Fawkes (pronounced: Fox) Knightley / Age 16

Totodile began to grow accustomed to the speed and slowly got faster and faster. Before long, he'd be able to keep up with them with no problem. Fawkes looked at Sneasel, who was enjoying the wind. "Watch Totodile. Tell me if he falls behind so we don't lose him." Sneasel nodded, "snea", and relaxed.

Doragon Zantenpesuto Doragon looked back and saw Tympole slowing down. "Let's give him some encouragment," he said to Chimchar and Vulpix, falling behind Tympole. "Both of you use Ember on him." They nodded and then shot a barage of fireballs at Tympole. It jumped as the fireballs hit it and then sped up, trying to get away. "You'll have to move fast if you don't want to burn," he said. Tympole sped up and so did Doragon. After a while of chasing, they eventually caught up with Fawkes. 'I think I've found the perfect training method,' he thought. 'I have everyone attack Tympole, making it leap forward. And with each leap it gets stronger.' Doragon then flinched. 'I think I've come up with a proper nickname,' he thought. 'Speedy. Its not much but its a start.' Doragon then sped up and made Tympole go faster. "Take over Chimchar," he said, patting Vulpix's head to get it to stop. "Alright Vulpix, it's your turn." Vulpix looked at him with curiosity and Doragon smirked. "Let's see if you can learn Tail Whip," he said. "Simply turn around and act aloring. Shoudn't be to hard right." Vulpix turned around and looked at its six tails, waging it. However, it wasn't giving off the same effect as Tail Whip. "You have to sell it," he said. "Turn around and wag your tail aloringlee. Make yourself look 'adorable'." Vulpix nodded and turned around, wagging its tails back and forth in the air. Doragon sighed. "But that won't be enough," he said. "You have to learn more than just the Tail Whip. I want you to also learn Roar." Vulpix stopped wagging its tail and looked at Doragon curiously again. "It's similar to growl," he explained, "which Tympole showed you. Except, it gives off a certain fear that makes Pokemon run off in fear. Or even shrink back into their Pokeballs. Try it." Vulpix nodded and then opened its mouth, letting out a high pitched shriek. However, it wasn't anywhere near growl. Vulpix tried again, getting a louder and deeper voice. It kept trying again and again until they had something similar to growl. "One more time," he said. Vulpix then let out a loud and booming sound toward Speedy. Suddenly, he was sucked back into his pokeball, to Chimchar's surprise. "You learned both Tail Whip and Roar," Doragon said, patting Vulpix on the head.

Fawkes (pronounced: Fox) Knightley / Age 16

Fawkes began to think. His team currenly consisted of Totodile, Eva, Sneasel and Nido. He thought for a while before smiling. "Nido could learn a new move or two." He tossed out the Pokeball and Nido stood in front of Fawkes, looking around curiously. "Nido?" The little Nidoran looked up at him. Fawkes smiled and looked at his SNAG machine, going through the list of moves that Nidoran is recorded to be able to learn. Thunderbolt? That was an interesting one. Maybe later. He didn't know how to possibly explain that to Nido.
Fawkes continued to search and stopped when he arrived at "Venoshock." Ooooh. That sounds good. He read it's description and grimaced, how could he describe that? He continued to look through the list and smiled when he stopped at "Sludge Bomb". That looked like something he could describe. Fawkes read it over then looked at Nido. "I want you to try and use sludge bomb ok?" Nido only gave Fawkes a confused face. Fawkes thought momentarily, "imagine that you're hurling poison at someone ok? Like, try and make your poison sting into a solid attack." Nido nodded and tried it but failed miserably. Fawkes sighed and thought once more, "ok. You've seen Totodile use water gun, right?" Nido nodded, "imagine that, but as your poison." Nido seemed to understand and tried. A small burst of sludge came out of it's mouth but not too much. Nido continued the process until he was able to release at least three large blasts one right after the other.

Doragon ZantenpesutoDoragon threw Speedy back out into the water so Chimchar and Vulpix could continue Ember training. Everyone had learned a new technique except Ponyta and Snover, who was at the Pokemon Center. 'Oh well,' he thought. 'Maybe I should use this time to come up with those nicknames.' He thought for a momment. 'Since Vulpix was the first to learn ember,' he thought. 'I'll call her Sparky. And since Chimchar has a flame tail, I'll call him Blaze.' He looked at his renamed Pokemon. 'Ponyta,' he thought. 'Since she's so majestic, I'll call her Majesty. And Snover'll be called Frose.' He smirked. They weren't the best names but they were better than nothing. Doragon then decided to see how far they were. Just as Fawkes had said, they were closing in on land. "We're almost there," he said, speeding up.

Fawkes nodded as Doragon called out their arrival. He looked down. Good. Totodile was moving rapidly, he was now able to keep up with their high speeds. Fawkes pulled out his pokeball and called back Totodile. The little guy deserved some rest. He called back Sneasel as well and looked up ahead, Cinnabar was coming into view and fast. After about 20 more minutes, they arrived.
Fawkes stepped off the hover board and stretched out. It felt nice to walk on his own two feet again. He put away the board and looked for the Pokemon Research Lab. "i'm thinking that we should go get my fossil revived then get the machine park. Sub made it sound large, Aerodactyl would definitely help with that. Right?" He looked at Doragon.

Doragon ZantenpesutoDoragon jumped off his board when they got to the island. "Land!" he said, falling purposely falling face first on the ground and moving like he was making a snow angel. Blaze miched his movement, falling face first. "Now I can finally bring Majesty out," he said, taking out his Quick ball and throwing out his Ponyta. Doragon returned Sparky and the now exausted Tympole to their Pokeballs, going up to Majesty and patting her golden mane. 'I'll ride you someday,' he thought, jumping back on his hoverboard. Doragon then turned back to Fawkes, who was planning. "Sounds like a plan," he said as Chimchar climbed back onto his head. "It's to bad I don't have any Pokemon strong enough to really help. Except maybe Majesty."

Fawkes found the Lab and began to walk towards it. He walked inside and looked around to see a receptionist the desk. Fawkes walked up to her, "hello. I heard that you guys revive fossils, here. I was wonderful where I could go." The receptionist smiled happily, "what type of fossil do you have?"
Fawkes pulled out the small golden orb, "an old amber." The receptionist paled and looked up at Fawkes. "Are you sure you want us to...?" Fawkes nodded excitedly, he had forgotten about Aerodactyl's temper... as well as it's apetite. The receptionist sighed and pointed at a door. "In there." Fawkes gave his thanks and began to walk into the room. The scientist inside turned and spotted the amber. "Ah! An old amber! I haven't resurrected on of those yet. Come boy, come." He ran over and grabbed the amber then placed it in a machine. The scientist began to push at some buttons and then the machine started humming with life. The amber started to glow. The scientist looked at Fawkes and Doragon, "this might take a few minutes. You guys should walk around town, maybe go to the pokemon center or something." Fawkes nodded and turned to Doragon. "We'll collect the machine part then come back for Aerodactyl. We should also heal our pokemon."

Doragon ZantenpesutoDoragon nodded and went outside to Majesty. "We have some free time," he said, patting her golden mane. "Time to train you." Ponyta snorted and Doragon turned back to Fawkes. "I've only got one that really needs healing," he said. "But all go to the PC anyway."

Fawkes nodded, "I agree. Only one of my Pokemon, Totodile, would really need healing, he's probably exhausted from swimming all the way here but it would be wise to heal them all, just in case." He looked over at the PokeMart and remembered a promise he made to Eevee. "I need to go buy something for Eva." He walked towards the mart and went inside, looking around until he found exactly what he was looking for. A hairbrush, perfect. Fawkes purchased the brush and walked outside to Doragon again. He smiled sheepishly as he put the brush in his pack. "I promised my Eevee i'd buy her a brush next time we went to a town."
He looked down at the time and thought momentarily before realizing something. He looked at Doragon, "did Sub say what exactly this machine part was for?" Fawkes had gotten curious.

Doragon shrugged. "Probably something dealing with our enemies," he said, scratching his head. "But I'm sure its nothing dangerous." He then turned and began walking toward the Pokemon center. "So let's hurry and heal," he said to Fawkes before he returned Blaze to his pokeball. He then handed Nurse Joy the Pokemon and stepped away so Fawkes could do the same.

Fawkes followed Doragon into the PokeCenter and handed Nurse Joy his Pokeballs. He leaned back against the counter as they waited, thinking about which Pokemon to sent to his PC. After all, he could only hold 4 Pokemon and Aerodactyl would have to take up a slot... so he'd have to leave someone. He was trying to decide between his Nido or Sneasel. Nido had been with him since the beginning, it wouldn't be fair to leave the little guy. When Nurse Joy returned with their Pokemon, Fawkes placed Sneasel in the PC then turned to Doragon. "Back to the lab. We'll collect the machine part as well as Aero." He had already decided on a nickname for Aerodactyl, not much of a change but he liked it. Fawkes walked out of the PokeCenter and walked towards the Lab. It was then he heard a loud roar come from inside the Lab. "Ummm...?"

Doragon Zantenpesuto"Sounds like you need food," he said, pointing to a nearby cafe. "You should probably get something to replinish your strength. Especially since Sub made this lab part seem heavy." Doragon then heard growling again, coming from behind. "Wait," he said. "That's not hungry growling." He then looked around for the source.

Fawkes stared at Doragon. Did he think the growling came from Fawkes' stomach...? A bit loud to be stomach. He was about to say something when the doors to the lab flew open and the scientists all ran out. The receptionist from earlier ran over to the two SNAG members. "See! This is why it's unsafe to revive an old amber! Go get ahold of your pokemon!" Fawkes nodded and ran over to see the commotion. He burst in through the doors and spotted the Aerodactyl in the corner, glaring at everyone and screeching out. He went to grab a pokeball when he realized something. Aerodactyl used to be extinct. It was suddenly awakened once more and surrounded by things it had never seen anymore. It was angry, it was frightened.
Fawkes returned the pokeball containing Totodile to his belt and moved forwards. "Easy Aero." The large purple pokemon growled, "Aerodactyl!" Fawkes slowly edged forwards, "easy boy. I'm your friend." It continued to glare at him.

Doragon ZantenpesutoDoragon rushed inside the building after Fawkes to find a pissed off Aerodactyl throwing a fit. "This is your Pokemon," he said, leaning against the wall. "You better handle it. I think I'd just make it worse- for you."

Fawkes nodded at Doragon without turning, if he did it might spook Aerodactyl even more. The pokemon opened it's mouth... a strange beam forming. Crap! Fawkes threw himself to the side as the Aerodactyl released a dragonbreath. So it was a battle after all. Aerodactyl hurled itself into the air, crashing through the ceiling and flew off. Fawkes ran outside and tossed out Totodile's pokeball. "Quick Totodile. Use ice beam! Aim for his wing." Totodile was startled to see the huge flying pokemon and sighed. His trainer certainly had strange taste. He released an ice beam but Aerodactyl avoided the blow. He turned and faced Totodile. "Aero!" It's fangs began to glow a bright yellow and the sound of electricity was apparent. Thunder Fang.
Fawkes smiled, "Relax Totodile. Let him come to you." Totodile nodded and braced himself. Aerodactyl brought his wings close and began to dive, aiming straight at Totodile. "Steady." Totodile braced himself, "steady ... now!" Totodile lept up and avoided the attack, but was hit by the wing. Totodile grunted as he slammed into the ground and released an ice beam, which slammed into the Aerodactyl. The bird screeched and glared at Totodile, completely forgetting about Fawkes now.
"Totodile. Use Ice Beam again." Aerodactyl used dragonbreath again right as Totodile released ice beam. The two attacks hit one another but dragonbreath overpowered Totodile. He was hit and fell back, hitting the ground. "Toto..."
Fawkes grunted, "try again buddy!" Totodile was breathing roughly as he rose and glared at Aerodactyl. Fawkes decided to go for an old classic, "Totodile. Use Rage. Focus your rage on an ice beam attack." Totodile nodded as a red hue began to form around him. He released a powerful ice beam, Aerodactyl countered with dragonbreath once more. This time though, the outcome was different. The ice beam overpowered the dragonbreath and hit Aerodactyl dead center. "Aero!" The pokemon cried out and Fawkes tossed a pokeball. The ball opened, sucking in Aerodactyl. The ball shook a few times before it stopped and Fawkes smiled. "that was a close one." Totodile smiled weakly and fell over, fainted.
