He chuckled, "Eh still, I think he'd be like one of the teachers at school and be like 'no you can't break those rules!' Since obviously floating is something that is indeed against the rules on earth."
He didn't seem to mind he wanted to find out who lived here really give them some sort of remembrance. It was odd but it felt like the right thing to do, something that felt like it almost needed to be done.
He paused, "Oh... hm... I suppose we'll have to figure that out then. Less disappointing if we know how long it takes." He nodded, "Well here obviously it's freezing. Though we could probably bring rations... since you can obviously bring in things. As long as you regard it as a day trip or something... maybe no one would miss you too much."
He laughed as he followed her into the room he suddenly fell quite moving over to the maps and charts. Something about these were easier to read than the titles he had seen on the books. Fingers dancing across them looking at stars and planets. "These charts are...." He wrinkled his nose trying to figure out the word, pausing when he saw Earth and the planets that surrounded it. Biting his lower lip he continued to look at them, handling them delicately, he shifted some aside to see the others. "... Amazing." He finally said as he went back to the first one.

She grinned a little at his assertion, nodding finally in agreement. Newton probably would have been unhappy to see something that went against a theory he'd spent his life perfecting.
The day trip sounded like a good idea. If they came prepared it wouldn't be hard to waste an entire day. But 'we' was the key word. Alone she always left.. After a few hours her lonliness and the strange cold world would send her running. "We should try that sometime"
Something thin and tan in color caught her eyes against the starkly white pages. Tucked away in the large book, thin enough that it wouldn't be noticed from the outside, was a folded piece of paper. Setting the book down she curiously and ever so carefully unfolded the thin sheet of paper.
"The Universe seems really important to my.. people." That was a strange way to say it.. but it was true wasn't it. "The telescope in the observatory was turned towards earth when I got here.. strange huh?"
She eyed the paper in her hand carefully, the handmade paper delicate and beautiful, the script.. though she couldn't read it carried an aire of elegance and.. emotion. Passion even. It felt important. Like something she needed to know. But for now it was but a beautiful mystery.
She'd fallen silent as she inspected it, her free fingers touching the mark that resided alongside the signature of the writer. "A... Niflhel...?"
The symbol of Saturn. Very strange.

He nodded when she said they should try that sometime, "It at the very least would be interesting."
He was following charting lines and what seemed to be trade routes, at least from the few maps he'd seen about trading. Granted there was no telling what planets traded what and why. "It does seem that way." He paused and shook his head, "It's not that strange, considering the ones on earth are turned towards stars, it makes sense."
He paused in his studying of the charts to look back at her, "Huh?" He noticed she'd found a piece of paper. Moving over he looked over to see the symbol and frowned at the words. That hand writing looked vaguely familiar, something that made him bite the inside of his lower lip as he ran through it looking over her shoulder.
He frowned, pausing to read a part of it out loud. "The reason for this letter, I've hardly covered. I feel like such a fool, sitting wishing and longing you could come to visit and I speak my mind as I am able to do on paper. I have found nothing more than the longing to act my feelings out for you as if it were a play of the heart. " He paused looking at the name of who the letter was addressed to, before looking at Polaris herself his eyes wide. He coughed, "Sounds as if they were struck by cupid's arrow and became starstruck for each other." He walked away unsure if he should tell her the names on the paper.

She paused as he settled in behind her, trying not to let her fingers shiver as the sweet words touched the air. It was something beautiful.. like out of a book. But it wasn't just the word play that she was admiring.
This small piece of paper fit in her fingers as if she'd held it a thousand times. Folding and unfolding it.. tucking it away, a careful secret hidden away in a book noone would ever check. And the words.. it somehow seemed she'd heard them, even though she knew it wasn't true.
He didn't need to tell her who it was addressed to, the paper slipping to her chest as he stepped away. "It's mine isn't it?" She had never felt that before here on the star.. atleast not in the same strength she felt this. Even the cloak.. while it had of course belonged to her star didn't give her the same feeling of possesion.
A girlish smile crossed her face, a sparkle in her eyes that was far younger than she was as the delicate paper was pressed even harder against transparent fabric. "I had an admirer back then? Maybe even a husband and family.." Oh how she wished she could will the visions she wanted to her. To live vicariously through her past self's life and happiness.
Carefully holding the paper out she tenderly went about refolding the delicate paper, pausing as she wondered if she should put it back into the book or not. "What a coincidence that he's from Saturn. Small universe huh?"

Niflhel watched her, noticed the slight shiver that she was suppressing. "Yes." He answered moving to the Balcony to look out out of the window. He was rubbing one of his arms, wondering if he should mention the other name.
"Sounds more like a lover." He whispered running a hand through his hair as he leaned against the cold stone. Wondering what happened, it was ironic his name was on that paper. Not to mention, somehow he felt that was his hand writing.
He was suddenly lost in thought, "It's uh...." He paused with a nervous, "Apparently smaller than we think." Shaking his head he seemed to think, "Sooo.... how about we go training? You can keep it with you if you'd like. That looks like pretty sturdy paper even though it's who knows how old."

Lover? Her heart fluttered. It was enough to get her to slip the letter back into the book. How scandalous. And yet....
She was drawn away from her thoughts by his suggestion, closing the book before securely placing it back into it's place. "I better leave it here if we're going to train." She wouldn't want to lose it or have it hurt by the snow. And there was certainly no way she'd forget where it was.. this place was her first priority next time she returned.
Oblivious to his thoughts and the knowledge he was hiding she walked over to him, grasping lightly at his loose sleeves. Smiling, or rather, still glowing from the thoughts that still swirled through her head, she motioned for him to lead. "Sounds like a plan to me"
"The courtyard is fairly large and would probably be best, unless you want to go all the way back out to the fields"

Niflhel had prosperously not translated it all. The fact he was standing there reading his own hand writing was surreal enough. The cold was no longer a bother as he was more worried about what she would think if she knew who had written that letter. How did he even get here?
He almost jumped when she grabbed his sleeve, broken from his thoughts he smiled lightly, going back to a serious manor. Allowing her though the privilege of childish joy. "Yes, perhaps it's better than letting it be snowed on." He said taking a breath.
He was looking as she motioned for him to lead and he did. "Ah the courtyard's fine. As long as we don't have too much metal flying around." He said with a nod as they walked, he was trying to joke but some of it had a small crack of nervousness in his voice. "I'm sure there's fireplaces somewhere we can start up a small fire to warm up afterwords. If you want to explore some more as well." He'd offered almost wanting to go back to the room wondering if there was anything else besides the letter hidden away. Maybe it was another Niflhel, but that didn't seem right, there was an ache at thought as if to say no, it was impossible.

"My new power doesn't actually use metal..." She said cryptically, not really bothering to explain it, in fact seemingly downright, mischeviously amused as she watched his face, waiting for some kind of reaction. After her first two attacks.. it was strange to think that her final one didn't continue in the line of flinging metal bits around and through things. He would see soon enough though.
Polaris was excited.. almost giddy by the events of the day, a stark contrast to her companion. She felt so accomplished and something else too. She followed, clung to his bits of sleeve fabric until they reached the courtyard after which she seperated from him, hopping out into the familiar courtyard. It was where she'd had two visions before.. she wondered if another would come, hopefully not while she was trying to concentrate.
Even on a dying, sleeping star she could feel the powers of Polaris pulsing through her veins.. the extra boost it offered her. She spun around once in the ankle high snow, the cloak swirling behind her before it settled once more onto her tan shoulders. "Are you going to train too?" She called across the short distance.

Niflhel looked at her cuirously. "It doesn't?" He frowned almost instinctively he wonder what it did use then. This was different than what he knew of other senshi.
He watched her as she moved away twirling in the snow. He sighed softly, she was pretty and seemed at home here. "I'm here to help you silly." He called back sticking out his tongue. Which incidentally caught a snowflake, he took a fighting stance and motioned at her. "Give me your best shot ice queen." He called with a taunting grin, as if daring her to hit him, or do something.

Oh she was about to do something.
A grin crossed her face. One that was likely to come back and bite her. Because instead of focusing like she was supposed to be doing she was playing. She had only used her power once before.. and the distance had been so miniscule that it hardly counted. It didn't dawn on her at the moment how tricky all the new power could be. That things could back fire just as they had in the past.
"They are all related still. The best way to explain it is like this."
She assumed a stance, her hands in front of her, facing one another though they didn't touch. Her eyes closed to focus even as she continued to talk.
"My first power was just about assigning a magnetic pole on something non metallic. Anything in the area was attracted to that point."
"My second power let me assign that pole and help guide some of the objects that were reacting to it."
The cold wind had seemed to pick up as she focused, the snow blowing more fiercely whipping her hair behind her back. The cloak billowed back far enough to allow even her ribbons to get caught in the flurry of wind.
"And this time.."
"I can assign those magnetic poles to two non metallic objects"
She didn't give him time to question it, nor really even time to digest the information, her hands breaking apart abruptly. "Magnetic Attraction"
Before they could react the two were being tugged.. no.. seemingly thrown together. There was no time to try and fight it, no matter how hard he might have tried to dig his feet into the ground. Between the surprise and the extra power surge of the star it was just too strong.
The two bodies crashed together with a thud, his extra weight sending her backwards into the snow, him glued right above her.
When they had a moment to breath and even figure out what had happened they would find themselves in the oddest position. Polaris was sprawled across the snowcovered ground in a pile of hair, her cloak thankfully saving her from the snow underneath. Niflhel was there too, his chest pressed tightly against her own, his squashed hand the only thing seperating her chest from his own. Her legs seemed locked alongside his thighs, there faces mere inches from each other.
To some bypasser, if there had been one on this cold dead star, they might have looked like two young lovers, making out without the utmost ounce of decency. But their faces told a completely different story.
No matter how they tried they would find themselves completely and entirely stuck.
Her first reaction once she could breath or think was a bit of a squeal, an exclamation escaping her before she could even think it through. His hand was cupping her boob. Cupping her boob!! "D.. don't touch me there!"
It was about to become one of the longest minutes of their young lives.

Niflhel had expected her to fling metal at him, or come charging at him, or heck throw a flower pot for all he knew. However, that never came. There was an explanation, then.... oh s**t oh s**t oh s**t oh s**t oh s**t oh s**t
It took him a bit longer to talk than her. "T-t-this is not my fault. I can't move." He was trying to get up but damn it they were stuck. He was trying to remove himself but there seemed to be no use. He sighed, his face red, thoughts going back to the letter. He sighed finally having an idea, "I'm going to roll us over..." He muttered as he rocked and finally managed to get her up.
"Is there no way to break it?" He asked now looking up at her. This was embarrassing. He was trying to wiggle free maybe it was just a matter of... yeah he didn't know.

She knew even before he'd responded that it wasn't his fault of course. He got all shy when she hugged him.. got all red when Melody and her simply clung to his hands for trips through the mall. But it was a response to a sensation.. a sensation that was getting all the more worse the more he wriggled and rocked. There just wasn't enough fabric in her skimpy fuku to protect her when they were pressed together so hard. She could only thank his outfit that more skin wasn't touching other skin.
A breathy gasp escaped her. The kind of gasp that most boys would have applauded themselves for creating. But Niflhel would not. And Polaris was so mortified of the sound that she bit down on her lip hard. Down and down until she could taste the soft metal of her blood.
She tried to squeeze her eyes shut to avoid seeing the crimson that his face would surely become, screaming inaudibly within her head at what in the world had happened.
The power hadn't been enough to knock her and that captain over. She'd even been able to push back a little in that case.. not enough to seperate them, but she had been able to move her arms.. try to push back the dying boy whose life energy had literally been draining away before her.
And that said, why was this so much worse... How could this possible feel SO much more uncomfortable having him over her then having someone die in her arms? Maybe because it was illiciting a response she didn't want to admit. Before she'd felt power and soft remorse this time it was... what was this? Her body was shivering under his touch, her heart racing a mile a minute, her breath shallow, parts of her anatomy were a fire in a way she'd never felt before.
"P.. please stop moving!! Please!" She lamented in a voice far more high pitch than her normal one as he managed to roll them, and she ended up on top.
Please quit moving Azzo. Please quit.. whatever the ******** her body thought it was doing body. She whimpered softly when she'd composed herself enough to answer his question. "I don't think... I couldn't break it before until it was done.." And the bond had been WAY weaker then.
So why had did it have to turn out so badly when she was trying to show it off to him. She'd wanted to be stuck yes.. but not like this. This wasn't useful.. this was lewd if anything!!!

Niflhel stopped when they were at least opposite of how they started. He was trying not to let other things think for him. He wanted to be free, god this was worse than getting hit on by Paris. He wished he could rub his face hide it or something.
He looked at her, "It's your attack," He hissed, trying to keep a level voice and not sound like it was bothering him. When it was clearly trying to affect something, he felt the blush creeping down his neck god what had they got their selves into. At least no one else was here, that he could be thankful for.
"Okay so nothing can unstick us until this dang thing wears off is that what you're saying? Oh sweet mother of pearl, do not use this attack on a negaverse agent ever. I do not want to find you without a starseed 'cause of this." He didn't even know if she got stuck with a nega agent or another senshi or something if the nega could take the starseed but, even if he was embarrassed as heck it didn't mean he couldn't sound like some over protective friend.... that was a boy.... right?
His face was red as he was trying to figure out a way to get out of this. Thank god for the snow and the fact it was melting into his uniform or this could end up even worse than it was.... "How long does it last?" He questioned her hoping she knew that. He was trying to keep their minds off of this situation, think happy thoughts of not stuck togetherness...

"It isn't supposed to be this bad" She lamented to his hiss, her eyes creeping open slightly. Well there was one thing.. atleast if he was angry with her.. it shifted her attention and the mood.
She wasn't sure to feel happy about him dissing her attack or upset. Not that she could blame him.. with this as his only reference. She could save the story of her first use for another time.. perhaps when she was arguing with him over why she decided to use it some other time against an enemy.
"It'll last about a minute.. maybe a little longer..." Her voice was as guilty as her face looked. Pray he didn't ever think that she did this one purpose. That she thought THIS would be the outcome.

Niflhel frowned, when she replied. If it wasn't suppose to be that bad how bad was it suppose to be? His mind kept pulling back to that letter he found, he tried to stop it from doing that but it was hard for him to.
He sighed finally, "At least this isn't the worse it could be." He muttered hoping that a minute was all it lasted, he couldn't keep count in his head though he had no idea how long a minute would be... He closed his eyes and rested his head back in the snow trying to relax, trying to wield the awkwardness of their closeness to make his mind stop going back to that damned letter.
He slowly began to figure this was because he wanted to help her train. It was cold laying in the snow and there was a slight shiver from the fact his clothing had melted snow coming through to his back. "You never realize how cold something is until you can't move." He muttered as he looked towards one of the buildings. The snow was freezing, despite the embarrassment of having ended up like they did... he found himself actually cold.
