"Why? Is there something weird about that?" She sounded mildly worried; then again, Bones, the carriage driver hired by her late father had always told her that carriage drivers are tougher than they seem... And skeletal horses pack quite a punch plus they never get tired or breathless from running! They're awesome!
... Okay, so Bones might had been exaggerating. BUT STILL.
"C-Carry? Wha-?" She was blushing like crazy now, her face a shade of red; however, under the circumstances, there was no time to think about 'bad touching' (again, yelled in Tess' voice)... She was aware of the fact that she was not a good runner, and she did not want that to cause Roch any trouble. Biting her lower lip nervously, she swung the guitar so that she was hugging it before nodding, trying her best to look determined and not about to flail.
"G-Go ahead."
It's a good thing she's small and pretty light.

He wrapped his arm around her waist, hauled her up, and dashed the last forty paces to Main Street, where, just as she had said, her cab was waiting. "That it?" he asked, already heading for the only cab in sight. He put her down, glancing over his shoulder. "Get in!" he said, a grin pulling at his lips as he heard shouting and the sound of a mob. "We need to go NOW!"

"Y-Yes!" She scrambled up the cab and flopped down on the seat, guitar still hugged tightly in her arms; when Roch was in as well, she closed the door quickly and turned to face the bewildered driver seated at the front; it was a carriage without a roof, but at least it didn't look like it might be raining any time soon?
"Sir, Amityville please!"
"The street, the house, or the school?"
"School, sir! Make it fast!"
"Aye~ Hang on tight!"
And they went, zooming down the road in the opposite direction. Soon, the mob would be nothing but tiny dots before vanishing from sight all together. She stayed silent for a while before giggling, leaning back against her seat, "That. Was. Awesome."

Roch started laughing, loudly, as he slouched in the chair across from her, then he shook his head and grinned. "Man, I am yelling at Fang SO HARD tonight. That no good jacker just mentioned he might have family in the area, not what street they hung out on or anything! And now that I know he's there, I can't just ignore him," he added, looking irritable.
He leaned slightly so he could dig the silver out of his pocket. It looked to be a decent haul, an entire handful, at least, but he was frowning. "Heh, might be able to get a little bit to eat and a place to crash on this... if I'm lucky." He shoved it back in his pocket.

"Ohh, who is Fang?" She couldn't resist asking, tilting her head, "A friend of yours? Um... You shouldn't go there again." She nodded, looking a little worried about what that werewolf might had done if he had caught them.
"I-I can probably get you a place!" She raised a hand before flopping it over the guitar, beaming at Roch, "And I know a place where they have a sushi buffet at this time for a relatively cheap price! If you don't mind sushi anyway... I know some people don't really like it. It could be my treat! A thank you for saving me!"
Then again, he was sort of the reason she went down in the first place.

He looked at her drolly. "I can't do that," he said, shaking his head. "When I said we were like family, I was telling the truth, see? But anyway, what in the jack were you thinking coming out there like that to begin with? I told you I'd get you your guitar back--oh, right, I guess I am still a stranger. Sorry. Oh, and--"
He reached into the pocket that hadn't been holding the silver, and pulled something out. It was a tiny will o the wisp, which was snoring delicately. "This was in the case. Is she yours?" he asked curiously.

"Aw... Um, I wish I could help..." Her face fell visibly as she fidgeted with the strings on her guitar, "And I came down because I was worried! About you! You shouldn't come here... Especially if you're alone!" She pouted, "The Bogeyman don't patrol these parts as much, you know..."
She then brightened up a bit, shaking her head, "A stranger? No way! I wouldn't lend my guitar to a complete stranger~ I like to think of us as friends!" Well, normal friends as opposed to anything tight, but still!
Peering at the thing he was holding, she shook her head, "Nope... Perhaps she sneaked in after I handed the case over?"

"Huh, I guess," Roch said, poking the little sprite. "She sure sleeps a lot." Which was only because she'd been knocked around and knocked OUT while in the guitar case all day, and she was still unconscious, but he hadn't realized that. Gently he slipped her back into his pocket. "See, you don't gotta worry about me in places like that. It's... well... stupid. It's like worrying about you in a maul, or something."
He looked out the window. "Hey, where was that sushi place you were talkin' about?" he asked suddenly, changing the subject.

"Maybe she's just tired...?" She suggested before frowning, staring at Roch; it was hard not to worry! Granted, he looked like he knew how to handle himself back there, but better safe than sorry, right?
"Well... At least make sure to tell someone when you're somewhere... Shady or rough," Her frown deepened slightly as she twirled a lock of hair around her finger, "So if you go missing, at least we know where to look for you! It's bad to make others worry about you!" Perhaps that would be a good compromise?
"Oh! Yes!" She brightened up before turning around to face the driver with a sheepish smile, "Sir, mind changing route to go to that Maul near Amity?"
"The street, the hou-"
"The school, sir! Please."
"Aye~"
"Its this place called Sushi Monster Rush - you can eat as much as you want within an hour and a half, and there are no extra charges except for wastage," She nodded, tilting her head slightly with a grin, "I hope you're a big eater! I don't go there often for their buffet since I'm usually unable to eat my worth... But boils usually eat more, right?"

"Half an hour? Only half an hour?" Roch asked. "But I guess that's better than nothing, except--" He looked at her, frowning slightly. "Shouldn't you go back to school or something? I mean, people will definitely worry about you!" In other words, he had totally blown off the idea that people would worry about him, regardless of what she said.
Then he stopped, and unzipped his vest, disregarding that it seemed completely inappropriate to do in a closed cab with a girl he had just met. The flesh that was shown was smooth, and quite sexy, but it was blocked as an arm reached into the vest, pulling out an eyephone.
"Yello?" he asked into the phone, holding it with his shoulder as he zipped his vest back up. "Fang! Jackdammit--what? I'm enrolled? What do you mean--oh... how'd they get your number--never mind. That's awesome! I'll even put off yelling at you until tomorrow for that!"

"An hour and a half!" She repeated herself with a light chuckle before shaking her head, "I've only been out for a while~ It's not too bad! If I'm out for long periods of time, I would normally inform someone to let them know so they don't worry about me."
Lizzy might had blushed and face palmed to avoid looking at Roch for a while as his vest was unzipped.
Still, she listened with interest to the boil as he spoke with whoever was on the other end of the line - Fang? That same Fang? Lowering her hand, she blinked, staring at Roch with a puzzled expression, perking up at the word 'enrolled'; that word is normally associated with one thing and one thing only - enrollment into something. Since Roch was at the Amityville Open house...
"Did you get into Amity?" She asked, eyes widened hopefully, her voice a hushed whisper as she didn't want to possibly interrupt the phone call.

He nodded, grinning crookedly at her. "Yeah, I'm gonna haveta go find where I hid my stuff--" He seemed to be talking to both of them. "Wait, yeah, hey, Fang, you OWE me, man, your cousin tried to kill me--no, not literally. But he's after his money. And to pay me back I want you to do me a favor. No I didn't pay him! I woulda starved to death! What do you think happened to the twenty thousand you guys sent with me? Train food ain't cheap! Oh, just shuddup and pack up my bed, would you? Yeah. Yeah. Tell the old man to go jack himself next time he asks anything, got it? And DON'T give him my number. Yeah. Thanks, Fang." He hung up, grinning.
"I got in," he told her happily. "I'm gonna be goin' to school!" Then he stopped, an appalled look on his face. "They don't got a uniform, do they?"

She couldn't help frowning at the language Roch was using over the phone... Although she was actually frowning more at the fact that if 'old man' meant 'father, he just told someone to ask his father to- Yeeeeaaah. However, since they're still barely friends, it would be rude to ask him about it, right? Probably some domestic matter that he wouldn't want to talk about anyway...
"Grats!" She grinned, her frown from before fading as she tried to focus on the fact that yay! Roch got in! At his question, she chuckled lightly, then gestured briefly at herself before raising an eye brow, clearly amused, "Do I look like I'm in uniform to you?" She then giggled, taking the guitar strap off her shoulders before grabbing the guitar case from Roch and keeping the guitar inside, patting the case when she was done.
"Well, we'll be at the Maul soon. I hope you're hungry!"

"Starving," he said as his stomach rumbled in agreement. "I haven't eaten since... man, the cafeteria! That's been forever! I'm surprised I'm still alive," he added, sounding deadly serious about his surprise. "And thank Jack I don't haveta wear a uniform." He ran a hand over his face, seeming to not be there for a moment, even though he was sitting right across from her. Then he grinned again.
"Well, since I'm gonna be in the school I might as well try makin' that club thing like people were talking about. Hey, do you have any clubs you run? I could seriously use some advice."

Chuckling at his comment, she looked out of the carriage, a grin on her lips, "Well, you don't have to wait long~" The carriage slowed to a stop, and she turned around to face the driver, passing some silver seeds over before grabbing the guitar case and exiting the cab. Once out, she found herself at the main entrance to the Maul, and gestured for the boil to follow her.
"Ohh? A club? I think you mentioned that you were interested in a Music Club on Groanspring?" She tilted her head, looking thoughtful as she stepped onto the escalator heading to the basement. She smiled sheepishly, letting out a giggle at his excitement, "I don't run any clubs, butttt I'll tell you what I know? Fire away!"
