimes she really looked quite cute...a sandcastle, that was sweet. He'd seen how she colored things, maybe the sandcastle would be little and pathetic but she's like it. At least, he thought it would be like that.

She feverishly began to dig in the ground, making a huge pile of sand behind her that she use to make her sand castle.

Anter ~~~~~~~~ Kouen

Anter was now putting the finishing touches on his enormous sand castle that was almost the size of a Charizard. It had a hollow center with an entrance big enough for either of them to fit threw it. It had four towers at each corner with flags made from sticks and little pieces of fabric Kouen had found on the beach. Kouen was digging a trail from the mote to the sea so water could fill it up. Anter was now writing: “Fort Fire-Storm” above the entrance and then took a step back when he was done. “Prefect!” he exclaimed as he went inside and began to pat some of the sand before laying down in it. The shade blocked the direct sunlight from hitting him but the warm sand kept it nice and warm on the inside. Kouen had finished making the trail and looked back at his partner with a light chuckle since his partner would be regretting laying in sand because of his fur and how much it’ll itch later.

Solaris & Tolin

"Let them enjoy it. They'll need it."
The Scyther appeared seemingly out of nowhere.
"We both know what's coming. There might not be another chance."
Solaris fidgeted slightly in annoyance; talking to Tolin on his day off wasn't what he called relaxing.
"I know. I still don't think it's safe."
Tolin merely shrugged.
"We were never safe."
The Scyther silently disappeared, leaving the Espeon on his own.

Solaris, once more bereft of anyone to talk to, quickly set to doing exactly what Solly would do.
He glanced around the beach quickly to find his two targets.
It took him only a moment to reach the first and then the second in turn.
An umbrella was clenched between his teeth, causing him to wobble awkwardly as he walked before he finally stabbed it into the ground beside Epitaph and Sai.
He pulled the switch up with his teeth, causing the canopy to expand and offer precious shade.
"I thought it might be a little hot out."
Solaris offered up the explanation for no reason other than feeling awkward about putting an umbrella down and sitting without a word.
"Are you sure you're alright?"
His voice rang with a genuine concern for the Flareon. She had very nearly died, before.

((Just getting this out of the way before I follow up with an actual social post.))

"That's quite the sand castle you two have made."
William hovered in the air just above the ground, admiring the size and complexity of the structure.
An Azumarill stood near him, looking fairly bright and cheery as she always did.

Serrin

"Hey. Pass me a small one, alright?"
The man who worked the stall gave a quick nod before passing the Ivysaur the requested item.
Serrin quickly grabbed it with his vines by wrapping them around it and then went to the edge of the beach.
Now this was something he had never done before; something NO one in his family ever had.
Surfing would be a fun experience.

Laura & Albus

The moment the pair reached the sand, Laura took off far ahead of Albus and dove into the waves.
She loved swimming. She had liked it enough when she was an Eevee, but the evolution changed more than just her appearance.
Unfortunately, it was so rare she got to swim. Part of being a Vaporeon was being able to turn into water. She had never tried (it was a terrifying thing to consider) but that didn't mean she was missing the strong "connection" to the water around her. She had tried the swimming pool back in the guild, but the chemicals in it made it feel terrible for her.
This ocean on the other hand was nice and free. It was salty, but there wasn't any chlorine or anything.
"It's so much nicer here!"
Albus followed along with a smile on his face before stopping just short of the water.

Sarge

"EVERYONE SHIELD YOUR EYES, LESS THEY CANNOT HANDLE THE SIGHT OF AMAZING BEAUTY!~~~"
This announcement sounded off not far from everyone at the beach.
The source of the racket was a young black Ninetails with long flowing hair and shining blue eyes.
Sarge had considered ditching his little nickname for the more beautiful title of Seraphim, but he felt the irony was cute.
The Ninetails cooed softly as he entered the beach area, glancing around at all the Pokemon.
He hoped someone acknowledged how beautiful he was!~
"A lovely day at the beach! Thaaaaank you Solaris~" He yipped.

+ Random Egg :'D +

The dratini drew herself back up to the surface, glancing back unto the beach. Her eyes followed over the shape of her familiar egg, Andrew giving it a nice bath in the hot sand. She gleamed, the creature would be alright. Claire could enjoy herself for a bit. 'How troublesome will it be when it hatches, though?'
The small dragon shook the thought away, it was nothing worth worrying about at the moment. She spent a good amount of time riding under the waves before springing to the surface again, this time she noticed, however; there was a large shadow hanging over her head. Claire would have been thoroughly alarmed hadn't she heard the greeting.
"Oh, hello." The dratini answered, gazing up at Crescendo curiously. She had never seen a milotic before, none-the-less this particular one. "The water is amazing! It's so fresh and clear, they don't have pools like this back at home! Don't you think so?" She put slight emphesis on the question, curious to know where he had come from, for she didn't notice him traveling with the guild. Then again she never paid attention.
Rani looked up from her spot on the towel and was blinded at once by the ninetails' majestic form, well not really, she had shades on.

Era & Erinn & Rivia & Faran

Erinn smiled at the Misdreavus in return. "It certainly is," he replied, intrigued by her curious accent. "It's a nice thing Solaris did, taking us all to the beach. Everyone needs a chance to unwind, right?" The Paras was generally very easygoing, if a bit timid, and now was no exception. This Misdreavus seemed nice though, even if ghosts frightened him a bit. Rivia looked up at Ren expectantly, fascinated by this strange being that her paw could go right through. Erinn grinned a bit sheepishly, "Oh, that's right," he said, "My name's Erinn and this is Rivia, we're from Team MistMelody." He might as well make some friends while he was here right? Era was always saying to meet new people, that you were better off with more friends, so it couldn't hurt. The worst that could happen was...No, better not think about things that way.

Era scarcely noticed Ivy coming up to her as she lay there, her thoughts on other things. However, when she heard the Glaceon's voice she sat up, drawing herself out of her thoughts to address whomsoever it was who'd come over. Her expression changed slightly as she realized just who it was she was being addressed by, after all you weren't frequently addressed by royalty so whether you were down on your luck or not it deserved special attention. "I'm alright," the Pikachu responded in a soft tone, touched by the concern that she saw in Ivy's eyes. "Just a bit lonely." She didn't really want to talk about why she was lonely, but if the Glaceon asked she would indulge her curiosity. Era's attention was drawn to the surrounding area and all the Teams who seemed to be enjoying herself. It made her happy to know that they were happy, but it would take a bit more than that to really cheer her up. "And how are you?" she asked politely, forcing herself to make conversation. Come on Era, you're better than this, she thought with irritation. Why couldn't she feel more into this? She didn't entirely understand herself.

Singel

❖✺❖✺❖✺❖✺❖✺❖✺

Singel began walking through the beach while keeping his distance a very long way from the beach side, he made sure to avoid any and all water. Last thing he needed was to be hit with any water on his tail. He couldn't find Era anywhere after signing up for the tournament, and when he heard this little beach get together was going on he saw it as an opportunity to both train and put himself out there to the rest of the guild. He picked out an area on the beach, just far enough from everyone to avoid invading their space, but close enough to garner attention if they started watching. He quickly gathered some sand around him, and began heating them up into small glass orbs. They were thin, so when he would hit them it wouldn't cut his skin, but they were just big enough for him to see and then shatter.

He quickly gathered his composure and then threw the orbs into the air and threw Focus Punches at all the air born orbs. The glass glistened in the sunlight, shooting rainbow light in all directions. He looked to see that he only missed one of the four orbs he had thrown, but he was disappointed in his performance. Shaking his head, he quickly gathered more sand and made a total of seven orbs, ready to prepare himself for a tougher challenge.

Uluat Shurinet

❖✺❖✺❖✺❖✺❖✺❖✺

Uluat came onto the beach with a plank of wood, ready to do some of his own personal para sailing with the help of his wings, while the young Mienfoo that joined him, Shurinet, was obviously nervous, just fresh from the egg and not sure how to swim. Uluat smiled and patted Shurinet on the back. "I wouldn't worry about it too much little guy. Trust me its easy enough to learn how to swim. You just gotta understand that it may take some time." The Gligar said with a laugh, only making the young fighting type gulp in uneasiness. This whole situation seemed dangerous, and the egg he was holding didn't make things any easier. The two had gotten the egg when they arrived, and Uluat was so happy to see another egg ready to come to team Firewind. "I got a feeling today is gonna be a good day, right Shurinet?!" Uluat yelled as he began running to an empty spot on the beach, the Mienfoo quickly running behind Uluat, not sure what to expect from the excitable Gligar.

Kouen looked up at the two pokemon near their sand castle and smiled when he heard the comment. “Thanks, I still think we should have made it bigger so two of us could fit in there.” He said as he removed the path from the sea to their mote after it filled up with water. “I promise to take turns Kouen so don’t start whining just yet.” Anter shot out quickly, Kouen only groaned as he walked back to the castle.

Rojo && Azul

The Plusle stopped for a moment as someone addressed them and he broke out into a wide grin.

"Spark-tag!" He announced proudly, just as his sister cried out happily and leaped towards her. The Minun slammed into the Plusle's back and her brother fell face-first into the water. A small ball of electricity exploded outwards from the Minun, most of it going into his brother.

"Rojo it!" She declared and with a gleeful shout jumped off her brother and bolted for the opposite side of the pool. This entire exchange lasted less than a second. The Plusle was back on his feet almost immediately, seemingly unharmed from his forceful dunk into the water and started going after his sister before skidding to a stop, having a sudden idea.

"Tag!" He yelled, hopping towards Faran. His hand barely brushed the Vulpix's fur, causing a small spark to jump between them before he ran off in the opposite direction, giggling madly.

"Vulpix it!" He declared.

Atra && Melissa

"Yeah, we've been getting great weather!" Melissa responded happily. "It's nice to be out. I've been doing pretty good, how about you?"

She watched as an Ivysaur approached the water with a surfboard. Well that'd be interesting to see the result of...

---

Atra glanced back at the voice and then looked down under him before shrugging.

"I'm not that hot." But he checked to see if the rock was getting soft or not anyways. He's had bits of molten rock get between his fur before. It's not comfortable. After checking to make sure that he was indeed not melting the rock he glanced back up at the speaker. It was the Leafeon he had met at the carnival. He glanced at the her as she took a seat beside him, and then figured it probably wouldn't hurt as long as she didn't get too close.

"Yeah, it was fine. Suppose it was better than a fight." He remarked boredly, looking back towards the water and the paw he has just barely touching its surface. A steady stream of steam was issuing from that spot for obvious reasons. A moment later though, the water glistened and small white lines crisscrossed it surface. Atra let go of the magic and watched the small piece of white ice melt quickly under the heat of his paw.

"I've always liked the ocean. Water in general really." He gave as a vague excuse for why he had come. He preferred the Crystal springs, but this was nice too. Not that he could enjoy taking baths anymore after his evolution. Water tended to be painful to fire-types.

User Image
Crescendo

Crescendo twirled in the water with a single flick of his tail. He loved the freedom water gave him.

"The pool makes my skin itch...I think they put something in it. It's not natural." The Milotic explained with a smile, looking all around him.

"I was born on land, so I never really got to live in the Ocean, so this is really great..." He turned back to Claire suddenly. "Ah, right. I'm Crescendo from Team Polaris, I work at the Hospital. You're from the guild as well right?"

He was a lot more talkative than he usually is. Maybe it's because talking underwater didn't dry out his throat like it does on land.

User Image~Mikhail

As far as Ice types went, Mikhail was pretty psyched about the whole beach thing. Never had he experienced such an outing in his life and after days of the idea sinking in he was like a little child bringing it up in conversation every five minutes with Eira who was most likely a bit more unbiased if not irked by the idea of the excursion which she was dragged into. Upon arrival he could feel the heat and light reflecting off the bright sands and water and let out a sigh of utter amusement. Sure it would get old rather quickly considering his already below normal body temperature but for the moment this vacation was well needed and nothing short of amazing. Little care did he give at this point over his accompanying Weavile's sulking which was bound to accompany her everywhere since recent incidents which he dare not even bring up anymore for fear of worsening her depression. Nevertheless did he love her but it was almost annoying to think about by this point. In hindsight he was able to get over years of abandonment and solitude and get to the peppy point he was at now without all that much of a hassle...Well maybe a few prescriptions were involved in the process but in all seriousness some if he was able to toughen up she was surely able to do the same and a hundred times better.

Lia & William

"But if you were to make it big enough for both of you, wouldn't it collapse?"
William hovered around the sand castle slightly, taking in it's large size.
"If you made it any larger, I'm not sure if it would stay up."
Sand was a genuinely poor material to build with. Especially to build very LARGE things with.
And it was already massive enough as it was... if they made it much larger it would be hard to tell what would happen.

Serrin

Serrin tossed the board out onto the water and hopped on, then proceeded to spend the next minute getting pointed in the right direction.
The surf board under him was tiny, as was necessary. He needed something that he could move easily.
His vines stretched out until they reached the sand underneath the water and Serrin began to push.
"Now, let's see if this will actually work..."
Both vines came back and swirled together. After a few moments, the two vines had tightly wound into one another.
The end was dipped into the water and the tension was released, causing both Ivysaur and surf board to jerk around violently.
Though he did end up going in the right direction, for the most part.
